I had no idea what i wanted to order and the server on the phone was so helpful :) She answered all my questions about the platters and i ended up getting a small sushi maki platter. I would definitely order from here again and make sure to ask for the servers recommendations because she had lots that sounded delicious!

Price is ok. They give you 10% discount if you pay by cash. Place is nice and cozy. Server is really nice. Limited seating capacity. Food is ok. We ordered seared tuna tataki, agedash tofu, teriyaki salmon dinner and bulgogi bento less shrimp tempura because of my shellfish allergy.

Was super happy to stumble across this place last night as a tourist. Great service and excellent levels of quality and freshness for everything we ordered. Big menu, so something for every sushi lover and reasonable pricing. All of the staff seemed very grateful for our business which is always a nice feeling. Would recommend to any locals or tourists in the area.

Sashimi not fresh. Special rolls have the thinnest pieces of fish I’ve ever seen at a sushi restaurant. Thinner than the ones you get at all you can eat places. Dated decor with dirty seats. Quality has gone down significantly in the last few years. Will not return.

Ate here on a weekend trip to Kingston. Staff was friendly, the venue is pretty nice. The sushi was good quality and pretty tasty.
Edit: Came back again since I came previously. The quality is not as good as last time.

Whenever I come here I get ramen and some rolls. Loved it each time great staff and great food. You can even request your ramen noodles be more firm than normal (as I dislike soggy noodles) Highly recommend for anyone looking for their ramen fix haha

The pork in my miso ramen was old (gone bad). I threw up a little upon eating it. It tasted off, sour, or rotten. We informed the waiter, who told the owner. We explained to the owner, who replied aggressively and rudely, showing us a box of meat saying, "Does this look rotten to you?" I replied, "I don't know, but it tastes a bit off." My girlfriend later asked if we could get a discount, maybe only $1. He refused. I used to get takeout from Sushibar Da quite often. After meeting the owner, I don't come here anymore.

This is not only the best sushi I've had in Kingston, but the best sushi I've had anywhere.
The service was fantastic, the sushi was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were huge.
Now that I've found this place I won't be going anywhere else.

We where on honey moon and we stop at Kingston for lunch at this restaurant we forgot a bag with passports and money, when we arrived to Otawa we noticed about that and we call them to report this, they tell us they will keep the bag, when we picked up the bag all the money was not in the bag, and they got angry when we ask about it, they are not honest people, we are dissapointed.

The portions of food were enormous! This is the first time I was not able to finish a bowl of noodle soup! (I had the ramen - SO good.) Everyone at my table was stuffed full when they got up from the table. Great value! Will be going back, for sure!

Love this place. For $20 You can have a small sake and ramen with a shitty tip so leave a bit more. The ramen here is outstanding and very affordable. It can get busy so plan ahead. Its my go to for noodles in Ktown.

Eat there regularly with girlfriend. Bento boxes are amazing for value especially the lunch option but Dinner Bento is nice too. Great Service and unlike some other shops they don't charge for tea.

The value at this restaurant is what makes it better than the rest of the sushi or ramen places in Kingston. I will admit, some of the ramen and sushi are unimaginative, their staples are of high quality and value! The MADUSA is delicious, visually appealing, and an amazing deal (4 separate dragon rolls for ~$20). Their ramen is tasty and plentiful, despite the fact that they do not focus in the area. Some of their rolls could use improvement, or even reinvention, I believe their quality and value definitely reign supreme, and I never hesitate to order from Sushibar Da, whether it's a lazy takeout order or a celebratory in house dinner.

Enjoyed the sushi and their special rolls. Nice location and atmosphere. Â Very VERY slow service though. We waited so long for someone even to come by and take our orders, fill drinks, and actual food took a while too.. aside from that a decent dining experience.

One of the finest sushi places in town!!!. I am a big foodie and love to try different styles of cuisines.And i love sushi.I had come to sushibar da thru a social meetup programme.And initially i was reluctant because i hadnt heard of the place.But once i ordered and saw the presentation,tasted the fresh yet delicious sushi i was surprised.Its a fusion of sushi and i will definitely be going back alot more often and recommending sushibar da.<br/>They have great interior, excellent and effecient staff and chefs that know their job.<br/>7stars from me!

I can't wait to go back again. The waitress last night was excellent, everything was fresh, affordable and great music...not too loud.<br/>The white house win was much lower in price than other nearby restaurants, and a large amount.<br/>For 20.00 dollars I had soup, salad, wine (2 glasses) a generous plate of sushi and a light dessert of fruit and chocolate...a great night.

SO GOOOOD. I've lived in Kingston for over nine years and I've tried multiple sushi restaurants: this one is my favourite. The service was amazing, the sushi was artistic and delicious and don't even get me started on the ramen! Not to mention it is actually better priced then most popular sushi places in Kingston. They are also big on complementary treats like strawberries and blackberries in chocolate sauce. They are my new go-to sushi place!
