One of the best values in golf. Anywhere. Cared for tirelessly and in a remarkably meticulous manner. Greens are small and nicely protected and fast. The fairways rival some of the most expensive and exclusive golf courses where I'm from (lower mainland BC). If not better. Tee shots to big landing areas are fair but the short grass tends to be less expansive. Not very many faiway hazards but you had better land it in the short stuff if you hope to stop your ball on long approach shots to smaller greens. Again, one of the nicest, most playable, fair yet challenging courses that I have ever played. BONUS: Grass tees at the driving range. A welcome treat relative to the mass produced mats at all but a couple of ranges back home. Love it. This is an easy 5 star rating if not, unfortunately, for the tee boxes. I just cannot understand why courses of this quality have sloping and wildly uneven tee boxes. And considering the attention to detail everywhere else on the course, it is so out of place. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the restaurant serves up some good food. For as long as I'm here for where the job takes me, I''ll play this course frequently.

Beautiful course, a lot of good views while giving you a lot of fun holes. A lot of real estate to play with. And if you get an evening game there's a nice sunset to catch at the end.

The only place in Lac la Biche to dine with a view of the lake. The Pelican Grill has a really good menu with fish and chips special on Fridays. The decor is a little stark but the service is friendly, fast and efficient. I don't golf but the golf course looks pristine, also overlooking the lake.

We’ve golfed this course a few times now but we only found out about this course because of the proximity to the campground. It’s a hidden gem. Given the amount of rain, the fairways and greens are in pristine condition. It’s in beautiful shape and not very busy (we were very surprised). The layout is very interesting and pleasant to play.

Challenging eighteen hole course in lovely location beside the lake. Long holes, but a fun annual trip.

A pleasant medium difficulty golf course. There are numerous elevation changes, plenty of trees, and some great views of the huge lake. Interestingly, the front nine has a few holes which favour lefties (according to one of my co-golfers). Prices are reasonable whether it be green fees, powercart, and/or club rentals. The clubhouse has the mandatory proshop, lockers, and an upstairs restaurant/lounge with outdoor balcony deck. We were able to book a long weekend 8:40am tee time (online) with less than 24 hours notice (try that in the city).

A good stop for anyone wanting to play golf in Northeastern Alberta. Stunning scenery of the lake and the occasional fly-by of Pelicans which nest nearby. Try the fish and chips on Friday evenings and ask for their Caesar Salad, which features their own dressing.

Who would have thought such a beautiful course was situated up here. Great scenery, plush fairways and immaculate greens. Definitely coming back when I'm in the area.

The fish and chips was outta this world!!! Service great, atmosphere and view are amazing! Sadly, the coffee is way too expensive. Overall, worth the dining experience!

I'm not much of a golfer but I come here for the food. It is delicious and I have never had a bad experience here. Great views of the lake and course while eating too!

A gem of a course. Beautiful, challenging holes; a picturesque view of the lake; very well taken care of turf - well worth a detour.

A great course, challenging for people like me that can't hit the ball straight, as there is lots of bush which is not trimmed or clean out.
