Review Viva Mexicana - Lake Country

Great food! Points off because it’s a little pricey for what you get, and because when I went, I ordered beef tacos, but was served chicken tacos… when I told the lady that there was a mix up and my order was wrong, she kinda made me feel bad about it even though I definitely ordered beef.

Awesome restaurant. My daughter and I asked the girls what we should have, and they made us the best Mexican meal I’ve had outside of Mexico…and some in Mexico. She demolished hers, and I reluctantly saved half for my wife, who also loved it. Thanks so much, I would highly recommend!!!

It gets one star because clearly ownership has failed to understand how to properly run a restaurant. We were in at 6 on a Saturday, and there were these two young girls, kids really, running the whole show. It took over an hour to get our food, and these two kids had to deal with a deluge of orders and angry customers. At one point they had to call the owner to figure out how to refund money. Absolutely ridiculous and shameful to put a couple kids in that position. If it were my business I would have been there to support them, or close for the night. Allowing this to happen is disrespectful to your staff and disappointing to your customers. I feel so bad for those two girls. Pitiful ownership.

Unlike Anne Farrow I can read and the sign clearly says that staff is only working till 3 due to staffing issues! WHOOPS!!! You have to pay attention Anne! Also imagine complaining about spices and smells in a Mexican restaurant! It's a wonderful place with wonderful people especially the vivacious multicolored haired girl. Don't let some old bags tell you otherwise :)

One of the worst burritos I’ve had. I was excited because it was huge, but then realized that it was 90% rice and refried beans and 10% lettuce and beef. That would have been fine, except there was no salsa, guacamole, sour cream or any other type of sauce. I was eating rice and beans wrapped in bread & paid $25 for it.

Great food, at a reasonable price. Large portions too. Staff was friendly and helpful. Can't wait to go back.

Our experience of this was a very average and tired Mexican restaurant. Vegetable quesadillas with only black beans and onions. Hardly any Pico de Gallo sauce on the rice. No avocado available. No care or freshness. I'd travel elsewhere for Mexican. I was hoping for something good close to home but was disappointed.

Incredible authentic Mexican food. The tacos today we're absolutely to die for, I will definitely be back to try more from the menu. Just like the food we enjoyed when we were in Mexico
