Review Ferrara's Italian Market - Kelowna

Had a meatball sub, my partner had turkey club with the homemade soup, it was all absolutely divine! Fresh and flavourful. Also purchased the seafood lasagna and beef lasagna to cook at home with dessert. Gem that needs to be visited for sure. Grab lunch and a take home meal, you won't be disappointed.

The greatest hemad3 Italian subs I've ever had. If you want a true Italian experience including the feisty "no soup for you" owner look no further. A must have for anyone visiting the city. The "wize guy" is a personal favorite.

I swear the best part about being Italian is that anyone else that you meet who is Italian - instantly feels like family, where you of course, bond over food. My mom hands down makes the best meatballs & I can honestly say no one has come close to taking that title from her. Other than the famous Scig Meatballs, meatballs at Ferrara's would be the best ones I've tasted thus far. The pizza was delicious, clearly homemade & not at all greasy. Pasta was good & so we're the subs - that’s right, I tried all that in one visit #yolo I think Ferrara's has turned into my top 5 places for grabbing lunch.

If you want to support a great local business these guys are so amazing and friendly! I buy ingredients for pizza every other week cause they are so conveniently close for my girlfriend and I and the quality is top tier! The folks running this joint are some of the most lovely people I've met and they do one hell of a job at keeping everything they have to an exceptional quality. I would highly recommend coming here for a convenient meal on the go or take something home and make an exceptionally tasty meal yourself.

This a really really great little market and deli. They're sandwiches are made from top quality ingredients, served on fresh buns and are completely delicious. They also have an espresso bar that makes top notch beverages that are better than any franchise out there. Their market has a great assortment of groceries and everything you would expect to find in a small Italian market. Pastas, sauces, coffee, olives and more. Everything in their deli case is of excellent quality and is always fresh.

We are staying at the Urban Farm RV Park down the street and stumbled onto this gem! Their pasta and home made marinara sauce is excellent! We preordered a pizza and dropped by just before they closed at 6p. It was right out of the oven and it was delicious!!

I just went in for my first time in hopes of finding gluten free items. The staff were beyond helpful in order to answer all my questions. They have a great supply of gluten free food items from pasta, to sauces to pre cooked meals of lasagna.

Stopped in for lunch while in town, delicious meatball sub, my partner loved their spicy diablo sandwich and we both shared a greek salad that we couldn't put down it was so good!

Stopped in tonight. Got the homemade veal shells with fresh italien sauce and a few other things. It was delicious, fresh and affordable. Paired with fresh green salad and corn from klo farm market next door. Dinner for 2 $20. Highly recommended for those busy nights rather than ordering out. Bon appétit. Personable service by the owner and did not request a tip upon payment. Support local, fresh snd healthy ♥️

Love the staff (Breanne your awesome!) and the food is amazing! I have cooked pizza with their fresh ingredients over a campfire, on a bbq, in a pan to simply just in an oven and it comes out awesome every time! Something to be said for quality ingredients! Also their carrot cake is fantastic! If you want quality food with amazing service check these guys out!

Food's really good! Bacon in particular is deliciously authentic, and even if you don't like breaded meats, give theirs a try in their sandwiches. I ordered online so I have no idea how true this is if you actually go there (it's a bit out of my way, thus the delivery) but some sides would be nice. The sandwiches are good they're just not absolutely filling, though don't take that to mean they're not filling either, just could use a side or something to compliment them and make you truly full.

I can't say enough about the staff and the quality of the food at the Italian Market. The young woman who helped us was amazing. We were from out of town and they helped us pick a variety of fabulous dishes and found a way for them to be heated. The food was outstanding and there was something for everyone's taste. When we return to Kelowna for a visit we will definitely return for more food from the Italian Market.

A very popular place, judging from the lineup at around 2 pm. The food was fresh and tasty and the place was clean. The staff was very friendly, despite the rush of customers. The ?owner even pitched in to help when things were getting a bit slow. I still recieved my 3 sub sandwiches very quickly and was out the door within 15 minutes. I'll definitely go back.

The mushroom ravioli is the best I have ever had in any Italian restaurant. We had their Rose Tomato sauce on it which was also amazing - piquant without too much garlic. Their pizzas and pizza dough are fantastic. Going back to sample some more of their menu.

I initially decided not to share my review and thus just gave one star to this place on Google Maps but the owner had the audacity to reply back to my review with "Care to share your one star Melody? From my understanding its because there was a line up and you weren't wiling to wait your turn?" So here's my experience:<br/>I have been here only once and have ordered the lasagna and chicken parmesan pasta. I didn't like the lasagna at all. The portion was quite small and it didn't taste fresh. Maybe it was previously frozen? Even though I have ordered the chicken parmesan pasta I was given the chicken parmesan sub for some reason, however I didn't bother to express my concern as there was a line up (because there was only one person working).<br/>In conclusion, the two items that I have received were pretty bland and not fresh whatsoever for an "Italian" market.<br/>I also believe that the owner is deleting or hiding bad reviews. I have posted a review on Google Maps but I don't think it was made public. The owner is extremely rude, unprofessional and cannot take criticism. I have never had an experience like this before.

No, Not for me, very under whelming, dry bread for a sub, tasteless, more bread than anything else, sub was (sub par), certainly not worth the visit, snotty service.

Stopped in for a take-out Italian Sandwich, Frank (the owner) is from Cleveland and knows what a real Italian deli is - I had the meatball sub - it was good, homemade meatballs are nice, more sauce and cheese would be better along with peppers. My wife had the Turkey Club - it too was not as expected - not the veggies she expected. Bread was fresh and service with a smile. I'll go back to try something else next time - the selection looks great.

Best value in kelowna. Best chicken Parmesan. Best calzone. Best service in kelowna ( besides Little Hobo). You must go here the value is insane. $9.99 for a chicken parm dinner. Unreal. A+

Stopped into this cute market and grabbed a sub sandwich. Everything was fresh and tasty. I was excited to see they sell fresh pizza dough and various food entrees to go which I am definitely going to try next time I stop by.

The Best Authentic Italian Food anywhere.  Love their meatballs!  Everything is delicious.  Excellent Service.  First Class.  The owner and his staff go out of their way to take special care of every customer.

Wonderful food. Clean, welcoming and friendly. I've been stopping in since it opened a year ago and it still looks new. <br/><br/>Recommend the meatball sub, tiramisu and coffee as my go to meal when passing through Kelowna.

Can't wait to go back!. We stopped in to pick up some lunch before getting on the highway. The food was fresh, DELICIOUS, and fast - I'm still dreaming about my muffeletta. Ferrara's will be a stop every time we are near Kelowna!

Awesome!. The subs are delicious, fresh ingrediants and plenty of toppings. The turkey BLT and the meatball subs are my go to choices.<br/><br/>They also sell fresh made apple pies that are second to none!
