Dessert was the cherry on top, no pun intended. We were invited to the opening of this bistro located in Laval by the water with a great view of Montreal. We went back the following evening to try the actual menu since they teased us at the opening. The evening menu is a chalkboard style menu which was short but had a choice for everyone. They also had a few off menu items to compliment.

My wife had the veal which she said was very tender and the sauce was delicious. She also had the shrimp tempura as an entree which were huge and crispy. I had the seafood salad which was really refreshing and as a main dish my filet mignon was cooked just the way i liked it. They serve it topped with goat cheese and onions which i was presently surprised go really well together.

Just when we thought the best had come, their dessert menu made you wish you left enough room for more than one choice. Unfortunately, we were stuffed, so we shared the xango sushi which was like nothing we have ever tried before. It was absolutely out of this world.

They concentrate on their scotch bar which i am ot a big fan of and i feel they leave the wine list somewhat to be desired. All in all a very good experience.
