Best breakfast in town! Had the eggs benny and was impressed by the unique flavours and gourmet plating. The server informed us that the Benny dish didn’t come with a meat but that we could add bacon, which we did. Ordered a cappuccino and it was perfectly made. Most tables in the cafe were full by the time we left but our service was great! Atmosphere was exactly what we wanted for a casual but tasty breakfast for two in Kelowna. Thanks Curious! We will be back!
The service was very fast and very friendly! The food was absolutely delicious & presented beautifully! Would recommend this establishment to anyone who enjoys great food and wonderful service at a great price :)
Yummy breakfast food, made with love! I recommend the hash... The secret to this deliciousness is in the tomato jam. Curious is such a treat!
Awesome selection of craft beer paired with a great menu! Hope they bring the fried pizza dough back, it was so good!!
Amazing service and delicious, fresh, homemade breakfast. Would definately recommend.
I absolutely LOVE this place! It's the staff that makes it so awesome & comfortable. We had our engagement party here and they were so good with our party crew. I don't think there's anywhere else in Kelowna that would have been more accommodating to our unique celebration. Thank you guys!! Appreciate the hospitality SO much!
Hands down the best burger and fried chicken in town. I don't know how you do it Luigi. You're the best!!! I am obsessed with your food.
This will definitely be a new regular spot! Loved the atmosphere, great service, and all the details...down to the glass water jugs brought to the table. Very stylish and contemporary yet has a rustic, casual feel as well. The pizza with an egg cracked in the center was amazing...and loved that I could sample a flight of beer and have an Americano at the same time! It's like all my favorite things came together at one table. Awesome.
Great pizza and food, friendly staff and an awesome selection of craft beers.
Amazing food, amazing staff, most (if not everything) made in-house, unique menu... Can't recommend it enough!
We had one of the best customer service experiences in all of Kelowna and probably the very best cup of espresso drinks ever. We will be back the next time we are in town!
I hear they do a fabulous breakfast/brunch, and yet that is the only meal I have yet to experience at Kelowna's latest dining hot spot. I have been for lunch and dinner so far, and have been delighted each time. Great food, innovative menu and easy wine choices. Breakfast at the Curious, here I come!
Total yum. I don't go out much and really value a great experience with great food. This was wildly satisfying on all levels. Can't wait to come back.
The Polo pizza was great and the mac and cheese was superb. Beer selections also good. Atmosphere was noisy but vibrant.
The most amazing wood fired pizza, with a fantastic craft beer menu...great, friendly service, in a rustic, "warehouse/reclaimed" dining venue....fabulous!
Great food great service great atmosphere great place to stop for brunch on Sunday after church!
Great food, people and atmosphere with the best breakfast in town.
Awesome food and great atmosphere! Great service and fantastic wine.
Thank you Luigi! Excellent food, vino and service as always!
Awesome food and drinks and even better service! Will definitely be back!
Incredibly fun casual atmosphere. The pizza is amazing!!! Our fav new spot to grab a glass of wine and a bite to eat.
I love the friendly service at the Curious and the food is delicious. I look forward to the soup of the day too... it is always amazing!!!!!
Awesome place, amazing food, great service and Luigi and staff are super friendly.was a pleasure hanging the wallpaper for them :)
We arrived 15 mins before opening and rather than making us wait or turning us away, they opened the doors and handed us a drink menu. Thanks for the great service and fantastic food, as usual!
Stopped by for a quick cocktail. Not the largest cocktail menu, but the ones they did advertise were quite unique. I tried the Spicy Moscow Mule, which uses a jalapeno simple syrup to add a kick of heat. They were accommodating and made it a little milder for me (I'm a weakling), and it was amazingly refreshing! There weren't a lot of people in the restaurant, but I did scope out people ordering the wood-fired pizzas. I'll have to try one sometime!
Total hipster restaraunt but that's Kelowna for you. Came for breakfast and our server was friendly and attentive. The menu is sparse. I had the strawberrycream cheese french toast Which is not typical french toast - the "toast" is bread.
July 28 2017
Arrived today at the time of day where they only serve pizza. Wasn't very busy at all so we were seated right away.
What we ordered: Mediterranean pizza & Happy vegan pizza.
The size of the pizzas were similar to a standard medium pizza.
My fiancé really enjoyed the Mediterranean pizza. And we took leftovers home and our picky cousin said the Mediterranean pizza was so good.
My happy vegan pizza was pretty good. I just wish that there was more parsnip purée sauce and that it were spread more to the edges of the dough. Comparing my happy vegan pizza with my fiancés Mediterranean pizza - his sauce and toppings were spread more toward the edge and it would've been nice if mine were too because there was a lot of crust left and I felt bad leaving such wide chunks of crust uneaten and if there were an option to have whole wheat dough/crust - that would be ideal! Otherwise the flavours were good and I loved the parsnip purée sauce and rainbow carrots on the pizza.
