We have never tried pupusas before so we initially ordered 3. While they have veggies and beans, we ordered the chicharron (pork) and chicharron with cheese, of course!
They were soooo good we ordered 3 more! The warm traditional Salvadoran dish is a thick corn tortilla with a savoury filling. The side coleslaw was a perfect complement.
Hubby got a beef burrito which was quite good as well!
The prices were very reasonable and we will definitely be back the next time we are in Kitchener!
Awsome food. Great prices. Place is relatively small but clean and friendly. Easy to find the restaurant. I will come back to try other foods too.

I think I've been going there for 5 or 6 years. Always a little worried each time I go that it may be too busy (word gets around about such gems!) :)
If you want authentic Mexican food - well, this isn't Mexican food. The family that runs this is from central america (think they're from El Salvador) - so, it's Salvadoran food. :)

Eat the soft tacos quickly! The shells get soggy quickly, making them much more challenging to eat without wearing much of it. :)
Not licensed, but there's lots of Mexican pop you can enjoy with your meal as well as other beverages.
Authentic & Delicious. This is truly a hidden gem, and I'm glad I got to discover it. The pupusas were the real deal, and super tasty. I also had the tacos with chicken, which were also very, very good. The staff/manager was very friendly and welcoming, and seems to truly care about his restaurant and the patrons it serves. Will definitely return for more yumminess!
Wonderful restaurant - great food and prices. The host is wonderfully friendly, the service is fast and complete, and the food is terrific. My husband had eggs, beans and plantain with a tortilla. The plantain was perfectly ripe and cooked. My papusas were filled with cheese and veggies with great slaw. This was a great find on our travels throughout southwestern Ontario
Great food! Reasonable prices. Very fresh. Good service. The space is small and cozy, but very well kept and bright. No designated parking.

Pleasant service, great mexican food. Such a great meal at pupuseria Latinos. Lovely atmosphere. The nachos were incredible. We had chicirron pupusas and chicken tacos too. Excellent authentic Latino food. The jumex drinks were really nice. The strawberry banana one would make me come back alone. The server was under a lot of pressure so there were mistakes with some others, but our order was perfect. Will def be back here when im the kw area! Prices were very good too!
The location looks a bit sketchy and questionable. The outside looks a bit like a house.

The food was delicious.
We went as 7 people and ordered all the vegetarian items on the menu. The price was reasonable and cheap. Portions matched the price.
The service was excellent.
We are definitely going again.
The pupusa was awesome and the quesadilla and Tacos were well cooked and well prepared.

Keep It Coming!. The speed, flavors and fair price of this friendly establishment leaves you ordering plate after plate, triggering different parts of your palate. The service is great and the food speaks for itself. Pupuseria Latinos gives you quite an accurate impression of what Salvadorian grub is all about!
Went for lunch and ordered a bunch of things and split them all with a friend. So good! The pupusas were fantastic, the enchiladas we so yummy and the beef tacos were tasty. But the best part was dessert! That cake tres leches was the best way possible to finish the meal. Will be back!

