Hot, fast, fresh. I've been meeting my friends at Star Diner for years - good, hot, fast, fresh food at a great price. Ida May owns and runs the place to make her guests feel right at home. I see that the servers work together so well they're even starting to "poach" veteran servers from other restaurants in town.
Friendly. I would recommend this diner to everyone, friendly staff, a breakfast that will last all day, and at a price that you can afford!
Amazing experience!! Wonderful customer service! The staff is very courteous! And the food is amazing!! The Oscar Burger is a must try!! Very reasonable in pricing too!! Will visit again for sure!! Cheers!!
We love to pop in for breakfast, any time of day. Its quick, made to order and delicious! Its local, its fun, and very reasonably priced.
I also suggest you try the chocolate peanut butter shake!!! Yummm!!!!
A very “diner” experience. Hash browns were exactly what you’d expect, in the best way. Lots of meat and gravy on the hot sandwich. Affordable and enjoyable if you’re looking for diner food.
My wife and I and our two grandsons quite enjoyed our late afternoon snack at the Star Diner. The boys each had a milkshake so large they struggled to finish it. Their grandparents shared a delicious, toasted tuna sandwich.
The Star Diner deserves its name. It's like a diner from the 1950s with logos, several booths and pictures of celebrities from that period. There was a long line of stools to sit on. While the Diner took credit cards, it was a dial-up service.
The service was friendly and efficient and it was pleasant to be able to watch the chef at work. We look forward to coming back for lunch.
The best omelette I've ever had. The Tomato and Feta is amazing. The home fries are the best around. Love goes into the food here. 5 out of 5 all day. Staff are friendly and courteous. I will be back for sure.
I have had the pleasure of eating at this diner before and was thoroughly impressed with the food, service and atmosphere....., however, I was there today with my friend and my step daughter and I have never in my entire life seen someone so rude and disrespectful to their coworker. We went to the diner at approximately 3pm on Sunday March 31st 2019 and the camo wearing, alien framed , puke kid that was cooking was berating the lovely waitress we had and loudly proclaiming that she was NOT doing her job, and if she would just do her job everything would be fine..
Great lesson for my son that independents can provide great service and home cooking for a good value. Thanks for knowing about Celiac disease. Been a while since I could enjoy some home fries with my breakfast. Decor provided lots of conversation with our kids about the two past. Thanks again. Highly recommended.