Still gotta come back and try the other vegan menu items.

Came here on June 16 2017 for breakfast for the first time. Super cute place with very friendly service.
What we ordered: mocha, chia seed pudding, 2 vegan delight's, breakfast sandwich, and strawberry cheesecake French toast.
There are quite a few vegan items on the menu, my cousin and I got the vegan delights and decided to share the chia pudding. We unfortunately didn't read the menu properly and thought it was only almond milk but there was actually yogurt too. I barely tried it but my cousin tried some even though she can't have dairy and said it was good with the fresh fruit purée. I will say that I personally like my chia pudding a little thicker with more chia seeds, this one was a different style I guess.
The rest of our food: was soooo yummy. I loved the vegan delight breakfast. For the toast at the bottom I would've done whole grain but otherwise it was a very delicious meal and I can't wait to try the other vegan menu items. My cousin loved her vegan delight as well, her only complaint was that she wished there was more chocolate in her mocha.
The others that we were with really enjoyed the strawberry cheesecake French toast and breakfast sandwich. The little hash brown potato balls that came with the breakfast sandwich were a hit with everyone.
The server was great, super friendly, casual, with a comfortable vibe.
We will definitely be back.
Ahh, Curious. I think they have a few small kinks to work out, but overall it's a decent place to grab a bite.
It's a community table type restaurant, so it gets EXTREMELY loud when it's busy - like, painfully loud. I've never been in a restaurant that physically pains me to sit in. I think some heavy curtains, tapestries, or something to break up the sound is really in order. Also, because they're in the downtown core, they get a few pub crawlers every now and then. It's not their fault, really, but when there's no soundproofing whatsoever, it's extremely disrupting to have people hooting and hollering next to you.
Service has always been exceptional, they have some great people for sure. Food's good - my fave is the relatively new fried chicken dish. Pies are good too, but you might want to ask for them to be cooked a few minutes extra, as they tend to be a little soggy in the center. Like I said, small things.
I had their Mac & Cheese with Bacon today. Just something about Mac n Cheese that's made from scratch. It was tasty and it was a good portion. Love the atmosphere of this place :)
You can either just have a good cup of their coffee or have a good meal and no one gives you the look that you've been there for too long. Service is excellent
This place was absolutely AMAZING. Absolutely the highlight of my dining experience in Kelowna. The atmosphere is great, the staff is great, and love the decor! BEST TRUFFLE FRIES OF MY LIFE.
Went here Saturday night with two friends. Right off the bat our service was great - my friend was offered tastes to select the right beer and our waiter joined in our banter to the right level of helping us make our selections but not taking too long (it wasn't busy yet so that probably helped). We shared the mac and cheese and the (huge) kale salad to start and then had pizzas. Yummy. Had leftovers. Only negative was the small selection of wines. Would definitely go again.
Amazing service and food ! We were there for Breakfest and it was quiet but energetic. The food was fresh and delightful ! The atmosphere was unbelievably complimented by the great service 👌🏼
second review
Drinks and food were prompt; and boy was it ever delicious. My husband had their benny's and hash- which he raved about the hollandaise. While I had the Breakfast Sandwich that I missed on the last visit; it was phenomenal!
This place is now my official go to for breakfast!

first review
I had been pushing for weeks for my man and I to check out the Curious Cafe for breakfast, in place of our usual go-to - Boho. I had already fallen in love with the concept of the restaurant, with their beautifully plated dishes, and unique twists on the menu. So when he finally said 'Today is the day!'; I was bubbling over with excitement.
I ordered their S'more waffles- I love novelty dishes, and it was truly delicious. (side note: waffle iron was broken - so they're pancakes)
My partner ordered the Breakfast Sandwich with house made tater tots. The sandwich was in actual fact more like a breakfast burger, so effing good - and the tot's tasted like deep-fried mashed potatoes.
Great unique flavour food/tapas and atmosphere. Love the newspaper menu. Original just like the food.
Will return again when I'm back in Kelowna!
Great spot to stop for any meal! Unique and modern with an old school theme. Great service and impressive plates. The only thing I would improve would be to add more dishes.
It was pretty empty when we got there but the food was very tasty and would come back to try other things on the menu.
We had the mushroom on toast and the Cesar salad and I was pleasantly surprised by the salad because they added fried capers which added some crunchy texture along with a bit of brininess which cut through the richness of the salad dressing very nicely.
The mushroom toast was also very good with rich and savoury sauce and plenty of mushrooms to smother the toasted bread underneath.
I want to come back with a larger party to try out the oven baked pizza and next time but for everyone else, this was a good restaurant worthy of your attention.
I went here the other night. I was pleased overall by my experience. Staff was friendly and professional. Food was very good. Was a little loud but otherwise was a enjoyable experience. Cocktail were decent. Price point a little high for what was served...but so saying that is kinda the norm. Have to say best side salad I have ever had. I would suggest a great place for a date night or as a family gathering.
