Review Surf Side California Street Food - Kelowna

I checked out their food truck at the Armstrong rodeo, and we were so very pleased. I got the fish and zucchini tacos, and my husband got the burrito. We loved it!!! The zucchini taco was absolutely delicious, as well as the fish. On top of that, the owner is one of the loveliest ladies I’ve met!! I 💯 recommend this food truck

The fish taco was the most amazing thing I’ve ever put in my mouth! Amazing quality and fast! I wanted something to make me feel good and that’s exactly what their food did! Amazing service as well! I will be back!

This place could be so much better. When they were the only taco place around sure but now the game has changed. I ordered a burrito. It was executed and put together well, the tots inside the burrito? Nice touch! The issue is the beef was super chewy and old. And I was the first order that day. The quality of beef used also wasn't great. Here are my overall issues Totchos. Always good! But $10 for a small dish of Tater Tots with a few toppings isn't worth $10. They don't even realize if they charged $6 they would make a great side dish since you only get 2 tacos and people would order them way more. Tacos Two small 6 inch tacos for $14 is absolutely nuts. Why pay $14 and still be hungry? Burritos $16 for what is basically a small burrito. The burritos are still good, but you can go to any burrito place (Mucho, Quesada) and get a similar sized burrito or even larger for cheaper. Their burrito is good but it's not special and you're better off going anywhere else. Having said all that I still rate this place decently high cause the tacos and totchos are really good. Just not a good value. The staff are also pretty kind and work hard! But to be honest if you're looking for a real taco/burrito experience and pay less or get more food, there is a better food truck in Kelowna that everyone knows.

Great tacos. Had them while at red bird. Had the fish taco which I really enjoyed. The fish was quite good and fresh salsa on top was very tasty. Seasoning and sauce went well with the taco as well. It is also nice being able to take the tacos to eat in red bird.

Had some rad shrimp tacos today, husband and daughter had something also (can’t recall what lol) we all loved them. Only reason for the 4 star is they auto added a tip without asking or telling us. Not cool.

Fish tacos and the California Burrito tie for the win!! So good!! Great staff. I give this place a 10 all around YUM!!

We were at Rotary Beach Park and saw the food truck parked in the parking lot. Girl at the counter was very friendly. Each order comes with 2 tacos so we decided to get one of fish and one of shrimp. They were both so good! It was just for my wife but the kids ended up eating it all. So we had to go back and ordered 3 fish and 1 shrimp. All gone really fast as well. Great tasting fresh seafood tacos. Will be coming back.

We had Surf Side cater our wedding and it was such a hit!!! The food was amazing, and such a fun way to serve our guests (and COVID safe). We felt so confident in their professionalism and their ability to keep food safe for our very small July wedding. We were able to keep our guests socially distant and avoided having a buffet style service. The food truck added such a fun and unique element to our bug day! Everyone raved about the food! And it’s so fun to be able to repeat our wedding dinner once in a while :)

They have a perfect score of 29 5-Star Reviews on their Facebook page but the food is so good I have to keep telling the World. If you've eaten at this food truck experience before then you know what I'm talking about. Best street food on the planet and I've been to most places. Let's bump up their Google profile by letting everyone here know how great their food is. Highly recommend the fish tacos. I take them with zero spice as my taste buds are a little sensitive to heat but man oh man are their flavors to kill for!

We had an opportunity to try this innovative traveling restaurant at the Food Truck Fest, and were happily introduced to their creative menu. The tacos we had were awesome!! Healthy fresh ingredients, affordable, a super clean kitchen, and SUPER nice staff. #1 in our books. (BTW - we had fish, shrimp and pork - and loved them all)

These guys freakin rock ! Love you guys , great fish Tacos , felt like I was back in the Baja ..... Go Here It Is Awesome. I’ve been a few times since and again yesterday this is the best by far Mexican food truck . Tacos to die for I had a new to me one yesterday the Poke tacos OMG so good also had the crispy Shrimp tacos and as usual so fresh so amazing and the staff are freakin awesome
