Review Deep Fried Ice Cream - Lake Cowichan

This little place is fantastic. It's amazing how such a small, simple menu can feel so complete. Love the small town quality and Family Run feel. Well worth stopping in for some Deep-fried Ice Cream, Fish and Chips, or a well-made Poutine!

Deep friend ice cream?!?!? Ummm, yes! So delicious and the staff are super friendly helping you choose if you’re new to their establishment. A great place to stop and get some ice cream!

This place is a truly iconic restaurant of the area. The deep-fried ice cream is a great invention and is really done all the way to perfectionism. We were glad to visit this place and learn all the insights about the best deep fried ice cream in the world. Must visit!! :) Thank you for the great experience.

It was lovely here! Quaint little shop that sells little goodies and toys as well as their signature deep fried icecream treats. I should have gotten the ladies name whom was helping us, but she was polite and cheerful! As the name of the establishment, we got a deep fried icecream which was delicious!!! In the pictures is a Jamaican Rum and pineapple deep fried icecream. And we also got a hand scooped icecream cone of caramel green apple. It was interesting, very apple-y. Very good and unique. I will be back! Thank you for having us!

Wow. That was amazing. I didn't expect myself to write a review but after my experience here I knew I had to. This place was great, the staff was very kind and welcoming, and INCREDIBLE customer service. The icecream was also very good, with generous portions and great flavors. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting the city and would go there again.

It was delicious and delightful! We were graciously given wet naps, and we totally needed them. This was my first time having deep fried ice cream, and it was everything everyone said it would be, and more. The woman who was running the shop was super cool and friendly, too. They have cotton candy flavored ice cream (!!! It's getting harder to find these days) so next time I'm going to get all adventurous and try that with the deep fried ice cream. There was also home-made sponge toffee, and it was scrumptious. I'm going to get so fat and gigantic, I'm going to have to buy an XXXL scooter to get around in. Gonna eat here for every meal, and become a non-animated version of the humans from Wall-e
