Review The Nutty Bean Cafe - Lakefield

Just had the most delicious breakfast bagel and tea at this charming little Cafe. Staff were wonderful, kind and on top of the flow! The food was super yummy as well. While we sat inside to eat, I noticed there are a number of regulars who come and are greeted happily. They get their meals and get settled and read a book or socialize. Can't wait to come back when the weather is warm to sit on the beautiful porch patio to people watch, enjoy a tea and a sandwich.

We stopped in Lakefield for lunch and shopping. The sandwiches were freshly prepared and delicious. The buttertart was also pretty good. The latte I was disappointed with, because it was weak and I couldn’t taste the coffee,only the cinnamon that I did not want but was not listened to about specifically not having cinnamon on top of a latte. The service was friendly, but the area was disorganized and it wasn’t clear where we should wait for our orders. We figured out for ourselves that we could sit on the patio to enjoy our food.

The food is delicious and fair priced. But the service, though friendly, is slow. And they run out of the good stuff (scones, muffins) early.

Took a road trip to Lakefield and stopped at this lovely little cafe for lunch. Had the club sandwich with salad and it was so tasty and delicious! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Really glad we chose this place and would highly recommend!

Fantastic cafe in Lakefield. I visited with my wife on the weekend. I had the burger and soup. My wife had the soup. Both were incredibly tasty! Service was also super friendly and helpful. Restaurant is very COVID friendly with smart precautions. Definite recommend!

Stopped in for a quick bite and some coffee before walking around Lakefield. Extremely friendly service, food was freshly made and the baked goods were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend!

Very cute brunch spot!! the bagel was amazing and those cute potato cakes were very flavorful - I heard the coffee is really great too but I didn't partake this time

Excellent coffee and lattes! Their food looked very good as well. My only suggestion would be to find a way to make the ordering process more efficient. Due to Covid, only one person / group is allowed in the building at a time. This is a very safe approach however, it would be helpful to be able to separate the groups ordering food and simply wanting a beverage. There should be a way to make the process more efficient (maybe have someone taking orders separately from the people making the beverages. Once got our lattes - they were perfect!
