Review Ozeki Japanese Restaurant - Kelowna

Absolutely great service and atmosphere. I ordered the BC roll, ebi ebi dynamite roll, and the Spider roll. Of the three I would recommend the spider roll (the one on the left) solely out of personal preference. The atmosphere is only rated poorly because of the annoying girls that were in the booth behind us, they just didn't know how to use their inside voices. Otherwise it was a great experience.

Wonderful old school Japanese restaurant with something for everyone. Busy for dine in and take out. Staff is friendly, hard working and welcoming. Food is delicious! Can’t wait for our next visit.

We had 5 adults and 1 child in our group . We showed up at 5pm on Friday night and service was impeccable. The food as good as its always been. I used to go here 18 yrs ago on a regular basis and the food was always so good. It's still amazing.

Absolute best place to get sushi ever. The food is always fresh and in the dozens of times I've gone, I've never left feeling sick, only full to the absolute brim. The flavors are so vibrant and fill your mouth with unimaginable tastes. Service is top tier, all the people I've met there are very kind, and very professional. The food is cooked faster than any other restaurant in BC that I've been to. The waiters and waitresses check on you to make sure everything is good with your food and drink, but never feel like they're bugging you. On the outside, the place may not look like too much, but once you step foot into the building, it's like you stepped into a piece of Japan. Once you step in, you're asked immediately if you'd like a table, or room (yes, there are small rooms you can have for you and your friends to sit in privacy) then are handed the menus to peruse to your liking, and a drink of water for each person. Once ready, they'll come up to you and write everything down that you ordered, and return in about 10 minutes with your food freshly made, and ready. This place is my number one spot to go to for dates, a nice hangout, or just to eat. I highly recommend this place to any sushi lovers out there. 5/5 for everything. Will continue coming here often!

Food came quick and tasted incredible. Good customer service and alright prices. The atmosphere was cozy with little places you could take off your shoes and sit in. I would recommend this restaurant!

The dinner was great 👍🏻 food was fresh and delicious, volume was great, umeshu was delightful. Overall dining experience was pleasant and very positive.

I love this restaurant so much! The people are friendly and the food is always delicious. I've never been disappointed and love trying new things each time we go! Definitely eat here! Also their booths are super cute and cozy! Make sure you're socks don't stink because they do ask you to take your shoes off before you climb into the booth. Great date night ~☆°

Our favorite sushi place to go on Dad-Daughter Dinners. Great food, the traditional eating nooks make you feel like you're on a little vacation. Always fun.

I had an awesome experience here! Very interesting tables and booths! The food 🥘 was delicious with fair pricing! The service was also great! We had various meals and drinks! If your looking for something different you must try this place out!

The food was really good and the price is fair. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean. they have private booths and a good mix of meat and veggies dishes. The have more then just sushi if that is not really your thing. My family loves going and it's good for kids too. Edit- Friday nights are busy for take out and the service drops. This Friday it took us 20mins to get water and food got cold. There was only 6 tables seated when this took place. I would only do one star for tonight.

Friendly folks work here at this lovely place with a comforting and laid back atmosphere. I like the little raised booths with cushions that nod to Japanese design while still suiting a Canadian audience. I was pleasantly surprised by the spicy salmon nigiri. Most places just do basic salmon with some spicy sauce but this place puts its own spin on it with chopped salmon with sauce and green onion on top of the rice. The tonkatsu ramen had a homey feel, a simple delight. Its tough to describe but the broth seemed hearty and healthy, like it steeped various vegetables over a long while. The pork had a beautifully caramelized surface. I can’t say much about the noodles but the whole dish was exactly what i needed to feel at home while away from home. Thank you O-Zeki! I hope I can try more in the future.

The place was amazing, not difficult to find via GPS. Food was plentiful, warm and fresh. Servers were courteous, friendly and checks us momentarily if we are pleased or if we need anything. Staff are all using masks and can be seen sanitizing chairs, tables, door handles as per covid protocol. Try their unagi eel roll and philedelphia roll. Their mango icecream is good also. Good for family and groups of people. As for parking, there are lots of spaces so no need to worry. I took my son here and remember my dad taking me here when I was almost the same age. Same great food and service. I'm sure it's changed hands since but it is nice to see it's still there. Thank you!!

Very good food, tasteful and well prepared. Menu has a great variety of dishes. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Good service. Food didn't take look to be served.

Such good sushi! So fresh, so well made. We always get takeout from here and they never disappoint! Huge selection of rolls too and friendly customer service.

This place was amazing!! I can't day it enough!! The food was sooooo good! They gave booths but you need a reservation for any hope of getting one as this place is BUSY!!
