Addicted ... Gyu don and Bibimbap are amazing The waitress always remembers us and encourages my daughter in her studying Korean. Have not had anything off the menu that was not delicious and some of the sushi dishes look like works of art
It has been our Sushi place for a long time, Service has been excellent, they are very nice people and the food always fresh and very good and for the price well Done.
We had planned on going to another restaurant but it was full. We chose Ta-Ke-Sushi for our meal and we are glad we did! Wonderful polite staff and prompt service, and the food was excellent.

My husband and I love this place. And Samsoul (the waitress) even remembered us from the other two visits, and what we even ordered on the menu.
Like to come here on my lunch break for some great comfort food. Especially enjoy the soondobu!
I enjoyed great service, excellent fresh sushi. Will defiantly return.
Best place for dinner in Kingston. We have dinner there everytime we go to Kingston.
You MUST have eat here. Always great.
Absolutely the most amazing Korean food since Toronto! Way to go! Thank you so much for not holding back on the Tai chillies!!!
Ta-ke is a pretty solid sushi restaurant in Kingston, it isn't the best in the town but it does deliver consistent quality. The sushi boats are a good deal and come with a candle (exciting!). There are a variety of rolls and makis, which are pretty standard and decent for price. Overall, would come again once in awhile but for fresh, better tasting sushi would rather go to Kame or Sima.

Beautifully fresh food. Best sushi!!
It was really great!! Good service and friendly staff! Fresh and delicious sushi :)
My daughter and I ordered takeout this evening. I was delighted by the ramyn soup with egg drop. It was so comforting and paired perfectly with a bottle of cold sake to go. My daughter said the shrimp tempura was the best she has had. The service was also lovely. A great experience!
Food was tasty, rolls were large between 8-10 pieces per roll.
This is a great place. I usually eat-in for authentic Korean dishes and get Sushi for take-out - both of these are always very good! I am very excited at being able to get delicious "Gamjatang" / Pork Bone soup in Kingston, and it always tastes "just like in Korea". It's also nice that they have Sapporo on tap, which always goes well with Korean and Japanese food. Cheers!
That's not to say the sushi isn't good -- it is. Usually. But it can be quite a crapshoot, to the point I stopped bothering with the sushi long ago. One day it's amazing, the next the rice is undercooked and warm (and has partially cooked the fish!).My favourite is the soon tofu, a classic stew that is divine... I used to get this at least once a week when I lived and worked down the street. When I return to visit, I always try to get a bowl.
Today I had the pleasure of coming back for lunch. What I had found is the decor of the inside basically was exactly the same as when I was there 7 years ago! Skip to the sushi. On this occasion I had the sushi-sashimi lunch special. My wife had the bulgogi lunch special. Flavour was okay but the rice tasted like it needed some more seasoning.
Food was great but the service was even better! The servers were by far, the friendliest we've encountered during our weeklong stay in Kingston. These two young ladies would be great examples of good customer service for the servers of the other restaurants we've visited this week.
