Review Istanbul Donair - Langley City

My husband and I are visiting the area and thought we would try here but that was worst mistake made for food. If I could leave a negatives star, I would. Ordered 2 Greek plates... One Greek salad had Balsamic dressing, since when does a Greek salad have Balsamic dressing? The other Greek salad was just cucumbers, 2 small pieces of tomatoes and 4 slices of onion.... No feta and no dressing.. Just dry. The beef was so over cooked, it was hard and could not be chewed... Not that you would want to being that it tasted as though it was soaked in salt. Just gross. The falafel was not fully cooked and was like eating paste. Just gross. The rice was so over cooked it was mushy. Just gross. The baklava was edible but not enjoyable. I have a Lebanese restaurant at home and there is no comparison to the garbage we got here. My husband called to complain but they would not really listen and basically said it was just us, no money back, not even an offer to pick up this garbage and make something that we could eat. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

Never order from this place. The food is of poor quality, prepared without care and attention and without checking the order before it leaves the store. The so called Greek dinner consisted of... Beef.. Dry and very salty Rice.. Pile of mush Greek salad.. Zero dressing, no black olives, no feta, bits of tomato, 4 pieces of onion and some cucumber. Courtesy when requesting a refund.. pitiful. SHAMEFUL

Best Lebanese plate in town! I have been going here for over 10 years and it's still the best place around. I would highly recommend

We’ve had bad donairs but this one I’m really disappointed. We found hair, rice was basically porridge, super wet and doesn’t separate. Falafel was soft and not crispy. Wasted 40$. Item ordered: rice platters beef and falafel and rice chicken.

Did not get what I ordered and what I did get wasn't good. Lamb was dried out and burnt on one side from sitting in the warming dish. Olives were dry and tasted stale. Dolmas were tasty, only reason for two stars. If I had been eating in instead of takeout I would have asked for my money back and walked out.

With all the respect for the donair, this is the worst donair I have ever eaten. I couldn't eat the donair after the first bite, and got stomach pain after eating that one bite. The chicken smells awful and the lamp doesn't taste like lamp at all.Just look inside the place you should know what you getting.nothing like istanbul donair

Im sorry I owen a business and i understand that its very hard , however i would not name my place Istanbul donair where there is not one item that relate to Turkish food . Most important the girl behind the counter is very rood and cannot communicate in English neither french. I asked for a side of meat for my dog and i don't mind paying full price , the response was, sorry i can only mix it with rice or salad ( its policy ) Please work on customer service . Please

One of my 'go to' lunch options, I typically go for a supersized Istanbul donair once weekly. Delicious food, fast service, very reasonable prices.
