Review White Spot Langley - Langley City

My wife and I stopped in for a late lunch on a sunny Sunday (holiday weekend). The restaurant was quite busy but the front end staff welcomed and seated people politely and promptly. Our server was Brittany along with Emily (trainee). Service was superb. Friendly and quick. I had the Bacon Cheddar Burger ($19.99, see photo). This was one of the best burger experiences I have had at this White Spot. Burger was cooked perfectly, fresh bun, bacon, cheese, lettuce and tomato. Plenty of fries and coleslaw. An excellent and delicious lunch.

I hadn’t been to a White Spot in a very long time. The food was decent. The staff was friendly. I had the legendary burger. Loved the fries.

Caleb was a fantastic server, as was the young lady who seated us. We haven’t had this good of service since the beginning of the pandemic. We’ve went to many different restaurants since, and none of the servers came close to Caleb. His attention to detail was great. He knew when to bring refills, stopped by many times to make sure everything was perfect. We will be back

White spot used to be my favourite restaurant. Unfortunately, after my latest experience at this location that changed. We were served burgers in which the bread bun was actually wet, not just soggy but wet. I've attached pictures as I was shocked it was served this way. Because of this we had to order another burger which took an additional 30 minutes. I understand that it was somewhat busy however we had already waited 40 minutes to receive our food initially. Aside from the food, the restaurant itself was not very clean. The glasses too were not very clean. I felt very uncomfortable at this location and definitely will not be returning. The staff were not being very helpful either, they did not check in on us, refill waters, etc. We ended up just paying cash because we couldn't get a hold of our server. We also spoke to the manager who didn't seem too bothered about any of this - which was even more concerning. Overall, I would not recommend this location to anyone.

My girlfriend and I normally love Whitespot. It’s always been our go to. However, the dinner service we experienced on our April 9 visit at this location was just bad. We were there from 6:45PM to 9:00PM and the waitress stopped at our table a total of 3 times. The first time was to take drink orders and the last was to get the cheque. Our empty drink glasses sat on the table for 30+ minutes and not once did someone stop and ask for a refill. Attached is a photo of said glasses with the relatively quiet restaurant in the background. We try to be patient in general and understand that it can get busy, but when we, as well as tables around us, have to start getting up and walking to the bar to ask for a drink, napkins, or the bill, it’s not good. Waiters and waitresses walked past us several times and avoided making any eye contact. The only reason this isn’t a 1 star review is because the food was decent. Anyways, won’t be coming back to this location.

In contrast to other reviews, I must say that my experience was really nice. I totally understand that staff might be busy at some point. Especially in not favourable freaking warm weather. I ordered Chicken Caesar Wrap and was sooo excited about that. The salad which comes with it was absolutely faultless! I am looking forward to taste something different there! I visited a couple weeks ago and I really wish I remembered my server's name. She was such a lovely human, very friendly and bubbly, she didn't even care that she had to come around a couple times before I could decide on what to order. I got the chicken Caesar wrap, I know they're supposed to be the same at all locations but this one really was the best. The sweet potato fries were piping hot and it was fantastic. I'll be back!

First time ordering Teriyaki Chicken Donburi Bowl. Loved it. 👌👍
