What an amazing dinning experience. Service was fast and friendly. The food was so much more than I expected. The blackened salmon power bowl was delicious as was the spinach artichoke dip. All the food was fresh and hot! We shared the white chocolate cheese cake it was to die for. Our server, Shelby B. Was so sweet and friendly. Shelby B. Gave the best service I've ever had when eating out. It was where we had our first date and we were back to celebrate! Definitely recommend for an amazing dinning experience!

Had the mini yorkies and they were disappointing. A tea spoon of ground beef hidden under mashed potatoes. A far cry from when it was actually roast beef with gravy. Soup was good. They've really slimmed down the menu. Pretty basic stuff. I would never go back personally. Staff were wonderful though. Warm and friendly.

Asked the bartender to make a black and tan Her response was we don't have a good beer that can be used as the tan portion. I told her that you had Stella on tap and it worked just fine. She agreed to try... These were by far the best black and tans I've ever had.. well done

Pros: -awesome patio - great social distancing -staff were very friendly -very clean -great music -large food portions -food look great and was presented well -fries and gravy was delicious Cons: -service was slow - server apologized -fish tacos were a bit dry. The fish portion was big in each taco but there wasn’t enough sauce in the coleslaw to make it wet enough. The batter was thick and dry. I asked for some tartar sauce on the side which did help a lot. -Fish and chips were the same. Big and dry. More tartar sauce should be served with it based on how dried out it was. Overall, we enjoyed our time there. Nice to be on a patio after all of these months. We don’t think we would get the fish again but maybe try something else if we went back. Food is make-it or break-it for me so that’s why I only gave 3 stars.

This place was okay. Food was okay. Service was okay. Our waitress was nice but when I ordered a refill on my beer she had forgot. The nice thing was the live music that guy took me back to the 90s. My daughter absolutely loved him. I probably might go back but not with the family. Maybe with some friends or with my wife. Definitly a bar feel. Not a place to take a date. Washroom wasn't too bad

Everything exceeded expectations! Had the deal of the day which was fish and chips. Everything was hot and very delicious. The coleslaw was perfect and better than most places I've been to. My grandmother had the seafood chowder and said very delicious, filling, great tasting, and the scone was amazing. They give you free dessert for your birthday. Fun atmosphere. Not too loud. Bathrooms were clean. Staff was very helpful and happy. Our waitress, Sarah, was awesome. Will definitely come again!

You need bbq or whiskey bbq wings on the menu!! Plain and simple... Waitress was very sweet... Will I return? Not likely...menu and atmosphere is lacking

My wife and I ordered take out last week for the 1st time in 3 months from Fionn's via Skip The Dishes. We ordered the maple glazed salmon which we've enjoyed in previous dine-in experiences. This time the salmon was burnt and every bite tasted it. I called and spoke to the manager on duty (Laurie/Lori) who apologized but told me I had to take the issue up with Skip the Dishes for a refund, which I did, but never recieved a response from them. I told her I couldn't understand how any responsibility would or should be on Skip The Dishes when Fionn's ultimately recieves the money not to mention they didn't cook it. I especially didn't understand how the chef thought that was appropriate to send out of the kitchen and in my frustration she ultimately to hang up on me...which was appalling. We've had plenty of good experiences there previously but this wasn't one of them. As a result of this post I connected with Tianda the GM who made it right. Thank you Tianda for caring and your follow up. We will be back again soon.

Worst service ever. I was there for 3 hours and had to a leave someone done each time I wanted something. They forgot to make an entire meal, switched servers so we didn't even know who's ours was, I waited over 35 minutes for a glass of water and 25 minutes for a menu. When I had mentioned it to the manager manager( never smiles with long hair) she just kinda srugged me off and got me what I had asked for. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

0 Stars - Started off alright with quick drinks and food orders. After our food came out, the server vanished for 45min when we needed to inform them that someone's food never came out (server forgot to order it). We were then informed that the burger would be free if we wanted it so we ordered it. Then our server went home and we had no replacement. Drinks were taking 30min to come from that point on and we had to leave our table to hunt for a server to even order them. We asked for a dessert menu which took another 30min to get. When we received our bills they tried to charge for 50% of the burger that was supposed to be free. The manager did not try to help us at all the entire time and was very snobby (did not feel like they even wanted our business). Overall it took us nearly 3 hours to get out of there, thankfully the live band was great. Have never had anything close to this bad of an experience at a restaurant and would not go back if they paid me to eat there.

