Review Leung Yue Hot Pot - Kitchener

This is an order for 3 people for take out. Are you serious? You guys are ckcsckers. 3 shrimp??? Wtfff 72$. You guys need to get your business shut down

Staff were yelling at us because of we accidentally touched the stove. The chubby waiter even wanna fight us outside. The female one called the boss who is also her father to kick us out. Please stay away from here, you got so many choices in Toronto, please don’t waste any of your money here.

Was a disappointing experience came looking for a good hot pot location and got pushed aside during the entire time. Put behind a wall not spoken to except to tell me where to sit. Had no service just given the food and left alone had to ask for a drink after witnessing dozens of top tier service for others very disappointed.

food quality compared at price is very reasonable, we can pretty much only expect the taste about food and then forget about the environment

PLEASE don’t support this place. Went in with a party of two and they tried to sit us with another table (with no distancing…during COVID 14K cases a day). When mentioning it wasn’t safe, the waitress had this smug attitude and showed us to another table (which was the door). I honestly have no idea how this place is still open it’s quite disgusting without even mentioning how unclean it is. The owner should be ashamed and clearly only cares about himself and how much money he can make.

Food is always delicious, especially the dipping sauce. Experience is depending on how you follow the rules tho lol

Very rude owner and very unsanitary environment. We also got terribly sick after eating here and had diarrhea for 3 days straight. I used to come here in the past without any issues but recently it's been absolutely horrible and I'm never coming here again.

The food was great, a solid variety and delicious. The price was also reasonable. Service was decent, the guy was attentive and quick to help with any of our requests for water, napkins, order, etc.

Hot pot. Great if u do all u can eat - different refreshing experience - if u aren't use to Asian eating - and are not open minded - don't bother coming - leaves more space for the rest of us to enjoy! Basically u cook your own food in 2 different pots of soup - there are your meats and seafood, veggies, noodles and rice - and don't forget your awesome sauces that come for u to dip! And don't forget to order a jug of mango juice - it's awesome - and of course we love to enjoy the Asian martial arts movies while eating! The owner and his son are so nice - we vist at least once a month!

Good Food. Certainly a little different with the Decor. Used to be Old Swiss Castle. Most of the Medieval decorations remain. We have always found the staff friendly. Very much a Chinese feel. If you have eaten rurally in China or Korea you will understand. A little different than most restaraunts in Canada. Food has always been plentiful. Tables Clean. We go there quite often. Owner is always friendly.

WLU Place to go!. Great place 15$ for a basic and 20$ (before taxes) For all you can eat hot pot, Not sure how some people are getting 30$/per person (order a pitcher of juice to themselves?) (Also who orders just noodles at a all you can eat restaurant that's not even worth it?) Beef is great, the manager says its texas beef and even showed us the box cover saying where it was from. But curious to how people are staying 3 hours when there's 2 hours seating limit? maybe just one of those tables that got screamed at by the boss, :) He has a temper when .customers screw with the stoves and don't read the "Don't Touch Change Stove sign" Experienced it first hand, otherwise the younger guy (his son?) times the tables on the clock next to their personal table so people don't stay over the 2 hour limit and he usually lets you stay 15 minutes over limit. <br/>Order a mango pitcher, its worth it. 8$/pitcher, unfortunately 2 person limit and not opened for lunch... not sure why. <br/>It's a bit dirty but didn't really effect me eating, I mean the floors could use a bit of a wash but it's mostly just salt and mud (not like some other Chinese restaurants in K/W area that have food on the ground or sauce left on the tables and still seat you there or dirty chopsticks spoons etc.)

Worst Place Ever!!. I usually never write review but this place deserves one as it is the worst restaurant I have EVER been to. Waited 45 minutes to get broth on the table, food was disgusting, service was non-existent, restaurant was dirty and spent $30/per person on basically a few noodles. Total dinner took 3 hours..I was so hungry afterwards I had to go grab a burger elsewhere. Do not ever go there, you will be very disappointed!

TERRIBLE restaurant. Terribly rude service; and disgustingly filthy restaurant. Do not eat here unless you enjoy being belitted and treated like complete crap.