Most of the food we got tasted amazing and I'm sure the rest of the menu tastes just as amazing.
I love a good Margherita pizza. They're simple but delicious and their pizza is just perfect. Their Beach Boys (bbq) was just alright for my taste. The Texas bbq sauce seems to have overpowered all the other ingredients on it. If you love bbq sauce, then I would recommend Beach Boys.
I got to take some bites of their Garbanzo Gladiator and it was great. The chickpea veggie patty was crunchy on the outside and soft of the inside. It was a unique experience to try something like that.
I gave their service 3stars because the staff forgot about our water twice during our time even after acknowledging and saying "I'll get back with your water." We came around a time when it was not busy so it was just a bit disappointing.
The place wasn’t busy when we came in so it was nice and calm. Good vibes and nice atmosphere where you can hang out and hear each other talk. I ordered the Artichoke pizza and my bf ordered the duck duck pizza. Both were way too delicious to give up, even the crust. We usually don’t finish the entire thing but it was just too good. Waitress was really nice and welcoming. Overall a really good place to eat
Came for a solo lunch and had a lovely bowl of avocado, hummus, quinoa, cranberries. It was dressed so perfectly with the lemon juice brightening everything without being overpowering. Healthy and delicious..it made me seriously consider going vegetarian if food can taste that good. I did see they have a big pizza oven though so it seems like pizza is the thing or order here as well. Next time for sure!
If I could give more stars for the service, I would. Bryce was so freaking sweet and even though we entered super late, he still had a great attitude, and made us delicious drinks and served us an incredible pizza (dare I say the best in town?). I recommend and plan to visit again soon!!
Absolutely amazing place! The atmosphere is so good and the menu is incredible. The range of drinks they have is unbelievably stunning! Food is great and the servers are so polite and helpful. Serving time is good as well. Will definitely be coming back!
Food was incredible! Almost everything is made in-house and tastes exquisite.
There’s tons of classy seating indoors and a really great patio with shade in the back.
Kim made sure the service was great too
We had an overall great experience here. The food was fantastic and the drinks were even better! We thought the prices were very fair as you get fairly large portions. The food and drinks alone earned this five star review.
One thing I would like to see is a more interesting and unique cocktail menu. Most their cocktails were just classics - it would be cool to see some home-grown options on there.
We were also a bit disappointed when we arrived and there was no live music, despite it being advertised on their website and even right outside the door.
One other thing to note is that most the tables are big community tables which may not be everyone’s thing.
Although a bit loud and slow, the food was sublime! Everything our party ordered was spectacularly delicious, and the drink menu was well done too. I would recommend the Hummus over practically anything. Good hummus is hard to come by unless homemade, and this place does it with practiced skill! Delicious! This is most definitely a conversational brunch spot, as food does take a long time to come out and seems to cater to larger groups. Great place to host a brunch!
Great place to go before an event downtown, within walking distance to the many great entertainment venues. Nice selection of wine and drinks. Great servers, and the woodfire pizza is fast and probably the best tasting crust I have ever had. Highly recommend! Christina
3.5 stars. Glad about the vegan burger offering, which I ordered and enjoyed with fries. Range of craft beers available. The menu has some grammar/spelling flaws. I did not like seeing the big slabs of meat hanging at the front of the cafe.
Absolutely love this restaurant! You can tell that ownership and the chefs take their food serious. I have had almost everything on the menu and would highly recommend any of them. My favourite is the Beach Boys Pizza. I even like stopping in for just a nice Americano !
Food was great - tasted like right from Italy! Server was fantastic. Atmosphere was welcoming and friendly - we came at 8:30pm, after which they had already turned the oven off, but they turned it right back on just for us - WITH a happy face 😄
Looked up Curious Cafe based on asking for a recommendation from a nice employee at Cedar Creek Estate winery (we asked if she knew of any great places to eat, other than at the winery). It was a perfect recommendation. The right mix of great vibe, great food, and wonderful hosts. A mix of all ages, I would say. Our host Kevin was great. He got us in much earlier than our reservation and checked in and made sure all was ok a few times. Our server Alyssa was wonderful too, even as she was running around, helping our everyone in our section. The kitchen staff looked like they were genuinely happy and grooving to make the orders, even if they were non-stop busy. All in all, it's on our "list", when we get back to Kelowna, and I would recommend it to all.
What a cute little restaurant with great food! I had a delicious arctic char while my friend had a pizza, which she enjoyed. Would highly recommend!
Visited Curious Cafe after some hours on the lake. Draught beer choices are abundant and staff is very knowledgeable on what they serve. We tried some of the dishes from the Meze section in ther menu. The Rustic Bruschetta, Fried Olives and the Hummus + Foccacia was amazing. This was our second visit. The Pizzas and coffee at this Cafe are must tries as well!!
Thos place is famous for pizza and the pizza is great for real! The ambient is nice and pleasant. I think their drinks are over priced compared to other places.
