Review Luxe Chinese Seafood Restaurant - Langley

Ok, so I know that saying this is one of the best Chinese dim sum places in Langley isn't saying much since Langley has so few options... But we did enjoy our meal here. Ordering is a bit odd as you have to look up the menu online then flag someone down to take your order. It might sound normal given all the covid changes but it's difficult to remember all the dishes if you're like us and want to order a bunch of things (much prefer having a paper menu to tick off items). Best things we had here were the saucy honeycomb tripe and the beef rice rolls with cilantro. Pea tips with shrimp dumplings, stuffed tofu and eggplant were pretty solid too. Thought the deep fried taro dumplings had a bit too much taro-to-filling and the deep fried spicy squid was a bit too dry. But if you're in Langley and hankering for some dim sum, this place will work.

Delicious Cantonese food. The roast duck is so crispy with the plum sauce a perfect match. Seafood veggies have lots of pawns and scallop. Taste fresh. Stirfry bean spouts with garlic, you can tell chef did a good job. Ending with red bean soup as dessert, what a wonderful meal.

You get what you pay for here. It's a bit pricey but the quality is there. Best dim sum in Langley. They also have the best deep fried calamari IMO.

Quality Chinese dishes, hard to find as I'm in south Surrey but glad I was able to find a traditional hk seafood restaurant! Will definitely try their dim sum in the future. Sweet and sour pork overall was good except the pork was way too hard lol... Lived the pineapples though! Fried rice was really good. Would definitely get their beef brisket dishes again. Dinner came with cold red bean soup as dessert!

Tidy, formal. Excellent, polite, quick service. Food quality is good, and price point is medium +. Would recommend

Very good quality Chinese DimSum restaurant that is hard to find in this area. There was a line up to get in so I guess I'm not the only one that enjoyed the food here. Service was friendly, though some of our dishes took a while to come out. Prices was a little high with out 6 dishes coming to almost $70. The only dish I wouldn't recommend is the xiao long bao. They taste like the frozen ones that you can buy from T&T.

Beef was very good. Portion sizes were generous, but a bit on the pricey side in comparison to similar restaurants. Service was great.

This restaurant has been frequently visited by family members and I for a few years now, and we've been fairly pleased with the consistency of the food. My father has described it (as accurately as I could translate) as being similar to a good home-cooked meal -- there is a certain amount of comfort in it. Quality of service may depend on the relationship between servers and patrons. In our case, a rapport has been established, so we've found both owner and servers to be friendly and generous with their time and efforts. There are some quibbles, mainly with COVID adaptations, such as with physical menus no longer being used, that may make ordering a bit hard for some. Still, our dining experience continues to be good at Luxe.
