This is the best sushi joint in kelowna. I’ve been to Japan, I’ve tried sushi from everywhere. Yama kitchen brings the same quality that I had in Tokyo. I used to be a bluetail guy but their quality went down when they franchised.
Anyone that says momo is the best is lying to your face and they have zero clue. Yama kitchen is the best.

First time for me at Yama Kitchen.
It was a take out order, but the lady was super nice and my food came out pretty fast. I liked everything I ordered, I give 4 stars just because the rolls were covered with a bit too much dressing (for my personal taste), but we'll be back for sure.

This little hidden gem was a lovely stop over after hiking Knox mountain. They had a huge selection of a la carte sushi and japanese foods. The service of the family owners was incredible and they hold their restaurant to a high standard in terms of service, hygiene, and taste. Will definitely return here whenever I'm in Kelowna!

Local treasure! Authentic sushi and Japanese cuisine made by the best people. This is one of my top 3 favourite sushi restaurants in town. On this visit, I had the sashimi bento box: spring roll, seaweed salad, dragon roll, sashimi… Everything was perfect. Complimented by green tea. I will be back soon!

A hidden gem in Kelowna. We tried a variety of rolls and they were all delicious. The fish was fresh, and everything tasted perfectly. Will definitely go again next time I'm in town. Excellent pricing as well.
