Always enjoyed eating at the Lov. I’ve been to the two in downtown Montreal. It was my first time at this one. Absolutely love the décor and the atmosphere. I’m giving it 4 stars only because I found that the risotto portion was kind of small for the price. It’s one of the most pricey dish yet smaller to the lasagna. It was also lacking flavour. The mushrooms were delicious but the risotto itself felt a little blend. I still enjoy the restaurant but I wasn’t impressed this time around. The service is friendly and knowledgeable. We went for my birthday. They surprised me with a complimentary brownie which was very tasty.

fun experience, the setup and decor is really nice. obviously tough choices for me as I usually like to have meat for dinner in a restaurant but was worth the try. shared few appetizers: the beet and avocado tartar is good, it comes with Taro chips. kind of like salmon tartar servings the "calamari" plate is made of fried hearts of palm. also good choice the dumplings were good as well as the mushrooms in Scalops style. the Risotto with mushrooms was really good. the burger was ok.

Beautiful restaurant, great aesthetic, spcaious and can welcome small and big groups. This place offers vegan cuisine and they know their stuff. The menu is 1 page only of appetizers, main courses and desert, which is not much but each item was cooked well. Rosé salad: mostly sweet and sour salad that contains crunchy and chewy textures. Salade dressing consists of a mix of tahini and vinegar and the chef was very generous with the dressing. For me, too generous, but for my friends (who love sour), a good amount. Mushroom dumplings: good pan-fried dumpling with mushroom filling that is quite well seasonned and goes supper well with their own version of peanut sayce (without the peanuts). LOV cheese burger: Honestly was not able to identify nor taste the cheese. I believe it was the white stuff. The patty was well seasonned not trying to taste or have the same texture as meat and I was completely fine with that because the sauces and toppings and seasonning nade the burger very delicious. Kimchi fries: Easily the most underrated and my favorite dish. Fries are fresh and hot (soft), the kimchi is well fermented, not spicy at all (for some, it can be unfortunate) and pairs soooo well with the tahini/sesame sauce. I would come back here just for these fries. Tacos: made with tofu, the tacos I'd say was the dish that was the most packed with flavor and was full of toppings. I have rarely tasted tge flavors presented and I don't know how to describe it. It was just delicious. Service here is great, cute place, great flavorful food. I highly recommend.

I love everything about LOV , the ambiance , the service and of course the tasty food. I am definitely a meat lover but honestly i am impressed by the Vegan burger - Chick’n Burger with sweet potato fries. The starter - beet tartare and a cup of Lavender latte go along with the meal.
