Good service from Kat. Good menu items. Good "house" pizza, $3 off on Thursday. View of ice rink from bar / grill. Very dark warehouse atmosphere with lots of TV's to watch sports.

Great service and classic pub style food. They are kid friendly as well which is handy when we are at CNC for our sons hockey and we want to grab a quick bite. They always have good food specials as well.

Great sports bar rght beside cnc lots of tvs going but you might get to watch some live hockey too

Boomers is a fun place to hit after kids soccer games. The staff is friendly, the menu is good, and there is usually a seat available. After soccer and hockey at the rink, it's nice to have some wings and hang out! Recommend if you hit the CNC or H2O.

We love Boomers as a family!!! It accommodates us rink moms who want to have a nice warm place to socialize and munch while the kids are skating. We love All the staff and we always are served with a warm greeting when we arrive!! Great atmosphere and food for the whole family!! My fave is the pizza!!! One of the best in the Mission.

This place is pure Canada. It has a hockey rink attached so you can watch skating or a game live as you are eating or enjoying a beverage. They also have many different screens to watch hockey or other games. The food is well proportioned and priced well. All in it's great old time fun. The service is first rate quick and I can tell they actually care about each customer. Good for kids and grandparents this is a solid hang out if you live nearby check it out.

Great food and the service was awesome as well. The waitress came by several times to check on us and see if we needed anything. Nice neighbourhood sports bar. We went for a nice walk and came here for a bite to eat afterwards. It was great! We will be back.

Lots of space watch hockey on the rink or your favourite sports game on tv. The staff is friendly, the food is good especially their pizza. Special today was a burger fries and beer for ten bucks can't beat that! There is a side over the rail that is family friendly.

Wonderful place! Tons of room! Able to watch live hockey on the rinks next door through giant glass windows so you dont have to be cold! Typical pub food but one of the few places where you can choose to have breaded or non breaded wings!. Will definately come back for more cheap beer!

Great pub food, not always fast service. The wings are amazing every time. They are so good at accommodating the hockey crew. Lots of space for big groups.

Bomb diggity! Servers are top knotch, they can handle a packed room, bartenders kick ass and food is a great bang for your buck!

I like the food (mostly go for the dill pickle wings) and the specials but the head server there is absolutely horrible and has zero people skills.

Always a great place to chill out after playing a game. The food is great and the prices are beyond reasonable. For true regulars they always treat you like family and often the waitresses have your order memorized so they know what you want before you even sit down. Anytime we are in the mission Boomers is always our first choice!

Boomers has improved overall since a couple incidents in past. But pretty good for keeping up with the current games on and pizzas are one of best in town.

Food is awesome! Staff is awesome!! Love calling this place my local watering hole.

Nice location. We often visit while the kids are in practice. The wings are great. Service is not. We’ve had great food and not so great food. Rice bowl and steak sandwich are yummy. Fish tacos and schnitzel burger not so great. We’ve been impressed and unimpressed. However we will go back. We will stick to the simple menu items! <br/>

Just awful!. My husband and I are new to Kelowna and we decided to give Boomers a try because we live just down the street. The service was atrocious. We asked for a menu, and our server just glared at us and she never even came back to see what we wanted. Our drinks were empty for most of the evening and when we looked around the room, our server was nowhere to be found. When I went to the washroom, she was sitting on the kitchen line with 3 other servers (right where they prepare your food... so suddenly we were glad she never came back to take our food order) and they were all on their phones. When she finally did come back my husband asked her if they were able to make an apple pie shot and she rolled her eyes, glared at us again and replied yes with attitude. My husband and I have been in the industry for many years ourselves and never have we seen such bad service. We got our bill and the name at the top was Tracy A and I have just a few words of advice for her: if you don't like being a server, don't be one. The only exceptional part of the evening was the young lady who was clearing glasses and actually working. I almost asked our server if she would give the tip we left to the other girl because she deserved it more. We will never be back.

Dont waste your money. Servers are beyond rude. no smiles. no name. no order taking will make them big tips. not cleaning and hanging in the back were everyone can see them on there phones is what we want. wont be back.....ps no manager on premise to even approach......no professionalism or customer service.....thank you boomers for reminding me i can cook and have drinks with company at home for cheaper.

