Review L'etoile De Tunis - Laval

Habiba made us feel so welcome and at home! The brique a l"oeuf was like eating in heaven, the olives, bread, tea all exceptionally good and the cous cous delicious, the chicken so tender I cut it with a spoon. Bonus: wheelchair accessible so I bring mum.

Really very good food. Fantastic flavors, quick service and healthy portions. Definitely a must for anyone.

We were the only customers at the restaurant, it took 2 hours for us to receive our salads. We barely had any service, the lady was busy staying in the back. The food is overpriced. Small portions for what we pay.

I took the mergez couscous, and it was very delicious. I highly recommend this place. The staff was very welcoming too.

I took a chicken couscous. It’s disappointing to see that the plate has 1 chicken leg and for 3 extra dollars I would have gotten the lamb that has a much bigger piece of lamb.

Overpriced for the quality of the food. Service was poor and the full menu was not available on a Saturday night. Would not recommend.

Food wasn't bad, but the price at the end was ludicrous. Worthy if you take table d'hĂ´te besides that it's a rip off.

Indeed the best north african restaurant in town. Family restaurant, home-made dishes full of flavour. Prices are really decent. You can't go wrong with their tunisian specialty: tunisian salad, mechouia salad (sort of grilled vegetables salad), brik (fried duplings with potatoes and tuna filling) and of course the couscous maison! Great restaurant for North african cuisine!

Couscous there is amazing! I've been there with 4 diff people and they all loved it. I liked the briks too, sort of big omelette dumplings. And it's cheap IMO, 12-18 for the couscous plates, and they are huge plates. I definitely recommend, but can't vouch fo the rest of the menu. The house wine (in the white) is pretty decent.
