Really enjoyed our dining experience here! I truly appreciate their efforts to be unique and go outside of the box! The duck wings were a great flavour (I only dock points because I just prefer chicken meat but 9/10 flavour) and the savoury donuts were SO good! I had duck again for the main and I actually preferred the duck confit over the duck wings. Super juicy and tender meat! My husband had the burger which he said was very good! Great ambiance with the live music and friendly attentive staff!

Decent food with good ambience and patio seating available. Service was a little slow to start off with our beers. But overall friendly staff and decent appetizer options! We tried: Truffle fries -5/5 Brussel Sprouts- 5/5 Pasta - 4.5/5 Mediterranean Bowl- 4/5 Fish & Chips - 5/5

Google recommended this and it was such a hit. The servers were such a cheerful hosts, the food was good. We tried the duck wings and truffle fries for appetizers on the recommendation of the server. It was excellent. I recommend a 100%. For drinks we had the Box Job and the Hermit ****. I don't remember. Those were good as well. I didn't really enjoy the fish and chips, it came out a bit bland. But the braised lamb was okay.

I absolutely ❤️ love the vintage vibes and the speak easy prohibition drink menu. The fried brusslesprouts totally melt in your mouth and words can't express how amazing the staff are! Definitely be back soon.

If you like craft beer, gourmet cocktails, and amazing food then this place is for you! Our hotel recommended it to us. We wanted a late night snack and a beer. It definitely didn't disappoint. We let our server pick our beer. They have 16 rotating taps! And if the rest of the menu tastes as good as our Duck Wings and Whiskey & Dubliner Dip, then you're in for a treat. Don't pass it up.

Top notch service. Julia and Vanessa took good care of my wife and I. The peppercorn burger was crusted with peppercorns, and the sweet potato fries were spicy and delicious. The 'Clip Joint' is an excellent blend of baking notes and fruits. All in all, a great afternoon stop.

I just want to thank the staff at the restaurant, The experience was amazing the food was amazing the staff was so friendly and helpful. I could not be happier and look forward to our next visit, update: this is my new favorite restaurant to visit The menu changes, the drinks change. Always something different to try! Great customer service, vibe and dishes!! The apps seen in the pictures were so good and so was dinner but I forgot to take pictures. The rice crispies with the brussel sprouts work and this dip was on point!

Maybe it was a bad night, maybe the staff were new, maybe... We had a reservation for 8:30 and showed early to sit at the bar for a bit. When our group of 6 arrived on time, our table wasn’t made up. What came next was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. Service was atrocious. This goes beyond even one server to everyone involved with serving our meal. Slow, distracted, inaccurate, discourteous, inappropriate and more. Food-wise - if you were a fan of The Berlin, this place isn’t for you. We ordered a range of dishes (only some of which got delivered) but bland, greasy and nondescript was the theme. No desert or coffee offered. Drink-wise, we waited for fully 30 minutes for the first bottle of wine on the red wine list to be delivered. We ordered champagne for a birthday that took another 30 mins to arrive and was warm. Cocktails looked nice, but aside from one bar man who wad attentive and detailed, we watched several make sloppy drinks and shrug at spillages or wrong recipes and serve them anyway. The decor is cool. The location is chic. The idea is clever. The execution feels like first time restauranteurs charging over the top for what a Montana’s would do better at. I hate to write such a candid review. I’m sorry to the staff and the owners, but this was a monumentally awful dining experience that we will not be repeating - likely ever.

Went for casual dinner the first week of its opening. Our server was prompt & attentive even though we only had sparkling water to drink. He kindly reminded us the bottle was $6 Ok? Yes. As asked he brought us slices of lime & lemon. The lamb burger was excellent. Juicy, tasty and just the right size. Fries were perfectly salted but soggy. Why do chefs insist on serving them in those silly little cone shaped dishes. Forget the presentation, throw them on a super hot serving plate, they stay crisper. My friend had the halibut with clams & asked for a spoon to slurp up the yummy broth. Chocolate mousse was disappointing. Close your eyes, what's the flavour, dunno, lacked deep chocolate flavour. The tuille was bitter. Even with this miss it was overall a very good dining experience. We will return.

Very cool new place! Amazing curb appeal and atmosphere. We had a great server named Adam. He had a lot of knowledge and gave us a bit of a rundown of where the idea for the tavern came from. The food was absolutely incredible, though my husbands burger was a little cold. The only thing worth noting is the main course took quite a long time to arrive. It wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, as the restaurant itself is great to hang out in. Take the time to check out the study upstairs!

Warm, inviting atmosphere, gorgeous meal presentation and brilliant flavours, attentive and warm wait staff, perfect timing on course arrivals ... I can’t beam enough. This place is a bonafide gem. ��

Went tonight for dinner with my boyfriend and it was amazing! We had the brie cheese app, oysters, the pork schnitzel and the lobster roll. Food was so fresh and extremely delicious not to mention a great selection of craft beer! Server was very friendly and the atmosphere was great. There were so many food items on the menu that caught our eye so we will definitely be back to try more! Thanks for the great date night

We had great service, the mushroom toast was fantastic and the desert was amazing! We will be back.

Food was good. Service was good (Thanks Andrew). Mgmnt not so good. Washrooms were out of order on main floor. Washrooms upstairs were not signed. Men’s vs Women’s. And we had two ask twice to get paper towels in the men’s room. Mngr was borderline condescending.
