Review Hobart's Lighthouse - Lakefield

I would give it all the stars it deserves! Super delicious food with amazing view. Went with our usually fussy toddler to any such restaurant after ages and we’re surprised with how he got comfortable within few minutes. The staffs were very friendly and gave him extra cucumbers to keep him busy. ;) Try their fried shrimps. Best shrimps I ever had!

This was our first time to StoneyLake and McCracken’s Landing. Delicious food with amazing view. Our server Rachelle was absolutely delightful and anticipated our dining needs perfectly. Thank you to Bryce and Jody and Rachelle for an outstanding and memorable Anniversary. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful experience to dine here, the people and the food were excellent. They always seem very busy and somehow manage to keep a full house happy and having a great dinning experience. Highly recommend!

Went for dinner on fathers day, restaurant is nice with an excellent view of Stoney Lake. Ordered shrimps that looked like they had been sliced lengthwise and were spicy which was not indicated on the menu and potato skins that were actually mushy never finished both of them. Bread looked like it was store bought/frozen (I believe). Main meal ordered the Jambalaya which for some reason they covered in this sweet (looked like bbq sauce of some sort) and the wrap with a side where we were offered a side of poutine WOW why not. The Poutine had barely any gravy on it and the fries were cold and the curds were not at room temperature but very cold not a poutine. So to top it all when reservations were made there was no place in the lighthouse or inside to sit because they were fully booked and from where we sat they were not fully booked. For the price I would definitely go somewhere else. Always heard great things but VERY disappointed.

This place was awesome! Great service, picturesque views of Stoney Lake, and the food was delicious. Will definitely be back.

Had lunch last week it was not what the review in general reflect. The hamburger was dry the beef dip was a pale colour that looked as if it was steamed and not tender. The presentstion did not reflect the price. Yes the view was 5 star. Will not return

Arrived by boat, good docking area. Service was fast and we soon had our food and drinks. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals and large portions meant we all left full. We were seated in covered screened patio area. The bar stools are very high, making it difficult to climb and then get pulled up to the table.

We ate here recently -it's a very nice area, but the restaurant has issues. My wife's steak was overcooked and had to be sent back. I ordered the hamburger which came scorched however I did eat it to get on with my night. The manager was aware of the burnt food, but wasn't concerned. The 2 of us spent $180 on dinner that night and left a little disappointed.
