Review Dragon Garden Chinese Restaurant - Langley City

Excellent food, huge portions, and all at a great price. The ladies working the front are super kind and sweet. We used to eat in, but since the pandemic we have just been doing take out. Order a few dishes and then eat the leftovers for the next few days. I love the sweet and sour pork and the honey garlic pork. So good!

Easy to miss from the outside, but you definitely don't want to miss this place. The milieu is welcoming to families and the staff is fast paced. Food came out within minutes of ordering and blew us away. The sesame chicken is a must, and is served with the fluffiest rice you can imagine. It dances on your tongue ever so delicately and is no doubt the soulmate to the sesame chicken. The broccoli is average. Also would avoid the crunchy chicken noodles.

Our first time ordering take out at this restaurant and we were not disappointed. The service and customer service was great. The portions are large, the food exceptionally good and the prices reasonable. Will definitely order from there again.

Don’t know why there’s so many negative reviews about this place. They have over 100 menu items and they’re very friendly. I ordered their #3 lunch special for $11.50 and got fried rice, chow mein, and mixed veggies. It was sooo fresh and delicious! Remember there’s always two sides of the story. I think anyone who is craving good chinese food should give this spot a visit!!

Had a $8.97 lunch time special pickup. Sweet sour pork, chow mein and mixed vegetables. Restaurant was clean. Seemed super old school and basic. Nice employees to help me. Food was pretty good. Chow mein uses thinner noodles with good flavour. Mixed veggies were crisp and good. Sour pork was lightly sauced in more of a brown sauce than usual red sauce and very crispy outter shell. Good amount and heavy. Very nicely made and good to tryout for yourself.

Very good Chinese food, had the $8.95 lunch special combo of chow mein, fried rice & sweet and sour pork. Was able to substitute the rice for chicken balls for only $2. Will definitely come back. The customer service was excellent.

Used to be very good as far as quality of food and price but the last few times we were there the quality has gone down significantly. The Beef that they served in the Chop Suey was very tough and kind of slimy, the coating on the Sweet-and-Sour Boneless Pork was soggy, didn’t seem to be cooked enough. The Chow Main was good and they do serve up large sized portions but when we asked for a container to take home the leftovers I was surprised to see a $1.00 charge on my bill for the container. Now I know a buck isn’t a lot but they should have told me about it prior as well I feel that they already make a higher profit off of a customer coming into dine than the fees that they have to pay to companies like Skip the Dishes. If I had ordered the exact same meal and had it delivered they would have made far less money off of that because of the delivery company fees as well as no tip other then to the delivery driver. I feel that they’re taking their dine in customers for granted and have let things slide, don’t think I’ll be back.

$8 for lunch special is a super deal! The stuff with lot of sauce is a bit salty so if you ask for less salt, it tastes perfect. Singaporean vermicelli tastes pretty legit and this is coming from an asian guy.

There were thirteen of us for lunch yesterday.  We fitted nicely at a large round table.  Food and service were excellent.  Price was very good.  I highly recommend this restaurant.

6 Piece WonTon Crazy. I spent 5 minutes on the phone after receiving my order from this place. The menu I found online specified, 6, 12, 24 peices of wonton serving.<br/><br/>I specified and repeated I wanted the "12 peice won ton". <br/><br/>When it arrived there were only 6. This is not a huge deal, okay so they shorted me 6 peices of won ton.<br/><br/>The part that was absolutely absurd is the lady continually repeated to me that they do NOT HAVE 6 peice won ton!!!! I couldn't believe it. I said, "well how did I get 6 peices then?!" She again repeated, we only have 12 and 24 peices. <br/><br/>I said you know what we won't order there again, it is absurd you are calling me a liar, why would I even call. <br/><br/>She again said, they only have 12 and 24 peices. After counting my won ton's 100 times, and my wife doing the same, to make sure I wasn't crazy and concluded that we would not order from this place again. They also forgot our extra plum sauce per request.

Great food!

Consistant, great chinese. Been coming here for years. We moved, but everytime we are in Langley we make a point to eat here. Ginger beef, almond chicken, lemon chicken .... yum yum yum

The food is fantastic! I've been there three times and it has been great every time. Friendly print service, and very clean. It's become my favorite Chinese resturant! The garlic chicken balls and wonton soup are to die for! Highly recommend if you want good none greesy chinese.

Geoff and Joy and our family took a drive to Langley to visit Whitney and Ken on a Saturday. We wanted to introduce our new friends who had just landed in Vancouver from NZ recently. It was a long drive but was glad to find that they had finally completed
