Review Tang Dynasty Hotpot - Kelowna

I love this restraunt that I ever seen in Kelowna. First, there are three rounds of the meat, but after 2 rounds we just finished. Both of the quantity and the quality makes me really enjoyed. By the way, the Landmark is right beside, if not eating the hot pot, just have some rice or noodles for "Before-movie-meal" is also a nice choice. Therefore, this is a really nice restraunt.

For people like real Chinese Food, that's the place to go. Ordered soysause chicken on rice and that's my plate. Here is no buffet food. Owner is pretty nice. Bon appetite!

Probably the BEST hot pot in Kelowna! The all you can eat factor at this restaurant is fantastic and they give you 2 rounds for all the veggies and 3 rounds for meat! They have a good selection of food to choose from and the price for all you can eat is very worthwhile; you definitely leave stuffed. The quality was also surprisingly excellent, unlike many other standalone hot pot restaurants. In addition to hot pot they have other entrees, and bubble tea which was fantastic. I would say overall, this place was a 10/10 and I would definitely go there again.

Fantastic place that more people need to know. I love hot pot, but not all my friends know how to eat hot pot or what is it. I would recommend the restaurant provide some "how to" menu with pictures. The amount of different sauces are great, but will be confusing for people that never experienced hot pot. I would recommend a post at the sauce station "Please let us help if you don't know how to mix the sauces", and then staff can give some recommendation based on clients preference. A signage saying "Chinese Fondue" will also help.

Very nice place but we were a little disappointed in the food initially. One of our dishes was subpar and we did have to send it back. That being said the service was absolutely outstanding. They were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. When we did mention we didn't like on of our dishes they were quick to fix it and went above and beyond for us. I would love to go back and try more of their food as I can only assume it was a one time thing and give them the benefit of the doubt. I would also recommend going here on the service quality alone. I think our experience was a rare one and I think it is worth trying out.

Great place for family. REALLY AMAZING! It's a hotpot place and it's all you can eat for 25$. I really recommend it for big social gatherings. I like it over the pub next door for big groups as it's far more fun and interactive. They sell beer and craft so many kinds of bubble tea, the choice list was extensive. Lots of beef and you can try a little bit of everything! The owner was amazing and insanely nice. I'd recommend wednesdays as the best time to go as you have more more room but anytime is great. 10/10

The staff are welcoming and the food is great! Awesome place to go if you have never tried Hot Pot! Just make sure you give yourself lots of time, because the hot pot style is eating slowly. The average time of hot pot is two hours.

How it works: $25 (per person) Hotpot combo comes with the soup base, three rounds of meat choices (two meats per round), and two rounds of other soup ingredients (no per round limit indicated) such as veggies (bok choy, spinach, potatoes, carrots, mushrooms), noodles, and fish balls. You mark your first round of items on the ordering sheet and give it to the server. They bring a hot plate and pot of broth to your table (already boiling) and then your soup ingredients begin to arrive and you add them to the broth to cook. There is a sauce station where you mix together whatever you want to dip the items from the hot pot in (sesame sauce/peanut sauce / spicy sauce etc). Experience: It was fun, and I would go again. The food was good and it was a very relaxed eating experience (took about 2 hours). Service overall was good but not amazing. The one star reviews made me nervous but I can definitely say that my experience was a positive one.

Cannot believe how good the hotpot is! Me and my friends are visiting from Calgary and surprisingly found this restaurant in town, staffs are friendly and food quality is great, the spicy sauce, OMG, almost tryna to convince owner to move to Calgary!!! If you wanna try authentic hotpot, you gotta try this one in town!

Definitely worth a try!!! Family run (even the young daughter serves lol), super kind, and AWESOME food! $25 all you can eat hot pot. Other menu items as well. Facility is a little run down (former Poppadoms location, no updates to interior and bathroom stall out of order), and that’s really the only downside. Will definitely go back - only hot pot in Kelowna! Debit/Cash only

Wow! What a neat experience once you have an idea of what you are doing and what a hot pot is. So good! You pick your style of broth, select your veggies, meat, etc from a list. Just ask for help if you don't understand, they are more than happy to explain and show you. Loved the cultural experience!! Yum!

Authentic Chinese hotpot found in Kelowna!! Can't believe it! Owners were very nice and we had our hotpot with bubble tea! Good prices and selection and nice broth. Coming from Asia to LA then Vancouver and finally here, can't believe we've found a piece of home right in Kelowna! I'm vegetarian and there were plenty of options. Not sure what the bad reviews are about, the prices are great and this is how you hot pot. Will make sure to come back whenever in Kelowna!!
