I stayed at the Auberge where this restaurant is located so it was an easy pick for me. Their rooftop terrace is lovely to have breakfast on. They shortened their menu to better service the clientele with less staff and I appreciate that. Everything was good; ordered 2 eggs over easy with sausage and a side crepe. The crepe was nothing special but overall it was what I expected and the staff was friendly.
Ate here while staying at the attached Auberge Knowlton. Food and service was top of the line. Good local beer selection and great cocktails.
Great setting. When I went there was live band doing blues & rock covers. Went for their fish & chips and it was amazing, extremely tasty. Loved the food and the atmosphere
Great evening. They are on top of their game again. The cod, mussels, and ravioli were excellent. Service was perfect. I’ll be back for sure.
The Service at Le Relais was exceptional. We came in with a big group of women and as expected there were many special wishes and requests and not only were they all fulfilled, they were so quickly and with a smile!!! The food is delicious and the portions generous. The ambience is cozy with a roaring fire and twinkling lights all around.
We have been here a few times now and have never been disappointed.
Also the menu seems to change as my vegetarian friend has new choices every time.
Cannot say enough positive things about this place!! The food is fantastic and reasonably priced, especially the table d’hôte. The staff is friendly and welcoming, despite working with face masks on a terrasse in 30+ degree weather!

Wonderful location! Sat beside the fire during a snowy Sunday early afternoon for fantastic lunch. Staff was amazing. Welcoming, helpful, very friendly. Would highly recommend.
As a local who's tried many restaurants in town, the Relais continues to be the one I keep going back to. Service, food and ambiance are just a few of the reason why. The staff are attentive, exceptionally friendly and helpful from the moment you get in. Some of my favorite things on the menu have to be the fish and chips, delicious assortment of salads and the creative specials they come up with on Thursday nights. All reasonably priced! Overall definitely the place to go if you are looking for an unforgettable eating experience while in Knowlton.
