Tried it for the first time today,
And I must say that this place is great!
Great service and great food!
Love the atmosphere!
I would definitely recommend this cafe to anyone a must try!
What a treat to have the omelette and 1/2 & 1/2 mixed potato has plus salad. I definitelywill re visit. The bottomless coffee and outdoor tables were perfect. Thank you to all the staff involved for the excellent service.
By far the best breakfast food I have ever had! Best atmosphere, staff and place. All the love :)
My favorite breakfast place! Have always enjoyed my meal, the atmosphere, the weirdness, and the coffee. No other place like it.
Had breakfast here this morning. The BEST french toast I have ever had!! And I have eaten a lot of french toast in my time. Hubby loved his buckwheat pancakes too. Coffee was yummy too.
Love the fact that they source their food locally and proudly list their suppliers/vendors on their menu.
Will definitely be back next time we're in KW.
Amazing menu, fantastic tasting food. Fresh, beautifully prepared and presented! It's very busy so sit back, enjoy the coffee and the atmosphere, it's worth the wait. You won't be disappointed!
Great place for breakfast/brunch. Our daughter's go to for vegan breakfast when we are in K-W.
Super funky place with great food and great and friendly staff! I will definitely go back the next time I'm in Kitchener!
Interesting cozy space. Friendly staff. Quality breakfast.
We went this morning and both had an incredible breakfast! Fresh local ingredients plus a perfect Latte. Staff was great and loved the entire vibe/location :)
Yeti has some delicious vegetarian grub and punk music. Great vibe.
Super groovy atmosphere and staff...excellent menu, fresh and enticing...this is the place to experience and be seen in Kitchener...LOVE IT!!!! Thank you for a great experience, I will be back!!!
By far my favourite breakfast place in Kitchener! The vibe and food are awesome!
My mom and I tried the Pregnant Cowgirl this morning for the first time. By far the best sandwich we have ever had!
A perfect addition to downtown Kitch. Great food, weirdness abounds, thoroughly inoffensive and bizarre, always met with delight and a solid cup of coffee. We all needed Yeti to exist and just didn't know it.
I go here every day no lie! Phenomenal customer service here, honestly probably one of the best staff I've encountered. Their food is to die for! Though a little pricey it's worth every penny given the quality of the ingredients and it will not be something you regret! Atmosphere of the place is also great and has a hippie-meets-hipster vibe with amazing tunes might I add. My favourite thing here has to be their Paleo Chocolate Chip Cookies, they're honestly the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had! And they're vegan and gluten free so to say they're the best is really making a statement!
Food was good, coffee was good, staff were friendly and helpful. They only offer lattes with 3% milk, and for non dairy almond milk is only available. But despite the negative "hipster" reviews that people have left, this place is good! There is a bit of a line up on Saturday, but overall, this place is amazing.
The epitome of cool. A total hipster place. It was cute. The food was done very very well. They know what they are doing. Excellent ingredients, and excellent original types of sandwiches. I had the terry Pender...grill cheese with maple bacon and apples. My wife had the pregnant sasquatch. Good prices. Really fun atmosphere. Definitely a young place. I felt old. Would def stop in again. for sure a one of a kind restaurant. Its the type of place that would feature on a food network show.
Best sandwiches in the city, bar none. We are lucky enough to live across the street from the Yeti and we love, love, love to eat here. The sandwiches are creative and delicious using locally baked organic Grainharvest bread, the coffee is amazing, and the vegan and vegetarian options are thoughtful and tasty. This place now has a cult following and for very good reason.
My dog loves it too because he always gets bacon when we're on the patio. Do yourself a favour and support a brilliant and creative local, downtown Kitchener business.
Best sandwiches in KW, no contest. I'm addicted to their VLT (with a smoky maple coconut bacon substitute that's to die for), and their collard leaf wrapped Buddha Bundle. If you want meat, their pulled pork with minted coleslaw is fabulous.
You MUST try the Cowgirl sandwich. Yeti Cafe is a hidden gem downtown Kitchener. It's tucked away beside the market on a little side street. Make sure you try their amazing Cowgirl sandwich!
Just fantastic. Good was excellent and the coffee was fresh. Atmosphere was eclectic and quirky in all the right ways and the staff was above and beyond friendly.
One of the best spots for a breakfast or lunch in town, hands down.
I'm never disappointed when I visit this charming, small-scale establishment!
I quite enjoy their bottomless coffee, and the brekkie is the perfect combination for this atmosphere.
Any option on their menu is quite tasteful!
the brekkie - over easy, bacon, hash browns and fresh fruit
Sashquash sandwhich - avocado, cheddar, tomato, slaw & greens with aioli on an artisan bun
Breakfast Burrito - roasted vegetables, black beans, slaw, scrambled eggs & cheddar in a flour tortilla and side of sour cream & chipotle salsa
One of my go-to places in town for brunch, right across from the farmer’s market so it’s perfect for a weekend! My favorite dish is the pregnant cowgirl, and their coffee is also great! The outdoor patio is cute but I highly recommend checking out the inside because their interior decoration is just super quirky, unique and cozy. They also have some cute merch!
Great coffee, nice staff. Small and cosy is one way to describe it. We snagged a table and had a good time.
Fantastic, humble spot filled with funk and kindness. The staff are exceedingly polite and the food is exceptional, especially the pregnant cowgirl.
One of my go-to cafe in town. Love their breakfast menus and coffee. Great to have this amazing place in our neighbourhood!
Excellent food and equally excellent staff. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options in addition to more standard breakfast fare. I particularly like that they source a lot of ingredients from local suppliers!
If there's one negative it's that the space is very limited and cramped inside, although that's not something that can be helped.
