Review Pho Tau Bay - Langley City

I love pho. I've probably been eating pho since elementary and is one of the most eaten type of food in my life. With that being said, this place is great. Personally, their chili oil blends in very well with their broth. Their spicy broth is also my cup of tea. Within the city, i think its one of the best. The picture is their spicy broth house special ( i usually always get house special as a pho lover) and a salad roll. One down(?) Side is that this place only takes cash and debit card but if you ask nicely, they might be able to take etransfer. Anyways here is my method of eating my pho enjoy~

Do your self (and your vehicle) a favor and don't use take-out from this place. Let the pictures speak thousand words... Ordered take-out from the place for the first time and my partner drove to the place to pick it up. In 3 min of driving, she realized that the whole soup in the pho started leaking. Though it was only 7 min ride from our home, she couldn't stop the whole pho exploding inside the car. It wasn't just a slight leak; the whole gigantic amount of soup came out of the package and penetrated into the car seat. No food film attached in the container! Here is a cherry on top: I called the restaurant and explained what happened from home. The owner replied: so how can I help you?? She said the problem had to do with the car and driving; when I asked her why did you not use food film or anything to protect leaking, she said she doesn't do that unless being reminded by the customer. No single apology. That just WOWed me. Please, never mind the money and time you spend; spare your car seat the trouble of cleaning up the mess and spare your spirit of the day.

Out of the way hole in the wall surprises with authentic flavours and unpretentious surroundings. The decor is reminiscent of an 80s diner and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if that's where it came from. The food selection is decent but focused with enough options to satisfy most. Would highly recommend their pho, the soup is amazing.

One of the very best Wonton soup I've had... ever!!! đź‘Ťđź‘Ť

The food here tastes great and good portions, but it stops short there. Cleanliness and atmosphere is questionable. If they just spent $10k for renovations and kept up with maintaining it, it would take it to a whole new level as one of the best place for Pho in Langley.

Absolutely delicious. I tried the #1 House Special and it is evident that it had been prepared with great care. Their broth is also second to none. I will be returning frequently and recommending Pho Tau Bay to anyone and everyone looking for great tasting Pho.

Ordered my pho rare, it came cooked. Felt rushed to leave and took most of my food to go. Food was good but likely won't ever dine in again.

The best pho in Langley! The pho broth is delicious and the toppings are plenty, so much meat. You won't leave hungry. Everything on the menu is tasty.

Great value and very consistent. You know what you’re getting every time. The service could be better but the food makes up for it. I’ve been to many pho restaurants and this is one of the better ones.

Delicious and great service. This place may become our new “go to” Phô place. We usually frequent, Sen Viet Restaurant at 200St & 86 Ave. Definitely worth trying and on our “do again” list!!

this is the first time i have pho that is full with flavour, think of eating ramen, which is rich, this one over here the broth is flavourful due to the fat which is good for taste, but as you know if you're trying to keep the body fat lower then it's definitely can be changed. so then. ordered the house special, and portion wise was okay for me which is good. and the meat selection that they use :0 have strips of fat in them which is very very likable for me, love everything about the pho here. and noodle was firm as well. definitely it's like pho on steroid of goodness. but as you know steroid is not good when you have a lot of it as well.

My boyfriend and I love this pho restaurant. I'm Vietnamese so I am veryyy picky about my noodle soup and this place serves it up right. I always go for the spicy beef soup and the broth is great. The decor is so-so but let's be real, we don't go there for their decor.

This place is great! It's an unexpected bustling restaurant in the city of Langley. Pho Tau Bay serves up excellent pho and rice dishes. Prices are reasonable and the service is very good. Food comes out fairly fast so it's a good place to go to if you want something quick, but would rather not grab fast food. I'll definitely be back.

FYI they also have another location in Newton area in Surrey.

We regularily go to this place for Pho, the salad and spring rolls. We've never been disappointed.

The staff have always been very nice, and the place appears very popular.

This place is definitely our "go to" place for Vietnamese food.

This place should have the highest rating to all the Pho restaurants in the whole Tri-City. We have gone to many Pho resto and this place is the best of all! I recommend to everyone..

Love this place!. I never fail to come with a friend here because a bowl of pho serves at least two . Accompanied by a side plate of fresh mung sprouts, diced fresh hot chiles, galangal and thai basil plus an assortment of sauces on the table you can customize your pho to your taste . I have never been dissapointed with how delicious the pho soup is. Because it is so reasonable it is popular for lunch and one needs to indulge in one of their delicious drinks, they are refreshing and filling and so yummy you leave feeling like you have had a dessert as well.

AWESOME PHO! Ya ya, the decor is miss matched but get over yourself!

You read these reviews to find places that serve good food, not decorating guides. Seriously, the idea that you would miss out on a perfect bowl of pho because the carpet is 20 years old is ridiculous.

Awesome pho, awesome spring rolls!

Not bad a little dirty. Pho tau bay has its issues with cleanliness and i suppose decor (not that i care about decor at all) but they have a good broth and overall the pho is pretty damn good. Sometimes it seems like they dont put enough noodles in it either. Their pretty friendly in there also. I like goin here sometimes to mix up my pho routine , but my wife wont go cause of the cleanliness and decorations. So if you need some pho away from the wife try pho tau bay!

YUMMY. Best Pho/Vietnamese beef stew in town! The place is definitely authentic Vietnamese restaurant with the bad decor and vinyl booths(most pho places dont put alot of $ into the decor), just get past that and you'll have a DELICIOUS bowl of soup infront of you.

Best Place in Langley City. I love this place... go there at least bi-weekly. The servers are friendly and the pho has the best flavour compared to surrounding restaurants. Take out is always delicious and neatly packed. Ingredients are always very fresh tasting.

Nothing fancy here. Just good pho and spring rolls. Some of the best around, and we've been to most Vietnamese places in Langley and Surrey.

We thought this restaurant was only mediocre. The main complaint is that the "peanut sauce" served with the salad rolls was some strange dark brown sauce, not peanutty at all.
