I love it here. Everytime I come in the owner is the nicest asks how my day was and Is super chatty and makes u feel more than just a paying customer, great food, great staff and a great friendly owner which you don't see much of that involvement normally at places which makes this place stand out �. If you have not tired the donair fries omg!! You must try them they are amazing!! I am going to have to try the poutine next time im in!!
I may or may not go into this establishment a bit tipsy at times but the staff always deals with us drunk people greatly haha!! Keep up the great work. One of my fave stops downtown!!

I was having a really bad day, so I thought I'd treat myself. Thought this place looked interesting.
When I came in, I was asked, "How are you today?"
I replied with a tired, "Miserable."
The guy, the owner, smiled and said, "Well, I'm going to make your day!"
He told me about his food, as I'd never had a donair before, and he talked about how fresh his ingredients were. He gave me a sample of his sauces, so I could see what I liked. He was quick in getting me set up with a donair FILLED with chicken! Most places are veggies with a little bit of meat. THIS place is meat with a little bit of veggies! You're really getting what you pay for here!
He made sure I knew how to eat it, and he was incredibly accommodating and friendly. It was wonderful to talk to him, and when I started eating the donair, I was in love! I pay that much for a footlong at Subway, and I get a little scrap of meat with messy veggie and a ton of flat, unappetizing bread. But, here? I got a GREAT donair, basically a wrap in a pita, with LOTS of succulent meat, fresh veggies, and sauces that were fresh and flavourful!
I have officially taken Subway off my menu and put Subcity Donair in its place for my favourite places for subs/wraps.
These guys are great, whenever i stop in at the downtown location they greet me by name, and make me feel like more than a paying customer but really like a member of their family. Food is top notch!

I ordered veggie fries on Monday and the fries were so awesome. Customer service by Nav is excellent. I really recommend her. She’s a gem for the store. She definitely deserves a raise.
Absolutely adore this place; the food is always fresh, great falafel, the seasoned fries are the best… but the staff is what keeps me coming back! The young lady that works during the week is always so inviting, sweet and always asks me how my day is going. I’ve seen her super hard and efficient when the students bombard the place. She is a true gem, and is deserving of all the tips!
I just had my veg fries from this place today. And i can surely say that it was the best fries i have ever had. I even love the way she made my fries:) with love and patience . Such a worthy and yummy experience.

The staff and the owners are always so pleasant to deal with, and the produce always looks and tastes fresh. Donairs are excellent for the price point, and filling. I have never been disappointed after visiting here, and look forward to my next visit.
Really good service. May 28th we had 19:30am snack and the Donair and poutine was awesome. Really yummy sauces . It felt like a valued client
There is a holiday offer that gifts you a free can of drink where you write a review. (I am a repeat customer but normally I don't write reviews.)
The employees are nice and occasionally make small talk (not necessary for 5 star), you get a discount if you are a college student. The donair is good, consider as a college student I am mostly eating pre-prepped food.
However, the cons is I felt the yam fries (which loses 1 star), although great, are overpriced. For like the same amount of money I can go to the resturant beside me and get a delicious blueberry drink for similar amounts of money.
The employees are 5 star, but I believe pricing is done from the corporate structure and has nothing to do with the employees.
However, I will bite the bullet and occasionally eat alot of those fantastic fries.
EDIT: The employee just screwed up my order as I wrote the review, I told her about it and she just gave me FULL Yam fries for free. Now I am hesitant to give 4 stars.
This place has the best Donairs in the Okanagan. It is always fresh and fast and the assortment of other foods they have on the menu is great now.. My youngest won't eat spicy fries but the staff will make it to taste.. it keeps me coming back plus it's super tasty... Give Subcity Donair a try! I have friends from out of town that come to town and request we go here for dinner... it's Delicious
This is my favorite SubCity location to grab lunch from. I have never been unhappy with my food from here. Recommend trying a half and half beef/chicken donair with tzatziki and zesty parmesan sauces with your choice of vegetables. Don't forget some spicy fries too -- the sauce they come with is addictive!
