1000% recommendation!!!! This is a great family restaurant! People with big hearts and a sincere smile, a very talented chef, we come here again and again and have never been disappointed! The products are always fresh! It's always very tasty and cozy! No matter how busy they are, they always cook quickly! A lot of local people come here regularly! This restaurant is our salvation! Since we are from Ukraine, my wife is very picky about sushi and soups, she doesn’t eat “plastic” sushi from the supermarket, she likes it to be cooked correctly and very tasty! Always when I want to cheer up, eat delicious sushi or soup, or noodles... Every holiday I come to this establishment! If you try it once, you will 100% come back again! I highly recommend the new menu and dishes from the chef!

Kelowna’s hidden gem. Friendly staff with delicious sushi made with passion!
Started with three different soups, and the wanton soup wins hands down. Next came the massive orders, which was a pleasant surprise as the chef took time and effort to plate it nicely on a platter instead of sending it out one by one. Recommendation: Go for the fatty tuna. The rest of the food was also exemplary and absolutely delicious. Don’t wait any longer, just go, order everything and decide for yourself!

I really liked their sushi rolls, they are unique and delicious. I ordered Kelowna Maki roll, vegetable spring rolls, vegetable deluxe roll, and Miso soup. Have also previously tried their chicken teriyaki roll. Everything was delicious including Miso Soup. I highly recommend their Kelowna Maki and Veggie Deluxe Roll, they are better than the non-veg rolls. Very interesting!

Maki Sushi is hands down the best sushi I've ever eaten. They are the kindest people, family owned and operated and have been serving delicious and consistent food since I started going there 14+ years ago.
The sushi is expertly crafted, from the perfect flavors to the generous amount of filling to rice ratio of the rolls. The fantasy, dancing eel, and BBQ special rolls are must tries and you do not want to miss the chicken spring rolls or miso soup. Thanks Maki!

This Sushi place is my favorite one to go to! Amazing food created with love, and such sweet and kind staff that is always super welcoming! Best Wonton soup in town, that's hand crafted with a hearty broth. Highly recommend to try it amongst the Lama's ebi roll and spicy tuna- but really, everything is delicious here! :)

Went there tonight to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. Very nice experience.
The Hospitality: Came there at 8:30pm and still got everything I ordered even though they were gonna close at 9pm. We were welcomed with a genuine smile from the lady and the girl upon our arrival. Very nice and homey place and the family that works there is so nice to us. This is my second time visiting them and yet they remember me and my girlfriend from 3 months ago.
The food: we ordered Chicken Karaage, sushi, beef Don, Coconut chicken curry. Our food took a very reasonable time to prepare (only 10-15 mins) and it was made fresh and hot in their open kitchen. The Karaage is a must try if you haven’t. Even though the menu says chicken Karaage wings they make actual chicken Karaage which is so much better, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside . Do yourself a favour and try it !! Next thing I loved the most was the coconut curry.. loaded with chicken and seasonal vegetables and cooked in a coconut milk sauce.
I am most certainly going back there.

Wanted to eat Japanese food nearby our hotel during vacation in Kelowna so came here to have dinner. Small place but food is pretty good and friendly service. Good menu selection. They didn't have Ikura tho.

Maki is a very small restaurant and we found the staff to be just awesome and very attentive. Food was disappointing with small portion size. Beef used in the teriyaki was very poor quality and stringy. Sushi roll was small and only just ok. Tempura was very greasy. We would not go back to this place.

My favorite for years.. I have been ordering from Maki regularly for five years now and have never been dissapointed. I have tried lots of the sushi restaurants in town and always end up sticking with Maki. The sushi is well done, there isn't loads of sticky rice overtaking the flavors. Fantasy roll, Volcano roll and Tataki Tuna roll are to die for.

First time ordering food here. Wss told the wait for delivery would be one hour. Ended up waiting for two!!! Truly disappointee. When I called to talk to a manager the didnt answer or return calls. I was hoping for better customer service. Not ordering from there again. Too bad.

Though this sushi place is not as well-known as some of the others in Kelowna, it is definitely my favorite. The staff are so friendly and the food is incredible! They have the best gomae and yam rolls I have ever had.<br/><br/>Check it out! You will not regret it.

Good food, Great price, Fantastic service!. We order delivery from Maki, often. They are friendly, they have great food, and good prices! We love being able to have sushi delivered to our door on those nights you don't feel like going out. And Maki's service is so friendly, we keep calling them back! This was the worst sushi I have ever had. The crab in the Cali roll was fake crab and it was a very bad flavor. If you can't make a simple California roll in my books you should not serve sushi never eating there again! I also had the prawn tempura it also was the worst I have had. It's cheap and there's a reason for it.

Love this place, best sushi joint in Kelowna for sure. Definitely one of those small "hole in the wall" restaurants. But who cares if the foods good and the service is great right! Extremely good value for your buck. Food is excellent every time. Great portion sizes too like a good size appies the maki rolls never have to much rice on them. The staff is great too the lady who runs the place always remembers us and is super friendly. Can't say enough good about "Maki" there isn't many sushi places you can take your wife only spend $35 with tip and have a great meal.

Quick, cheap, delicious!. I live in the area, and this is my "go to" place for quick, cheap, and delicious sushi! The owners know a lot of their customers by name (myself included) and treat you well! Their chicken teriyaki is especially delicious!

Surprised!. Well they have a minimum of 15$ to deleiver...so thats alot better. they had some different selections, I put my order in 45 minutes later i got my food. so yummy thnk you!! will deff order from again
