Kaya Sushi + Grill - Kelowna - Photo album

3.5 stars overall. The location is super convenient and there's ample parking. The food quality is good and the selections varied. But the price-quality ratio is on the low side. The tonkatsu curry was a bit dried and tough on the inside, although the curry itself was ok. The portion of sushi served
Great place with tasty food and lovely service. I come here regularly and always try something new and am never disappointed. Personal favourites are Cold Ramen, Ahi Tuna Poke, Bara Chirashi, and Saba Shioyaki (though the rice portion for this is quite small).
A little too much rice and not a lot of fish in the rolls but overall decent food. We payed close to $80 for lunch for two including 2 miso soups, 1 sashimi, 2 rolls and 1 oshi. Clean and tidy place, nice atmosphere, friendly staff.
Really nice Japanese fusion spot nearby the airport. Thoroughly enjoyed the uni cream udon - it was giving elevated seafood mac and cheese vibes. Would also recommend the Saba pressed sushi!! I had a friend who is gluten and dairy free and they had a special menu and even brought out gf soy sauce :)
A great spot beside the airport. Sushi was fantastic, very fresh scallop. Staff are very efficient and friendly with plenty of help. Food was quick to come out, too.
AMAZING sushi, among the best ones I've tried. Definitely the best I've tried in Kelowna and I love sushi (not just a casual eater).
Very reasonably priced sushi and other dishes, especially for the quality you're getting! The tempura is nice and crispy (really recommend the sweet potato tempura), and as a bonus, they've got good deals on Sapporo on tap.
Amazing !!!! My husband and I live in Vancouver we came to Kelowna for a visit . So happy that we picked this sushi house this has been the best sushi we have eaten. Not just the quality and the presentation, the staff were so polite and always topping up our water. Look forward to coming back here.
The food here is pretty good especially the pressed saba sushi and unagi & ikura hot stone bowl. The tempura that came with both noodle dishes -- udon soup and cold soba -- were delicious. Only complaint is that the buckwheat noodles for the cold dish (soba) were overcooked.
Roy and his staff are super friendly. Top rated sushi restaurant in Kelowna for a reason! Me and my business associates attend regularly, we are always pleased with their food quality. Extremely, prompt and efficient service as well! Great job, Kaya!
Very nice. The food was good, though maybe a bit small serving sizes compared to other sushi spots. Still, it was all very delicious, and we'll be back. The service was attentive, discreet, friendly and fast. Recommended.
If I could give 6 stars for here I would! I would like to thank Daisy for being a superstar! She has been there since they opened 4 years ago and is so professional and enthusiastic that I had figured that she must be part of the ownership. She is not. She is a rare, self-motivated person who cares
I have been to many sushi places in Canada and around the world and this place was amazing! Their rolls are so unique and tasty, while being simple. We can’t wait to come back.
My wife and I came here, it's somewhat close to home and was recently recommended by my co-worker/boss. As we entered the restaurant, we noticed it was not busy, a couple of other tables with people and we waited to be seated. Nice decor and the tunes were also good as background noise. My wife an
This place was recommended to us awhile back by our clients and we finally had a chance to try it for the first time and wish we would've sooner!! The food was delicious and the Japanese beer was nice and cold and crisp. I ended up getting the Shoyu Ramen and some Dynamite roll and the wife got the
While I'm not well-versed in seafood, that was likely the finest sushi I've ever experienced. Even my incredibly selective 6-year-old eater couldn't resist trying my rolls. The Ramen soup was equally delightful, and the food unquestionably justified its cost.
Great experience with the gluten free menu for our friend who needed to have alternate choices for sushi. We all ate from the gf menu and the flavors were excellent! Would highly recommend kaya for anyone needing a wheat or gluten free menu.
Love this place! Very delicious food and amazing service. I love their deep-fried sushi, especially magma. Also, I would recommend gyoza for a starter.
It was so good yesterday we came back for lunch again today. The menu has a little for everyone and the special rolls are unique and delicious. They are careful and cautious with food allergies. Definitely worth a stop!
