Review Morning Glory Cafe - Langley City

I eat at the Morning Glory Cafe regularly, as we hold business meetings there. I have yet to have a bad meal and I don't expect to. The owner takes pride in the look of the place and the taste of his food. It is extremely reasonably priced and now you can even get a $2.99 Breakfast special that includes one egg, bacon and toast. What a deal!

This establishment also does catering The restaurant has a cosy atmosphere with tasty diner style food and is a great place for breakfast and lunch with reasonable prices.

Today, my wife and I ordered breakfast here. I had the traditional breakfast and my wife had the french toast. We were greeted immediately upon entry and directed to seat ourselves anywhere we pleased. The service was quick, friendly, and professional. Our food arrived hot and without any undo delay. Prices are reasonable and fair for what we got. We were pleased with the experience and will return at a later date.

The breakfast I ordered was decent. There wasn't enough hash browns for my liking, and they were a little dry. The omlete was good and I enjoyed it. The kitchen looked very clean from what I could see which is a big plus to me, and the restaraunt also looked quite clean which makes me confident to eat here. I like the fact that this is a small locally owned business. Happy to support local businesses.

Not a very busy place when we got there at 11:30 am on a Thursday. The coffee was too strong and had been on the burner way too long. My Beef Dip was served on a hot dog bun but was tasty and the au jus was very good. My husbands omelet was burnt and the potatoes were greasy.

First time here, total greasy spoon but the waitress was super enthusiastic about making my friend's special request correct. No non pork breakfast meat options which is why I didn't give it 5 stars. The food is like what you would make at home, super yummy, nothing gourmet but delicious none the less.

Ordered traditional breakfast. Considering that there was only four other tables seated, my food came out warm. I agree with previous reviews, for the portion of potatoes, the upgraded price vs the morning glory option, menu is a bit expensive and food was just ok. I gave the stars to the owners that served us, service was good, otherwise my rating will be lower.

This place is a highway robbery. 245 for a can of pop is over 100% mark up. My daughter today got 2 eggs and two slices of bacon nothing special not garnish nothing just plain for 660 on top of that. Note To Owner u want returning customers don’t rob them. We would have come back more but after today we will never come here again. There is nothing special about the food here. Don’t waste your money.

I was searching for a new diner with an all day breakfast menu as I was craving for eggs and sausages all week! I didn't feel like the usual restaurant chains today! I wanted a good ol' diner/Cafe. So here I came across Morning Glory Cafe. Only 3 pictures on zomato but the menu did it for me so I decided that's where I'm going today!

Great location, a lot of cute little stores around except parking is hard to find.
The decor reminds me of what a grandmothers house would look like. ❤️👵🏻
The atmosphere was relaxing as we were the only young ppl. 3 other tables were occupied by lovely seniors.

Service was fast, friendly and attentive!
We had the traditional breakfast which came with 2 sunny side eggs, 2 sausages, pan fries and toast! I also added a side order of bacon which came with 3 strips.
The bff had the sausage eggs benny. We both had a coffee.
Everything was perfect. Comforting. Satisfying. Exactly what I was looking for! Altogether our bill came up to $25.25 (more than what we expected due to the prices aren't updated in the menus on zomato) but well worth it! We'll be back for sure :)

Impressed. Living in the area i walk by a lot. Finally, craving a BLT the other day (and NOT wanting to pay through the nose like at another area restaurant), i thought i'd give Morning Glory Cafe a try. I'm glad i did.
It's clean, if sparse and with outdated decor, but who cares! Clean is what i like to see, and i really didn't go for the decorations. I was seated quickly, and served fairly quickly as well. I only perused the menu to check what else was on it, for another visit. I did order my BLT (on white) with fries and gravy. The bread was nice (not wimpy - like at that other restaurant) and it was nicely filled. Not overflowing, but it didn't fall apart either. Just the right amount of mayo. My only 'complaint' is that i wish the gravy had been hotter. The fries were HOT, the sandwich perfect temperature too, but the gravy was only kind of warm...tasty though.

The server was super friendly and knew the regulars by name. It was nicely full in there, with only a couple of empty tables by the time i left. I will definitely be back and will check out their breakfast too (it's all day BTW). The restaurant itself closes at 3 though i think.

A nice little cafe in the neighbourhood. Now that i've finally checked it out, i wonder why i waited so long.

Very inconsistent. My family and I have been to Morning Glory a number of times. The first time we were there we all had breakfast and two of our family friends had burgers. Everything looked and tasted wonderful. The second time was just okay the food wasn't overly warm, hashbrowns were different, and eggs were rubbery and overcooked. However, we still decided to give it another try, our bog mistake. The last time we went there I had a bacon cheeseburger first off the bacon was gummy and barely cooked, second off the bun was definitely not fresh baked like it says on the menu you could tell it was store bought, third last time I had seen someone have a burger there the fries looked yummy and fresh cut however, when I got my meal I was sad to see crinkle cut fries that were obviously just store bought frozen french fries. My sister had the breakfast poutine the hashbrowns were barely cooked which pretty much made it horrible. My mom had a breakfast scramble where the hashbrowns were also barely cooked. My dad had the eggs blackstone, he had no complaints except we could all agree none of the food was very hot. Don't think I will be going back.

A little slow to greet and give you the menu. The waitress was friendly but slow to serve. I ordered the traditional breakfast - two eggs, two sausage, home fries and two slices of toast. The food is actually not bad. The home fries are good with the green onions. In my opinion it is a bit overpriced considering the competition in the area. The decor is sparse but not bad. The restaurant Is clean and well spaced out. The washrooms are clean.
