Review Da Tandoor Fusion Indian Cuisine - Kelowna

We were greeted by very nice hostess she was knowledgeable and welcoming. We are Muslims she told us all meat is halal. She was very accommodating. She asked us in between our meal for how everything is and if we need anything more. She is gem for that restaurant. I hope owners value her and give her some raise in pay or some bonus.

We came here for dinner and loved our experience. We were a group of 4 and had 2 dinner thalis. One veg and one non veg. While it says it's for 1, the portion is too huge(read meant for 1 punjabi). The quality of both the thalis was great. The veg thali lacked a bit of flavour but the non veg thali was perfect in flavour. The gulab jamun was perfect and much better than the ras malai. The Mango Lassi was really nice too although a little on the sweet side. Also had the chicken pakora and it was decent. Lastly Jyoti's service was exceptional and probably one of the best I've had in a while. Her recommendations were spot on and she was really attentive and welcoming.

When we got there it was abit dead no music or nothing didn't even see staff. After we'd got in and seated everything was fine music came on and service was amazing. Very helpful answering questions and service with a smile. The food was amazing I had the non veg thali option tasted great.

Beautiful restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I came here on a date and it was a lovely setting. The fish pakoras are delicious!

We just tried Da Tandoor tonight. We were pleasantly surprised. The curries were rich and flavourful, and the service was decent. The chicken Tikka in particular was too notch. Well marinaded and cooked just right. The veggie pakoras were light and well seasoned and all the curries were well presented. We eat a lot of Indian food (in more than a few different countries) and this was worth mentioning. In the last two weeks we have tried two other Indian places in Kelowna, looking for a good caliber, authentic restaurant. I won’t review the not so good ones out of respect to them, but I do want to call out when a place is above par. And this place is. Definitely recommend the chicken Tikka! Thanks and we will be back.

The best Indian restaurant in Kelowna! I had Taaz do catering for my wedding week and the food was amazing, all the guests were raving about it! Service was great! Both the owner and his son would check in to make sure everything was going smoothly for each event. The prices were reasonable as well. I would highly recommend!

The food was delicious, service was ok though, they took forever to come to take our order, I think they were understaffed, might have been due to Covid. The food was all perfect, fresh naan, perfectly spiced food, and not too oily. We did get a samosa that had too much oil but they replaced it right away.

We loved our dinner (take out, so didn’t rate the restaurant space). Best Indian food we’ve had since moving to Kelowna. The gravies are beautifully spiced. Our lamb korma was very tender and lean, likewise the chicken in chicken tikkka masala. The veg Manchurian was a big hit - very rich and tasty gravy.

Had some amazing food and good time while here. Jyoti served us and not only she accommodated a out of the way request of ours, but helped us to relax and enjoy our food as she was so polite, kind and quick in what she was doing. Cheery on the cake: Food was delicious too. Chai lovers, order one after you have had your food and you won’t regret. 👍🏻

This restaurant donated a large amount of meals for firefighters at our staging area and we really, really appreciated the food. It was very generous and delicious. I'm going to make an effort to come back to see and enjoy the restaurant after the fires are over. Thank you!!!!

Came here for dinner a few days ago on a quiet night. I ordered lamb tikka masala and naan. The food was delicious. The server offered me a complimentary side of rice which was pleasantly surprising. Would recommend!

If someone is looking for best Indian food in Kelowna, this is the place that provide it. This is the best place to get best Indian Food. The food quality is so good and the quantity is also good. They also provide discounts for Students. Really love that they are doing such good things. Hope that they will grow more and more.

Good Indian food. We tried Chicken Biriyani, Prawn Masala, Normal Naan, Butter Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Lamb Biriyani. Food was great, spices were on point.

Excellent food service with great ambience. Came especially from Toronto to visit this restaurant. Amazing cocktail menu, a lot of options for those who are vegetarians. Must try their Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikka Masala.

Tasty menus (like, actually very tasty and saucy) with good portions at a reasonable price, in addition to a good restaurant atmosphere and a decent location near downtown. I'd say the staffs seemed a bit unknowledgable when I came here with my friend but I wouldn't take a star off for that. Their Lamb Masala + Garlic Naan were actually spectacular! The Lamb was very tender and there was no smell to it. The garlic naan had a strong cooked-garlic taste (which I liked too)! (COVID note: you'll only be getting take-out menus during COVID)

Ordered Green/ Hariyali Chicken Tikka and Chicken Soup. They didnt have green tikka so replaced it with Chicken kebab. Chicken Tikka was okayish, I didn't like the sauce that comes along, it lacked the taste but soup was excellent. While ordering I did ask if I'll be given mint chutney with tikka, lady confirmed yes but while picking up the order I didn't see it in my bag hence I asked for it but the guy present wanted me to charge extra for it, which is ridiculous. He somehow gave it but I didn't like the overall experience. Ordered again, this time Paneer Pakora and they weren't good, attaching pics Update: Visited again after the management got changed and I am glad I did. Good food and good service. Service is slow though as there is only person taking care of all the tables. Also she didn't provide us the bill, just left the machine on the table to be swiped, so not ok. Ordered Lamb Tikka Masala, Coconut Chicken Curry, Rotis, Veg Manchurian and Spring Rolls. Rotis were fresh but dry though, there was no butter. So when you order, ensure to add butter. Manchurian was very spicy though we asked for mild. Chicken and lamb were good and spring rolls are a must try. Lovely interior (not good for photographs though due to lighting), generous portion and tasty food makes this place a must try. Recommended! Update: Tried their Gobi parantha and Methi Chicken and oh my my Methi/ Fenugreek Chicken was very delicious 😋 (Pic attached) Highly Recommend! Update: Ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and it was good 👍🏻 Update: Ordered Chicken Curry and Shahi Paneer. Didn't like Chicken Curry but Shahi Paneer was good. Will not recommend chicken Curry though! Also ordered Lachha Parantha and Rotis but Lachha parantha was not good. It neither wasn't crispy nor flaky. Update: Tried their Lamb Biryani and it was good. Highly recommended! I guess their prices have increased for some of the items hence deducting a star. (You were not serving organic chicken any which ways plus using the cheapest oil available in the market (canola). I don't think the prices should be raised!

Absolutely loved this Fusion Indian cuisine. After a 5 day stressful drive across many mountain passes, finally arriving in Kelowna, found this fabulous restaurant , who happily delivered to our hotel. VEGAN bliss...... We had the veg Goan curry and the potato cauliflower and naan and pickles etc, divine. Just what we needed. And seriously affordable too. Loved this food.....

We webt for dine in at 9:30 and the front desk said we cant serve at this time like why your opened sign is on if you cant serve . We came all the way from surrey to work here. I suggest these kinda restaurant just loose their business if the keep doing this kinda stuff. The staff was not so welcoming. Whoever own this restaurant should talk to their staff If the want good costumers come in. Only good word of mouth helps to grow business. Even phone was ringing and I heard them saying we are closed. Bad costumer service.

While the food is great anytime of the day, they also have free internet!

Da Tandoor has got to be the best Indian food in Kelowna. My family, friends and I cannot get enough!!! We stumbled upon them early this spring and would highly recommend them!