Super friendly staff, easy going atmosphere and excellent selection of beers on tap. Great for a quick pint, bite to eat or evening with friends. Has that, "everybody knows your name" feeling.

Bread bites and cheese appy suitable for 2 is "ok", if you're really hungry and want something to tide you over. Lamb pie with roasted spinach and mushrooms was less than ok. The gravy was too thick, there were perhaps 5 TINY pieces of lamb in the pie and 3 of those were chewy and grissly. The crust/pastry was crisp on the outside and soft inside how it should be and, was actually quite enjoyable. The portion size likely wouldn't satisfy the average guy's appetite. Fettuccine dish was a bit dry but tasted nice. Noodles were cooked perfectly. Server was a very nice girl and was attentive.

We went for St. Patrick's Day this year. We knew we would have to wait so that was fine. We waited about 45 minutes to be seated. They had great live music. We were served our drinks righy away. We had to wait almost an hour for our food - again we knew it would be a long wait because it was so packed. What was really upsetting was that we were so patient and understanding only to have our food brought to us and it was extremely disappointing. We got a small handful of fries each and it wasnt even long fries - it was like we got all of the small crunchy pieces that arr left over. My partner ordered the Guiness Burger and I ordered a Cheeseburger with bacon. Both of our burgers were burnt and so was my bacon. The taste was awful. Our server asked if everything was okay .. We just shook our head yes because there was no way we were waiting another hour for new plates to be brought out to us. We just quickly finished our food and got out of there as soon as possible. What a sad first experience of this restaurant. I understand that it was busy ... But if customers are waiting a really long time - their food should atleast be enjoyable.

Fairly disappointed our server was originally so nice.. but she left and we were neglected all night. 30 minutes for a wine refill. Had it not been for the amazing music we would've walked out!! Also props to the nice server with long hair and glasses that tried to fix everything !!

Best dinner we've had in a long time! Server was great & his recommendations were perfect! Calamari to die for! Even had dessertwhich put us over the top!

I have been to Fionn Macool's many times in the last year or so. I've always had a good time and enjoy the food and drink selections. They have a nice variety of beers and a really nice wine and cocktail menu too! Great pub with live music most evenings!!!

Went for drinks after work. Had the best Sangria, nachos and live music. Close to the highway and great parking too.

Always a great experience with fast and friendly service! Blarney Chips are a favorite app of ours and the kids love the Shepard's Pie and Pub Dogs. There is a great variety of beer and cocktails in the bar, however the Apple Sage Bourbon Sour is my favorite! The live music is great and we love the patio on nice days/evenings! :)

Was in Fionn MacCool's Kitchener for the first time today and found it to be a nice pub that had great service and delicious food and great prices especially when you consider The quality of The food....it was amazing! ! The people that work there are very welcoming....definately going back to try something else on the menu....the Shepards pie, fries were delicious and the gravy was the tastiest I have ever had!! Tried the apple dessert and it was yummy!!! Tried this pub that I have never heard of under the recommendation of a friend and she did not steer me wrong! !! Absolutely delicious and great all the way around! !!

I was there 2 weeks ago for my husbands birthday!! The food, drinks and staff were great! They also had a great live band. What a great time.

Service was Phenomenal. Sat at the bar and had a great time. Food as always was great. So many different items to choose from. Definitely will be stopping in again soon �

I have been many times for lunch. Always a friendly staff, very attentive and the food was served in a timely manner. Food is great, always enjoy what i order.

We went to fionn Mac Cools last night to celebrate mothers day early We had a very happy and friendly server from Guatemala! The live 'lady' singer was very good and the atmosphere was quite warm and inviting!

Best black and tan!! Service rocks!! Great food!!!

Always friendly staff. Awesome place to go to for simply a drink or for a great time out.
