Review Gingerbread House Bakery - Komoka

Great place to get some handmade baked goods in the Komoka area.πŸ₯πŸ₯–πŸžπŸͺπŸ©πŸŽ‚πŸ°πŸ₯§ My favorite things are probably the brownies and the fresh baked bread but there are so many options to choose from it seems like there's always something new when I go in. The process are reasonable and the staff are always friendly when I go in so it's always a pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend if you're nearby and definitely a plus if you live nearby so you can drop by on a regular basis. β˜ΊοΈπŸ‘β˜ΊοΈ

The products look and smell amazing, but the service is sub par. I waited in line outdoors to buy a gingerbread house kit for my kids (realizing that it's COVID, and lineups are the norm). Upon getting to the front of the line, I was informed that I would have to call, and order ahead for such a kit. Understandable. I stepped out of the store, and called. There were three employees who I could literally see, less than 10 feet away from me, and nobody answered the phone. I left my info in a voicemail, waited 10 minutes, and got back in line. Upon getting to the front of the line, I was told that they didn't check their voicemail, and didn't have my order. I'm trying really hard to shop local, but jesus, get it together. Guess I'm buying one from a big box store.

New found bakery for me and my travels west of London. Lost of pies, breads, cookies, desserts

My puppy LOVES their homemade dog treats and the owners are wowed by the melt in your mouth butter tarts, brownies and all the things they offer up! Even the soup and bread is delicious. Anyone leaving low reviews - well maybe during covid it was harder with the line ups/social distancing - not sure but I always get amazing prompt service.

As the name would suggest, their gingerbread is the best. I recommend the giant ginger cookie and the empire cookies. Their bread looks and smells great, but I did not buy any.

Looks small business but reasonable price and tasty bread. Specially I love their squares. Lemon and mint chocolate are my favorite. Don't forget to try mini ginger bread cookies..

Bought soup, assorted squares and some pecan butter tarts earlier this week. Everything was amazing and at a great price! As another review said they now accept credit and debit as well as cash.
