Review Chinese Laundry Restaurant - Kelowna

L C
An absolutely fantastic and very authentic place for szechuan and Cantonese. The authenticity is the best part. From the friendly and very thick accented man who takes your order and cooks your food, to the small, family atmosphere. It really does feel so personable and delicious. Reminds me of my hometown Chinese place. Like home cooked but with a refined flair and high quality ingredients. The menu is not too massive but quite big and everything on there is delicious, albeit overpriced IMO.

I've been eating here for over 20 years. They always know by me or my familys orders who is calling and that adds a lovely personal touch. The food is everyhing you want in Chinese dining: lots of options, authenticity, and tasty! Prices have gone up in the last few years, but thats to be expected.

War Wonton, Wonton and Chicken Balls are top notch from this place!!! Best Wonton soup I've ever had! And the chicken was amazing! So much flavor and juicy.

Best war wonton soup I've ever had. I have been on the hunt for the best wonton soup and found it here. Didn't give 5 stars because they don't serve alcohol.

Certainly not fancy, but the takeout is always hot and tasty. If you're looking for the basics, can't go wrong. And the older couple that run it are sweet.

I was a bit leary of ordering because of the reviews I read but took the chance and was pleased I did! Order showed up quickly, hot and fresh! I ordered dinner for 4, no modifications.

Enjoyed the meal. Dinner combos give a good variety of choices. More than enough food for everyone.
