Review The Mango Tree - Lethbridge

Worst customer service experience ever. A girl wasn’t happy at all to see group of brown people. She reacted really bad. All of my friends ordered food. I didn’t want to eat because of their customer service. She asked me to return the menu. Why the hell would you read the menu attitude. May be it is their policy, I felt offended anyways. Must visit this place if you don’t love yourself, No self respect.

Stopped in and enjoyed a wonderful meal with my wife. The butter chicken, naan, lentils and rice were excellent. Only reason I didn't give give stars was for the portion size which was a bit smaller than I would have expected. Will be back...

Ordered shahi paneer, chicken biryani, and chicken curry. Roti was a bit on the oiler side but other dishes were not spicy. They have a spicy scale from 1 to 5 and we ordered a 3 which was not very spicy. Overall very good.

The place if you crave for Indian flavor. Lamb and other curries nd samosas are the go to. Good size portions. Chicken kebab not so much

Ordered $85 in food tonight and took it home to enjoy with my family and it was the worst ever!! The butter chicken was extremely watery and the fish tikka was very salty completely unable to eat that!! The rice biryani was to spicy when I asked for not spicy. Called to complain because we order all the time from this place and easy enough we drop 80-100 dollars on food to have the worst costumer service ever! Told nothing could be done unless the food was brought back lol 😂 no credit no apology just bring it back 🤷🏻‍♀️ I will never eat here again and I will NEVER recommend this place! Very rude people and disgusting food. I’ll take my business somewhere else.

Edit: February 27, 2020. Another amazing meal at the Mango tree! The service was 5 star. We asked for a Shirley temple made with mango juice and it was incredible ! Thank you for making a 5 yr old boy super happy. I think the food was even better then the last time. We came here for a date night and were not disappointed! The decor is very chill and elegant. The service was quick and friendly. The food was incredible! I had lamb korma and my hubby had lamb vindaloo. I asked for mild and his was medium and plenty spicy. We also shared the combination appetizer platter which we had the perfect selection of appys to share. The food was hot and so delicious and came very quickly. I thought the portion sizes we perfect for the two of us and I think we paid about 20$ a person not including appetizers. Beverages were reasonably priced and they have a nice selection. We will absolutely be back here.

Delicious food. I had a lamb curry (Indian hot) & my friend had a pork curry (medium). The rice was cooked perfectly, and had a very nice flavor. The cheesecake was good, but not the best I've ever had. The coffee was mediocre, which is why they lost a star. The service was excellent. I would definitely go here again.

The younge lady was great and the menu offers gluten free vigine options there space is lardge and is located close to down town for shopping and strolling. With patios and tasty foods I would storngly recommend trying out. Dishes are not to over price would definitely eat there again.

My husband and I went to the Mango Tree Lethbridge for a very rare ‘date night’ and dinner out. Everything about the Mango Tree is amazing from the people, to the atmosphere, and of course THE FOOD! The staff is friendly and provide prompt service, the decor and music playing bring a hip Indian vibe to the whole place, and our food was perfectly cooked at a great price. Hands down, our favourite place in Lethbridge!

I love this place! The food is very good, portions are big, well priced and the music and atmosphere is very welcoming. At my most recent visit I had chicken vindaloo. It was the perfect amount of spice and full of flavour! I recommend this restaurant to anyone even non- spicy lovers, they have lots of options.

Very nice place to eat. Good East Indian selection. Service was one of the best we have had for a long time. Ask for Joy as your server and you will be well looked after. Fast service great tasting food. I asked for there hottest Vindaloo Curries. Not as hot as I would have liked but still very good. Highly recommended.

Seems like this place has become our second home. Been there so often now my car knows it's own way there. And have yet to have a disappointing meal there. Always absolutely first class meals and the staff couldn't be more helpful, knowledgeable and down right friendly. 5 stars in my opinion.

The food is amazing and in store portion sizes are very reasonable for the price! My recommendation is do not do take out or delivery. Portion sizes seem significantly smaller. Eating in I would leave with two big take out containers of leftovers one of each dish each dish . Same ordered delivered only got one big take out container total.

Very poor service. My starter came out with my main course, my friends came out way before. Not offered a glass for our beers. When our main came out our candle warmers were never ignited even though other tables were. My friend ordered a 2nd beer which wasn't brought until l had to ask again. Food-not the best Indian we've had, not even close. All in all a very disappointing place. I wouldn't recommend or go back. :(

The food was phenomenal and the service was great. They cook the dishes to the heat scale requested by the individual. The servers are attentive but not too much so. All in all a great experience that I would highly recommend to anyone who enjoys Indian cuisine.

Today was my first visit to The Mango Tree and it won't be my last. The food was so good and staff were really nice. I also like the variety of items on the menu and how fast it is ready. Can't wait to go back!

Lovely staff, incredible food, and welcoming environment. My favourite dish so far is the coconut chicken. All of the lamb dishes are also amazing! We will definitely become regulars!

This place has never disappointed us yet! We love the food! Usually go for a lunch meal. The butter and mango chicken is to die for and we always take leftovers for the next day but it all gets eaten for dinner instead! and it’s just as good even cold.. My husband and I and our daughter always look forward to The mango tree! Thank you so much for coming to Lethbridge <3

The food here was absolutely amazing and perfect. And the way I wanted it which is hot and has a unique taste to it, the restaurant interior is very neat and clean. And the service was really quick and they care about their customers.koodos to all the workers and the management. for anyone who want to try Indian food this is the place that I would recommend for you...☺☺☺

Unbelievably tasty, authentic Indian food and the service has consistently (3 visits) been off the charts excellent! My only thing; music is a bit loud. I realize that is a cultural preference, but please, turn it down a smidge. Thanks and see you soon!

Some of the best Indian food in Lethbridge! I had the Chicken Malai Tikka and my table mates got the Butter Chicken and Lamb Korma. We were all very pleased with our food and our service. The naan was sooo good! We went for a late lunch and the place wasn't too busy. The dining room has a nice layout and atmosphere. Can't wait to come and try more!

The food was amazing. I had the butter chicken and my husband had the chicken korma. Both were delicious and had very sizable portions. We both took leftovers home that were actually eaten. The server was great as well, attentive without appearing to hover, and both friendly and polite. The highlight was the naan bread. I highly recommend spending the extra money on the garlic naan! I will definitely be back.

Very busy restaurant. knowledgeable servers. The manager made a point to talk with each table. Thankfully the waitress was able to answer our questions as I was not familiar with Indian food. The food was great

My girlfriend and I went there after just glimpsing it out of the corner of my eye as we drove past. Place was nice inside, staff was courteous- a manager even came and chatted with us. Food....amazing!!! I had paneer chili and my gf had the mixed platter, and the flavors were amazing. This may well be our new "go to" place for east Indian cuisine. Highly recommend!!
Went with co-workers for lunch a couple weeks ago, they're in the old coco pazo building and its been finished nicely inside. We all tried to get something different but they were mostly chicken/beef in sauce: butter chicken, mango chicken, beef vindaloo (spicier) and mango chicken tikka (grilled chicken with rice and salad).

We were all really happy with our meals, and should have gotten them more spicy, like to medium spice (we were cautious as the mango tree in brooks was always a little too hot).

*Beware that alot of the meals give you a choice between rice or naan, but when having the saucy dishes, you really almost need both to use the sauce - you'll have leftovers anyways ;).

I'm excited to take my boyfriend there to try something other than the standard butter chicken!
