Review Coffee And Company - Kingston

Awesome ambience and great tasting speaciality coffees. Loved it The customer experience was luxurious ❤️ It's a bit sad I cant stay for more than an hour. Probably because of covid and stuff.

Perfect location from the hotels for a nice walk to a coffee shop. Selection of coffee, tea and espresso drinks along with sandwiches and pastries. This place will also delight a sweet tooth.

It's a very clean and organized shop. We were just in the area looking for a coffee and the store front was very inviting. We got an iced black coffee, cappuccino, and scone. The coffee was decent, albeit overpriced. The scone was nice and warm.

A great place to meet a friend or get some work done for a variety of delicious hot beverages and mouthwatering treats. It's the perfect spot to observe the goings on of downtown Kingston, as it is located on the corner of Princess and King streets. The staff are kind and the atmosphere is good for conversation or that perfect white noise to write or study.

Delicious coffee ! Delicious sandwiches. My partner and I got the turkey and cheese croissant and ham and cheese croissant, very very yummy. We ordered from Uber eats, the coffee doesn’t have an option for adding milk or sugar, so make sure you put what you want in the special instructions. Maybe the company can update the app to add the ability to choose for extra sugars and milk etc. Otherwise thank you!

Had their green tea mango smoothie on a scorcher of a day! It hit the spot. Great ambiance, lovely terrasse (in the shade), and wonderful service.

Long-time Kingston fav! Been coming here since I worked downtown 20 years ago. Great coffee, amazing snacks, lovely space, and friendly staff.

The good thing about this place is the corner window where you can catch the best view and coffee of course is so good here, had a nice coffee as per my american tastes 😄

The best loose tea!! Very addictive! Staff is always so lovely.

Best coffee shop in downtown Kingston, locally owned with excellent customer service and the best tea (I don't drink coffee). Now, featuring homemade ice cream!

Locally baked goodies, perfect location, great big bright sitting area, and some of the prettiest baristas in Kingston. I'm looking at you George. But seriously this is Kingston's coffee shop. Crave is great but it belongs to the students. Starbucks has turned into McDonalds. If you live in Kingston you go to Coffee and Company because it's where you belong, in the best possible sense.

Sehr lecker und auch saubere und moderne Toiletten. Da macht man gerne Pause.

Friendly staff who are passionate about coffee and know their stuff. The Voltaire is a personal favourite, twice as much chocolate as a regular mocha - yum!

You know how when you're stressed, people tell you "Go to your Happy Place"? Well, this is literally my Happy Place. Great coffee, great service, very friendly, and with an open and welcoming atmosphere. Also, it's true, Cameron is a cutie.

Great coffee and amazing service! Also Cameron is a cutie. <3

Coffee and Co is a nice place to study or just chill. It has nice arm chairs and with the addition of White Mountain ice cream - this is my go to place in Kingston. However, one thing I dislike is that there are no outlets.

In terms of the coffee, the cappuccino I had today was strong (but I like strong) and the foam was done well.

SAD & WASTE OF MONEY. Went to Coffee & Company Saturday night and it was empty! Every other cafe or restaurant in the area was packed with the local blues fest happening except this place...Now we know why (besides their already poor reviews on here)...

First, the staff seemed more interested in talking to each other than us. Our drinks (mocha and latte) were okay at best, but something I would at expect at McDonald's not a cafe. The place was clean but that might have been because no one was there. However, the place seemed unorganized with tables and chairs thrown around and no real ambiance. The factory-nade ice cream counter jammed into it did not help (not even the tourists seemed to want any) and the Wi fi got shut off early or just stopped working altogether. WORST PART: It seemed like the staff don't want anyone staying long, which might explain the lack of customers.

We were happy today in Kingston, as we were fortunate to find two different, but very nice cafes...The Common Market and Coffeeco just down the street. Much better and full.

WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY. After my last visit to this "cafe", I will not be going back. Not only have they changed it into some sort of pseudo-Tim Horton's-style fast-food coffee and ice cream place, but the service is now even worse. Rude and obnoxious, save for one or two girls that work there...

I also have heard from several former staff and customers that they will substitute regular coffee for espresso in lattes when they run out of the latter! Completely unacceptable and deceiving, and would explain why a past latte was so weak tasting. And the owner supposedly cuts the wi-fi off without announcing it so he can kick people out if he thinks they are "staying too long." Well, why have "FREE WI-FI" if you don't want them using it???!!! Why not at least tell people you are about to do it rather than rudely doing it when they are in the middle of work or communications? Very sneaky and sleazy.

Don't waste your time or money at this place...Much better cafes in Kingston now that do not play these sorts of games.

Checks & Balances. We just visited the newly renovated Coffee & Company and unfortunately we were left very disappointed. As long-term customers, this was not expected.

1) The renovations have made the place worse. Now it seems more like a cheesy franchise than a proper coffee shop. Big Tim Horton's-style screens, overbearing ice cream bar, messy, etc.

2) We had a grey-haired gentleman, who was dressed very unprofessionally, my, suddenly remove a table we were using for a large group that came in. At first we thought he was a customer, but then realized he worked there. While I realize we all need to share tables when busy, this gentleman gave no chance to hear our response when he "asked" if he could move the table. He pulled our stuff of it and slammed it into the shopping bags we had without apologizing. Worst part was there was a free table nearby he could have taken without interrupting us. Did we not buy enough from "his" cafe? Or was it because the group seemed to be friends of his? Very unprofessional for sure, but judging by his dress and lack of service demeanor, maybe expected.

Like most of the regulars who have seem to disappear from this place after the renovations (the place just looks cheesy and cheap now), we probably won't be back. There are better, more professionally run cafes in Kingston.

Excellent Lattes and Cafe Mochas. I had been to this cafe before and loved it for it multitude of tables and chairs, free wifi and great music...not to mention excellent cafe mocha. It was my husband's first time and he ordered the cafe voltaire...and was not dissapointed. I ordered a chai latte and was very happy with it. We tried another place (Mugs and Truffle) but ended up coming back to Coffee and Company. Also tried their Green Tea and Mango Frappe - superb! A must for those looking to get a break from the hustle bustle of downtown Princess Street.

Good location, prices and ambiance. Has free Wifi and staff often have free biscotti out for patrons to try. No issues with the quality of coffee/espresso.
Espresso Lover
Coffee and company. The ambiance of the place is nice. Unfortunately, they are not fussy about the coffee that is served. I was told that it is not uncommon that they use their strong brew (regular coffee) in place of espresso when they have run out of espresso, or just don't feel like making it. This was in response to my question asking why my latte with an extra shot seemed so variable in taste; sometimes good but occasionally really NOT good. I won't be going back.

Kingston is a cute little town, but honestly there's not much to do, especially on a snowy weekend. Mona and I recently went to visit Alexa for a weekend and, in the absen ce of activities, w e ended up eating all the time! I swear, t here was not a moment during those two days that I felt hungry! We started the day at Tommy's, a 24-h our retro-style diner for a delicious greasy breakfast ! Every university is in need of a place like this! Mona's G uinness pulled pork omelette ($8.99) , served with toast and home fries. Alexa's breakfast quesadilla ( $7.99)

Overall, Coffee and Company is a great place to spend a few hours working on a paper (or grand rounds in my case). Free Internet + many tables + cozy atmosphere = great place for students.