Hometown eating ... if your hometown is in Central America!. Nice quiet little place. Service was a little slow, but friendly. Excellent and cheap as well. I'll be trying it again next time I'm in Kitchener.
Great home made food. I had the tacos and they were authentic Mexican! Best in town. The restaurant is small but clean and well decorated. Good value for your money. We will be going back.
Absolutely amazing! We stopped in for lunch today and had the enchilladas and the tacos as well as the pupasas(I think that's the name) and we were so impressed. The quantity was generous and the flavours were so delicious and fresh. The price was also very reasonable. We left full and happy and with a new restaurant to our list
If you blink you may miss this place. My husband and I were on our way to grab some Chinese for dinner when this restaurant caught my eye. Pupuseria Latinos is located in a house on the corner of Eby and Charles I believe. It literally looks like someone turned their living room into a restaurant. So cute! And the owners are so warm and friendly. The pupusas they make are out of this world. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the pupusa, they are a Salvadorian fast food. The best way to describe them would be like a pancake made of corn flour. They are typically filled with pulled pork and cheese and topped with a lightly brined cabbage and tomato sauce. (I've attached a photo to give you an idea) These are bar none the best pupusas I have ever had. And if you love delicious authentic Latin fair, you have to try these!
This afternoon I got to visit another of my favorite, tiny, hidden gems: Pupuseria Latinos . I just love little family run joints. You get a much more personal, authentic experience. Not to mention the satisfaction of knowing you’re supporting people who work hard for their money; putting time, energy and, best of all, heart into what they do. My main reason for swinging by the Pupuseria is for their namesake, pupusas! I just love them. My favorite, what seem to be the most common, are the Chicharrón, referring to the fried pork that they are stuffed with. Pupuseria Latinos has the most extensive list of pupusa fillings I’ve come across yet, so if you aren’t into pork, there will be something here for you. The pupusas arrived piping hot. The way I was taught to eat them, by a Salvadoran family I knew when I was younger, was to put the curtido (like vinegar based coleslaw) on top and then pour on the tomato salsa. There's a pupuseria in downtown Kitchener and this little El Salvadorian hot spot also serves some North American and Mexican items. We started by ordering our drinks. For me it was a Mexican classic...a mango jarritos (which we discovered during our visit that our 6 years old absolutely hates!)...go figure. I rather enjoyed the not too sweet flavour. We decided to order the chicken tacos and three different kinds of pupusas to share. We had the chicharron, chicharron with cheese and beans and cheese. The tacos were delicious. The food is amazing here. Authentic and fresh. Pupusas were super flavourful and the enchiladas were so good!! Definitely one of our favourite places in the KW area.
Enchilada Tostada and Birria tacos sooooo yummy. The flavours are on point. The tacos had quality yummy gooey cheese. The tostadas were crunchy and flavourful. The Birria sauce was creamy and packed a punch of flavour. The churros had sugar and icing sugar with cinnamon, the perfect crunch and soft middle. 9/10
I have dined in and ordered take out multiple times. Simply, Pupuseria Latinos is one of my favourite restaurants in the KW-region (even favourited it on Google maps). The owner is very kind and offered great service. Seating is limited but that does not stop the food from tasting delicious. I recommend their enchiladas and pupusas!
We went to Pupuseria Latinos on a weekday around evening time and it wasn’t too busy. We ordered in advance by calling and it was ready in about 15 minutes.
Initially when we first called on another day, they were so busy that they should have just said that they didn’t have the capacity to take anymore orders so we ended up going somewhere else. This wasn’t a big deal but just something to keep in mind, they’re quite busy on weekends especially.
We ordered 3 cheese pupusas and 3 chicharrón with cheese ($3.50 each with a minimum of 2 orders). We actually preferred the chicharrón with cheese but both were very good! We also got the chicken tamales ($3.99) and there wasn’t a lot of chicken and it needed a bit more flavour. I love the home atmosphere of this place and love supporting a local small business.
The staff is so sweet and the food is very reasonably priced, I definitely recommend trying out this place and I can’t wait to come back!
We're in a lockdown again and I want to do what I can to support small businesses. I have walked by this place so many times and finally decided to check them out. I ordered two pork and cheese pupusas for take out. The food was hot, delicious and so cheesy. Staff were friendly and I would definitely go back again. Thank you!
I'm from out of town and decided to try this and I'm really glad I did ! Got two papusas and a burrito and it was all phenomenally delicious and authentic. I was impressed with how quickly it was made. The service was great too. I personally prefer curtido a little sour and this didn't have any sour taste, but that's only a minor issue.
Went here for brunch and would definitely recommend! The Rancheros breakfast was AMAZING and so were the pupusa’s. Price point is good for the quantity of food that you get (dont underestimate the quantity of food).

The food is amazing. Have two tables outside. The order came out quickly. Can't wait to go back and try more dishes. The best burrito ever. Flavourful, full of fresh ingredients and without feeling greasy.
