Amazing place to hangout with friends. You will definitely get Irish feeling in a pub. They have great deals on every weekdays. Just love the food as specially my friends love chicken wings. Never forget to try their special sauce chicken wings. They make it with special love. Good and pocket friendly place to visit with friends.

I was able to get a half day off work and went downtown to take care of some errands. I met up with my girlfriend and we decided to pop in for a quick lunch. We walked into what seemed like a fairly typical looking bar. Nothing fancy just plain wooding, booths and stools; exactly what we were looking for and wanting.
After looking over the menu I saw that there was a drink called the black and tan. I asked what that was and the waitress explained it was a mix of a ale and cider. Curious, I ordered it and ya, it was pretty good. The nutty ale meshed well with the fruitiness of the cider.
We both decided on the chicken wings: honey garlic, curry, and sweet chili. I was happy to see they had some uncommon flavours like the curry. They all came out in quick order and everything taste quite good. The wings were a fair size and not overdone like some places treat their bar food.
All in all the service was friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was to be expected, and the food good. Not only that, but it seems like they have some original flavours and some unique twists on some drinks. If I'm in the area I'll definitely be stopping there again.
Today is the first day we visited this place, it was fully packed as it was Friday. Open air ambience was too good for dinner. Friday they serve half price fish and chips. We took one fish and chips and one chicken stir fry. Chicken stir fry was really exceptional. It was served hot and juicy on the bed of basmati rice with some sauté vegetables. It is a place where you can enjoy Friday night where rest of the kitchener is silent.
I felt like hitting a pub for supper so went to Bobby O'Brien's Irish Pub. I ordered garlic bread with cheese and wings with Frank's Buffalo. The garlic bread was good. The bread was soft with lots of butter and cheese. The wings were good too ... just the right amount of heat. There were eight wings to a pound and they were a good size. The food was good and Tanya took good care of me. She was super friendly and helpful.
So as many downtown drinkers know, there used to be this really popular pub called The Still in downtown Kitchener.
Came in today, and had a fantastic experience. A lot of people were on the patio because of a blues event, some lady at the door tried to charge me 10$ to get seated. The lovely manager came over and told the lady that was with the event to stop, which was appreciated. She sat me, and then my friends showed up, we had a fantastic time where our server maddy treated us fantastically. Our food came out quickly, and our drinks even quicker. Definitely the best patio in Kitchener/Waterloo, and even better staff. Would recommend, and will be returning frequently.
Good place for Game nights, servers are also very courteous and polite. Unfortunately we were unable to get chicken wings as they got out of stock but they gave us good discount 😋. Will definitely visit again 👍

After many years of going to Bobby's, I thought it was time to write a review! We have always had a great time there - the patio is the best in town, they have lots of great food options for reasonable prices, and their drinks are reasonable as well! A great place to have a group, a date night, and to catch some live music!
We really enjoy their wings, pickle spears, cobb salad and burgers!
