Review Avishan Authentic Middle East Grill - Langley

Loved all the food we ordered from here. They get you started with some tea with a sugar cube. Meats are very tender and seasoned well. Rice comes with butter on top which makes everything better. Small salad is a nice refresher and grilled tomato adds nice acidity to the balance

Decided to visit this spot. We’re left waiting around 15 mins after being seated. It turned out we were waiting for a welcome tea drink. It would have been great to know why we were waiting. The food was good we had the lamb and chicken it was juicy and tasty with the butter rice, good portion size. Great little spot. Menu prices have increased

My wife's a Chef and it is VERY DIFFICULT to take her out to dinner. She loves good ethnic restaurants and this did not disappoint her. Our appetizer Halim badimjan and dips were fabulous, we asked for advice for there best sellers and she guided us to a wonderful meal. The lamb was great and I had a 16 oz Rib eye done a middle eastern style it was also very good. The saffron tea was a perfect fit that starts your meal and it's free. Another good restaurant to eat at in Langley.

You go here for the lamb. Very pleasant dining experience, the meat is cooked to perfection. I would recommend the lamb shoulder especially as it is an incredible flavor of meat that falls right off the bone. In this picture below I ordered the Shishlik and it was also very worthwhile. If you would like to experience eating warm baklava drizzled in condensed milk, that would be my recommendation for dessert as well.

I checked the reviews and reviewer numbers at first then I decided to go there for the first time. 1- There was smaller than my expectations but not a big deal at all. 2- The staffs were so friendly. 3- The portions were smaller than the other competitors' ones, significantly the RICE!; though they offered an extra portion of rice which I personally did not need it and no idea if it was free or not. The kababs were also smaller. 4- Price point: the same as the other competitors but regarding the size of the portions a little bit high totally. 5- And finally the taste and quality: comparing to the other competitors it was good. I had Soltani kabab, both Barg and Koobideh were delicious and juicy. But still needs hard try and work. 6- Dessert: I had Baklava that was really nice and fresh. 7- Conclusion: comparing the other Persian restaurants in Metro Vancouver, this place gets 90 out of 100 for the quality and the taste, but 50 for the portion sizes, which is subjective and only my idea.

Delicious Persian cuisine. We enjoyed the Barg and lamb shank. The food is also accompanied with salad and saffron tea. Just the lamb shank had a bit too much grease and I hoped it had more broth instead of the grease.

First time at Avishan. Was greeted with a cup of tea. Overall atmosphere is nice and charming with traditional Persian music playing in the background. Service was very good and the meal itself was fairly authentic. The flavours were fantastic ! Would definitely come back again.

Food was great Shishlik was too salty but still good The lamb shoulder was really really good I wish their service was better though. No one came to us the whole time we were eating to ask if we are okay or if we need anything. But overall experience was good