Not bad service... NO service. Visited on Nov 23 at about 12:30, with my family (2 adults, 2 kids).<br/><br/>I had heard many recent radio ads about Boomers proclaiming it as a great place for the family, kids included. On visiting, it appears there are only a few tables where minors can sit, which was a surprise based on the radio ads, but whatever, it's OK.<br/><br/>What wasn't OK was us sitting for at least 10 minutes without any recognition or acknowledgment by any staff. If the place was really busy, that might be excusable (though really, even then, we would expect at least a quick "Hi folks, be with you ASAP"), but it wasn't busy... there was 6 or 7 tables seated beyond ours, and maybe 3 people at the bar.<br/><br/>We sat for 10 minutes, occasionally trying to make eye contact with the server or bartender, but no luck. Staff, on more than one occasion, walked right past our table to get to their station where (I think) their menus are (our table was the closest family table to the bar), but no one so much as looked at us.<br/><br/>After 10 minutes, with 2 hungry kids, we got up and left. I took my time leaving, and stood at the door for a few moments, hoping staff would notice the people getting up from a table and walking out the door, and I could then tell them why we were leaving... but no one noticed that either, and I was only willing to stand there like a dummy so long, so finally just shook my head and went to a different restaurant where we were served promptly and professionally.

Clean your own table? Whaaaat!!??. A group of us decided to check out Boomers last night. The place was quite full, we sat at an open table and noticed it wasn't wiped down so we asked the server KINDLY if she can quickly wipe it down (After it took her some time to approach us)....She said, "sure" with attitude and walked away. A few minutes later she came back with a towel, wiped one side of the table (bad attitude was still present)....and dropped the towel on the otherside and asked my friend to wipe the rest of the table. I've worked in the hospitality industry for more than 5 years now and I have never witnessed such bad customer service and nor have I ever seen a server throw a towel down and ask a customer to wipe the table. Needless to say, we said, "no" to wiping the table, and left. Disappointing to say we didn't get to try the food nor will we be returning.

The worst service I have ever had. I come here often to watch my boyfriend play hockey and it will take 25 minutes for a waitress to come to the table. I've had to flag someone down from across the restaurant after 25 minutes just to get a menu and the table cleared from the previous guests and on other occasions I've had to go to the bar to get the waitresses attention. Disgusting Service.

Service - Awful. EVERY week we go here as a team! <br/>EVERY week we get the same BAD service!<br/><br/>In fact, we have had to go to the Bartender ourselves, and order our own jug of beer. Then we have to go BACK to the Bartender to get a 2nd/ 3rd jug of beer. And IF we call the server over - she sometimes says "oh, I didn't see you" -- Seriously - you didn't see the 8 of us sitting here for 15 minutes with nothing on our table??!!!<br/>We joke about it now because we KNOW how bad the service is! And we laugh about it and even sometimes pull out our stop watches to see how long it will be THIS TIME! But it's getting old!<br/>The girl is nice but she hasn't got a clue on how to be quick and efficient. <br/>Every week (Tuesday nights) we get the same girl; and the same LAME service. She has yet to remember what anyone of us orders on a regular, weekly basis. <br/>However the girls that do all the clearing and running around are very efficient and friendly ... and they are the reason this place actually can function! For some reason the runners don't/cannot serve us the alcohol?! They have to call the Server over to do it. What's up with that!? <br/><br/>We continue to go there because we all play sports there and want to hang out with our friends after the game. <br/><br/>And because of that, and ONLY that, do we continue to come back.

UP - Good selection of food on the menu and a decent range of beers to pick from. Lots of TVs to catch the game or watch your buddys at ice level.<br/><br/>DOWN - Seating can get a bit sparse on big games, but that's a good sign right?<br/><br/>OUT - Never really had a bad experience here!

In response to Mr Preen's review. As the General Manager of Boomer's it is disturbing to view your comments. Thank you and rest assured immediate action has been taken to determine how and why this could've happened?

