Review Le Balthazar - Laval

One of my fave place now! Calamari is super delicious! Actually everything is good here! Staff are friendly and location is amazing! Highly recommended place!🍻💞

The menu is diverse, lots of choices, a bit pricey, the food is ok (the fries had a bit too much oil though). The staff is ok, it might take a while to get your order, if you're there for a quick bite you might want to reconsider your choice. There was also a live band, good music, but I think they should adjust the volume, because it becomes too loud and it's hard to have a conversation, and also it affects the quality of the performance, by turning it into a loud background noise.

Meh. The price of the tartares is pretty high considering the portion size. I got the duo and the beef one was ok, salmon a l'orange had very little orange flavour and was kind of bland. That being said our waitress was great (they had a big problem with their system and because we were a large group our food took forever!) She ended up giving us some free drinks for our troubles. Great IPA selection!

Located conveniently, easy to find. Walking in definitely eye pleasing and greeted with a smile. The food was great/simple with a crazy modern twist. The ambiance is nice the music is diverse. A place that can be enjoyed with friends to party or a date night. Congratulations nice to see a well thought out business.

One amazing place! Food was excellent and the service was above exceptional! Danny went out of his way to help us order and made recommendations which were on point! Thank you Danny for making it a memorable occasion for my wife's birthday. Also wanted to thank James for such amazing live music! Food, service and live music, worth every dollar! Cannot wait to go back.

Amazing service, they took care of my needs without even knowing it! The Bavette is gluten free and they have gluten free beer. Just let them know!

The vibe with the live music was good, the waiter was top notch and very patient with our big group to arrive and order. The reason why I didn’t give 5 stars is because the food was slightly cold... I suggest you ask for tabasco (if you like spicy) as I found the food a bit bland for some reason.

This place is a joke! Food was terrible! Long wait and small portions for the price! Not the best service! Barely saw our waitress. Do not recommend

Tonight was my first time eating here and I have to say it was an excellent experience! The waiter was very prompt in serving and was a great help in choosing a beer of my taste. The food was beyond delicious. I had the Mac & Cheese and I will say it was worth every penny. I look forward to returning!

Nous sommes allés pour les 18ans de mon fils vendredi passé. Bon accueil, grand choix de bières de microbrasseries québécoises en fut et en bouteilles. Bon serveur et excellents conseils du bierologue Étienne, qui nous a fait goûter à plusieures bières pour faire le meilleur marriage avec nos repas. Le tartare de bœuf était bon par contre le burger au bœuf braisé était succulent et mon fils a bien aimé sa poutine. L'ambiance est cool mais un peu bruyante. Pour clore la soirée, Étienne est venu nous demander notre avis de notre repas et consommations et parce que nous étions très contents de notre première visite, il nous a offert un shooter pour la fête de mon fils. . Je recommande à mes amis!!

The place was good, usually I had a good experience but then sometimes there would be some waiters that offer a bad service and are often rude carelessly, only pretending to be nice again when we're about to tip. Well nothing too bothersome, I was with friends I still had fun but it's never nice to be mocked when asking simple questions about the menu and all.

La nourriture est pas pire, les bières sont OK, mais le service est très lent et la musique beaucoup trop forte... il faut crier pour s'entendre... j'y vais surtout pour les entrées!

Un vendredi après midi, 16h une amie, moi et nos deux bébé nous sommes fait refuser l’entrée sur la terrasse. Le gérant m’avise que les enfants ne sont pas acceptés. Je lui dit qu’à l’habitude dans les brasseries ou restaurants, jusqu’à 20h c’est ok,si c’est à l’extérieur et sur la terrasse. Il m’a spécifié que c’était à la discrétion de l’entreprise..... il n’aurait pas dû mentionner ce détail et seulement nous dire non. En mentionnant cela on voit le genre d’entreprise qu’est le Balthazar. Nous sommes donc allé en face et ce sans problème ...

Party du staff Long and McQuade Laval le 3 Octobre. Super soirée! Très bon service et tout goûtait super bon! Merci à Pier-Philippe et son staff qui nous ont fait vivre une belle soirée!

Jai adoré la poutine à la bière noire, un délice ainsi que les cornichons frits miam! Bref, c'est un resto bar ont est là pour prendre ça Coool, pour ma part le service était super bon et le serveur au yeux bleus faisait très bien son travail. Partie remise pour sûr.

Amazing place to go for a57 Friendly staff

Si je pouvais mettre aucune étoile, je le ferais. Nous avons attendu 45 min sans qu’aucun serveur viennent nous voir afin de nous servir et cela même si le restaurant était vide. Résultat je vous conseille tout autre restaurant au centropolis omis le balthazars.
