Jon and Tanya exceeded my expectations when they made my wedding cake. It was a focal point during my reception and I had many wonderful comments on it. Both Jon and Tanya are very friendly, have great communication skills, and are helpful. I found the price for my cake to be quite reasonable and after tasting it, I was blown away. Whisk Cake Company should definitely be your cake vendor for your big day!
Tanya was not only great to work with but made such an amazing cake topper and donuts instead of a traditional wedding cake. The donuts were huge and so yummy! Everyone loved them! I would highly recommend Whisk!

We were so happy with our assortment of mini pies at our Wedding this May Long Weekend! It was so nice not having to worry about transporting any of the pies to our venue, as Tanya and her team took care of everything. I have recommended Whisk Cake Co to a bunch of people already! I asked Whisk Cake Co to help be by baking a cake and cupcakes for my son Kelans first birthday! They were thrilled at the idea of helping me produce the most perfect "Cat in the hat" themed cake and cupcakes with cotton candy!
They were so happy when hearing about this idea that they went out and bought a cotton candy machine to even do their own cotton candy. I was thrilled at the results! They were easy to work with and quick with responses and helpful with ideas.
I will use Whisk Cake Co for any other events going forward as well!

All I had to do was give them a theme (basketball - GS Warriors) and size (2 tier, enough to feed 20-30 people) and they prepared the most elaborate and creative cake I have ever seen. All of our guests were amazed. It was something none of us had ever seen before!
The owners are amazing and very personable! Their passion shows through their exquisite work. I was married in August and had them do a cake, mini fruit pies and a candy table. My husband and I along with all our guests were extremely impressed and nothing went uneaten! Well done Whisk Cake Company, I will recommend you guys to everyone!!!
I love Whisk... I am a pastry chef in Calgary make a few cakes a year on the side... I find their selection and service amazing! Never have to worry.. when I need product I call them... Tanya has given me pointers over the phone... They are masters at what they do ☺ highly recommend them... Their cakes are stellar too!!!
Cute little gem in the heart of Rutland. Took my kids there and they had a pesto cheese croissant and they ate it before I could take a pic. I had a paleo peanut butter chocolate bar (I'm not paleo, I just like how it looked). Both items were great, and I'll definitely be back for more of the bars. Atmosphere is very cute. Definitely recommend for a mid morning or afternoon dessert date.
They have revamped this whole bakery❤..and it is beautiful and open. The sandwiches and treats are yummy, the staff friendly. Its bright and comfortable and there is a bit of a wait now they have been featured on Bakery make over...its a little hidden treasure in Rutland.

You want a cafe and a French style croissant, yup. Chocolate raspberry croissant 🥐. Holy smokes. I tried not to rip right through it.
Staff was very nice and helpful. It is bigger than you think. It looks smaller from the inside. A good spot to take a break from life and just sit back and enjoy a simple pleasure.
It was Saturday donut day! Amazing donut creations ranging from carrot cake fantasy to lemon elderflower. Be early or call in your order. They go fast and when they're gone, that's it. They even have some great ketogenic creations.
Grabbed an assortment of baked croissants and cruffins for our office and everyone enjoyed them! Will definitely be back!
Ordered some sandwiches for our office and couldn't resist getting some mini cheesecakes too! The sandwiches were hearty and so delicious. The croissants they were on were excellent. Highly recommend for lunch or anytime snack, can't wait to try more of their offerings!
I never knew this bakery + cafe before, until today (my birthday). I received a special breakfast delivered to me (thanks to my son and daughter-in-law from MB)..I love their croissants, milk tea, especially the ice cream cup cakes. Taste so good!!! I really love those cupcakes which are not too sweet! I would recommend this bakery to my sisters. My husband and i love to visit this bakery one day!
1000/10 recommend! Everything about this place is amazing! They carry everything from savoury and sweet croissants to cakes and muffins! They also know how to make really good lattes! The environment itself is super cute and comfortable! There’s tables both indoors and outdoors for you to enjoy your treats!

Never tried “keto” baked goods before but reluctantly bought a peanut butter bar. All I can say is mmmmm keto…..

We had an opportunity to visit Whisk Cake and sample some of their desserts in their retail store. Being able to sample their food helped to solidify our decision to go with them as our wedding vendor.
On the day of the wedding, the cake was delivered on time and was a beautiful design. They also included a cake stand/platter at the last minute after we had a hard time finding one that we liked. The flavour/quality of the cake was absolutely outstanding, and we received many compliments from guests on the taste. We definitely feel that we made the right choice to go with them as our vendor.
Before the wedding however, communication with them was difficult. We called the shop, and when we were able to get through, were instructed to send an email with our questions. This was done 4 weeks in advance of our date. Two weeks before the wedding anxiety was high as we hadn't received any answers to our questions. Ultimately, a family member visited the store on our behalf (as we live outside of Kelowna) and got all of our questions answered. We don’t feel that it should be so difficult to maintain a line of communication with your wedding vendor. In the end we are still very happy with our cake, and would still very much recommend them, but this made the weeks leading up to the wedding more stressful than they should have been and made for a bit of a frustrating experience.
Ammaazziingg desserts! I’m in love with their macaroons, and have shamelessly come for them sometimes 3-4 times a week. I’ve also tried their other desserts like their mini cheesecakes, which are delicious. I’ve never been so impressed with such great customer service, the owner really shows that he cares about building relationships with clients and is so welcoming every time I come! The owner has even given my pups their ice cream and she absolutely loved it! Definitely my go-to bakery! Can’t wait for my friend’s bridal shower so that I can place some extravagant, custom orders from Whisk as their work looks beautiful!

I ordered a unicorn birthday cake for my daughter. Went in with a picture and gave her the colours I wanted. The result was better than I could have ever imagined! The detail of the writing and the sparkles and jewels. The cake and icing inside was so delicious. I had to stop myself from eating all of it.

Whisk Cakes made our wedding cake back in September 2012. It was easy to arrange everything with Tanya. We had a great cake tasting with her too when we were deciding the flavours before our big day. Our cake was so delicious and beautiful. Its definitely one of the best we have ever had. It even tasted amazing a year later when we ate it on our 1st anniversary out of the freezer! She also made the macarons we placed in little place holder boxes as our favours for our wedding. We have been back to Whisk Cakes a few times now to get treats from her and we always love everything! Very happy we found Whisk Cakes!
