Review Emw - Langley City

Food was absolutely delicious and a great value for the very reasonable pricing. The staff was really friendly as well and the food just very delicious. Highly recommend if you are into asian cuisine.

Got take out through skip the dishes. It arrived in a timely manner and we really loved that it is packaged in compostable containers. We were missing one of the dishes we ordered, and one of the bubble teas was different from ordered. The flavours of the food was good, but the meat was extremely overcooked and tough. It tasted like food that had been reheated and didn't sit well after eating it. I really wanted to love this restaurant, but unfortunately the takeout experience was not positive. Maybe it was a one off and we will try again down the road.

Love this place! Great food and people are so friendly and very helpful. We've ordered take out very late at night and still got all what we wanted. Awesome service.

Food is great and service is always on point. I prefer eating at EMW more than my own home because it’s delicious and they clearly followed all COVID protocols. The one unsatisfied party’s (not one other party mentioned such issues?) recent barrage of negative reviews is unauthentic. The staff already mentioned that masks are worn at all times at point when cooking and at this point, your salty behaviour is more harmful than someone not wearing their mask during a phone call. Creating a google account just to leave that a negative review harms small businesses who are already struggling to survive. Have an ounce of empathy and maybe we can all be a bit happier this pandemic.

Was super excited to see such a highly rated restaurant option in Langley. But I was very disappointed. I ordered the lemongrass pork and the salt and pepper wings. The lemon grass pork was super dry. I was surprised how dry it was. The sauce that covered it couldn’t save it. It was awful. The salt and pepper wings were a little better, but that’s not saying a lot. They were burnt and dry. Maybe if I chose the yang yam sauce version, it would have hid the bad cooking technique and possible injected it with some moistness. I don’t know why it’s so highly ranked. Buyer beware.

I ordered crispy wontons, chow mein with beef, and honey lemongrass style chicken. I ordered takeout. Everything was hot and fresh. The wontons were so crunchy and flavourful. I really enjoyed this meal and will order again for sure.

The food is phenomenal and the service is friendly and comforting! Everything on the menu is to die for! My favourite restaurant hands down😍

We recently moved our office from Burnaby to Langley.  Many of our staff try different local venues for Lunch - for me, and several others, this is the best place we have eaten.  I almost hate to give a high review as more people will go there and it will be too busy!  But the food is great and owner is great.  It is getting popular so sometimes we go before noon or after 1pm, just to make sure.

I keep going back to this place cause the food is always fresh and the portions are quite good. Highly recommend the Half and Half Wings. SO goood that they are beyond comparable to other wings in the area. Now to respond to an earlier review by Hungry Frog - Why would you order a spring roll 40 mins before? Wouldn’t you want it made fresh? <br/><br/>And special thanks to the chef; he always package the take out in a special way so the noodles are piping hot when I get home and wings are always crispy.

Visited this hidden gem restaurant last weekend. It's Vietnamese, Korean, Asian fusion. The husband and wife owners were very friendly. The owner was the chef at C&U Vietnamese resto in Langley beforehand. Ordered this noodle with spring roll platter & a side of chicken to go with it (pictured below). They have a good variety and fairly cheap too (around $10-12$ per plate). Tried their bubble tea also for dessert. Good service. I'll be back!

Delicious spring rolls. Had the chicken Satay. Also delicious. Good service and food came out quick. Don't listen to the weirdo who gave this place a terrible rating.

I never rate or review anything online though the 1 point review from Hungry Frog needs to be addressed. It will be a shame if people overlook EMW because of someone venting. My family and I have been going here for quite a while. The service is fantastic and the food is always excellent and consistent; it is the best Asian food in the area with great value, and we've tried everything around here. Based on our many experiences, we have never had to wait on our order. I can appreciate the disappointment of not having an order filled though that is a one-off, not testament to the restaurant. 'Fly by' amateur critics (or trolls) need to be more aware of the impact negative ratings can have on real people with real businesses. It says a lot about a person's opinion that will try and burn a reputable restaurant because their salad and spring roll was missed.

Great food, great people! Their spring rolls are especially good :) The bubble tea is also better than most places I've been to as well. Would definitely reccomend!

do not bother with this place , i attempted to order take out one evening  , i ordered 40 min before i wanted to pick up. ( only a simple salad roll, and a spring roll ) when i arrived i was told that they had not even started it . Was on a tight dinner break and did not have time to wait. No reason to return to this place , and definitely no reason to suggest that others waste their time either.
