We stopped by for a late lunch. The selection of draft beers and cocktails is extensive. The portions are healthy, the loaded fries and burgers are delicious. They were great about accommodating our requests to customize our order.

The best bar in Kingston. We are a group of friends who want to explore different bars. Every where we want , made us sure that Merchant is the best. Staff are super friendly and welcoming all the time. The price is reasonable and the music is just awesome. We are deciding to make MERCHANT, our official hangout castle :)

We had the poutine and Tahini salad, both were very good. The location is right down by the water and we had a table in shady spot outdoors under the trees. A welcome respite from this heat

If you are looking for a sunny patio in the afternoons, this is a place to try... though I'm not always sure about the beer. We ordered two Red Fox and this did not look like or taste like Red Fox, we asked our server, she brought us a new one, same thing, we even asked about the keg. In the end we paid our tab and left without finishing the beer.

The Merchant is a 5 star for sure! The food is amazing, the drinks are even better, and the staff is phenomenal. The patio in the summer time is spacious, and lots of shade. Kayla is the best bartender and server, highly recommend ordering from her as she is fast, thorough, and a total gem of a human being. 10/10 for The Merch!

The new nachos are amazing! I was hesitant because they don't have cheese, but they are UNREAL. The patio is beautiful and the staff was very friendly. Our go-to patio for great nights!

Love it! Service was great. Food was fabulous. I ordered the ruebon sandwich on rye. To die for! Sat in the patio section and we enjoyed our dinner. Would highly recommend the Merchant. Did not disappoint. Thank you!

I had the figurehead burger and I found my new burger. STRONGLY recommend getting if your a burger person. Didn't even need ketchup or mustard. There homemade bacon marmalade and Chipotle is to die for. 5 star rating!

The Merchant is one of my favourite places to go. The menu has really changed and the food is great. The staff are fantastic. I have to agree with a lot of these comments that the 40 Creek Burger is amazing. The Merchant is a great place to hang out and listen to some great live music.

I have been in there a lot of times and without fail I receive the best service and the cleanest draft beer in Kingston. I tried to rate it a 6/5 but it wouldn't let me. I have used it for large cater type functions and couldn't have been more confident that my guests would leave happy.

The Merchant food is excellent. Try the nachos or wings ! Live music Friday and Saturday nights. Always a full house and good time. Highly recommend The Merchant for your first and last stop when out on a weekend. This has to be the most lively pub you will hit downtown Kingston. The summer patio is in the heart of downtown. Great location for a night out weather you are a K town resident or visiting. Cheers

I honestly think I had the tasty meal of my life. The Shiraz chicken with vegetables and potato was SOOO full of flavour, melt in your mouth meat and a big portion, which I always love!
And holy 💩, the chocolate Guinness cake... unreal 😍I think it was Natasha who looked after us and look after us she did! Brilliant live band, the place started to fill up as the night went on and we had a brilliant time 😊 I would 100% recommend 👍🏻

Great service from Yvonne, thank you! Huge tasty portions. We had the Nachos, Spaghetti and Meatballs, Guinness French Onion Soup and Onion Rings. There were three of us and the portions could've fed another 2 people. Great selection of beers to boot! We will be back again!

Had dinner before Riverdance last night and it was DELICIOUS. Service was amazing and fast. My Mom had The Hipster salad and I had the Mac and Cheese (Oh my word). Would highly recommend The Merchant. Not our first visit and definitely won't be our last :D

A little old and dingy and that's just how I like my pubs. Some of the biggest wood beams I have ever seen in a historical building. Very cool setting.