Dog in kitchen!. I did not like that a dog was in and out of their kitchen three times and when I alerted our server I was just asked if I do not like dogs!!! ??? Wow! love dogs, just not in kitchen, yes? Why was dog even present??? So we have not returned and was a once every couple weeks place to go for us last summer and years before. Management did not care to know!

The wings there are so small but for 30 cents I guess it's ok. Had one great sever. Our buser was very grumpy though.

First time in Boomers. Very friendly staff, and fast service. I had a chicken rice bowl and it was fine, nothing amazing - lots of veggies. The other dinner was pepperoni mushroom pizza. It was really good pizza! Dough was excellent flavor sauce was yummy. Definitely going back for pizza again!

Sevice. I went to Boomer's pub after I finished playing hockey at the CNC for a beer with some teammates. Our server was happy and was good until it came time for the bills.... she informed us since the total was "so little" that she was going to put it on one bill. She left the bill and as my teammates left they left their share of the bill. After subtracting the cash left, my total came to some thing like $10.12. I left her a $2.00 (20%) which I thought was sufficient for having a few beers. She then informed me of how little that was and asked for a better tip! She wouldn't stop complaining so my friend put down an extra $4.00 to get her off her back. It was very sneaky how she tried to get a better tip by putting the bill for the table (of 12) together. I have worked in the service industry and actions like these would have led to your dismissal. I have been to this pub multiple times, hoping it would improve, but it has just gotten worse. Mediocre food and rude service. Thumbs down.

Mr. Preen.... I fully agree that Dog's should not be in a food establishments, however...to say the management doesn't care is an untrue statement.<br/><br/>If you look closely at Mr.Preen's reviews on several establishments, he rarely has anything positive to say about any of them. By all means stay away from the places on your 'list' Judging by the amount of places he visits in Kelowna, he will be dining only at home...<br/><br/><br/>-----02 Aug, 2012-----<br/><br/>Good Stuff. Went there during the Rockets Alumni game. Sat outside in the patio.. The food is as cheap as you'll find. And the quality is great. The cheapest beer in town and the best TV setup of any pub in Kelowna. Highly recommended. Only thing they should change is add a few new menu items and bring back the fajitas

Stopped by for lunch today, very reasonable prices, excellent food (possibly the best calimari I've had), friendly service, who could ask for more? Busy during the winter, but quiet during the summer. Convenient for after H2O!

Decent food, great place to grab a beer and watch the game

Awesome For The Game. Great place to meet for the game. One of the cheapest pints of beer in town with a big selection to pick from. Service is pretty good, maybe a tad slow but the pizzas make up for it. Monday nights, you get a burger and beer for $8, i cant eat even get mcdonalds for that cheap.

I liked it.. I go to Boomers all the time. It has 12 big HDTV's. The staff is friendly. The food is good and reasonably priced. The bartender is even nice enough to put the Blackhawks games on for me. I highly recommend the pizza. GO BOOMERS

Good for wings and a game only!. I wouldn't recommend getting any main meals at this restaurant but it is a great place for some lemon pepper, salt n pepper or hot wings. Good place to take in a big game. I spent most of the Vancouver Olympics at this bar as it is the only place everyone can see as there are many screens.<br/>While I agree with the other comments about the food, the pizza is good but I like to stick with appys.<br/><br/>Usually busy at the bar which is why there is slower service. Was just there this past weekend and the service was good until our waitress had to leave. The other waitress that took us over was terrible. If you get a bad waitress just order more at one go.

Disappointment. One of the worst restaurants in Kelowna. The food was horrible and the service was even worse. I ordered the boomers chicken bigger burger with sweet potato fries and and iced tea. By the time our meals came my ice tea was empty and the waitress gave us our meals and quickly left without asking if we would like any refills on our drinks. The burger was sloppy with a massive amount of mustard, dried up tomato slices, onions, and old lettuce that was clearly old and wilted. My sweet potato fries were cold and did not come with the dipping sauce they were supposed to come with. When I finally got the attention of the waitress for the sauce she didn't seem to care much at all about how we were doing and the quality of the food. I would be incredibly embarrassed if I were the owner or chef. It was a great disappointment and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Terrible service took over an hour to get our food, and all I got was nachos! Worst nachos! ever burnt cheese with pretty much nothing on them what a joke! Never going back
