Review Smack Dab - Kelowna

Wonderful atmosphere, Great food ( I ordered the lamb shank), hubby ordered the hanger steak, he was less impressed. I'm very particular with lamb it has to be done right to eat and this was just fabulous! The meat fell off the bone, perfect spice ratio.

Located right in the waterfront, this location has some good sights from inside. We were quickly seated, however despite it not being busy we were put near the kitchen rather than the window. (possibly because of server rotations?) The service was great. Friendly staff. Food was delicious, we had pasta and pizza. Very filling and appropriately priced. The spinach artichoke dip was average. This trip we were too full to eat dessert, however last time we had the chocolate cake and it was superb.

We used to frequent this place but moved away for a while. Recently revisited. The food was great, but I still miss some things from the very old menus. Lol. The view would have been great without the smoke hanging over the valley. It's a great place to go for a date.

Love the location! Right on the waterfront, huge patio and lovely view. Stopped in for dessert and coffee and was pleased with the quality and how affordable it was. Great cheesecake and ok latte. It is a good place to stop by and relax after a wine tour. There was a happy duck working the crowd:-)

Visited for lunch today during our vacation. The reviews were saying the food was great, they were right! Absolutely delicious. Pretty spot by the marina. The service was friendly but we were not offered water refills nor fresh pepper once the fine pastas arrived, although they have the gigantic fresh pepper mills on the servers corner. Not a big deal but kinda disappointed as the prices suggest a little better service. Would definitely recommend to stop by if you are in the Kelowna area.

Delicious food and get a spot on the patio for great sunset views and to watch the kite boarders do their thing! The Crazy Fries are craaaaazy good and I would definitely order it again; crispy and fresh with the herbs and lemon. The lemon curd tart for dessert was a yummy finish. Overall, the service was great, the food was tasty, and the views make it even better.

Our party made a reservation in advance. Seems like a necessity to dine in at this establishment. Highlights include the gorgeous view, friendly staff and good food. Out of the highlights, the food was probably the least impressive bit, but was good enough. Here are some pictures.

Possibly the best mussels I've ever had!! We got the safron cream chorizo ones and OMG, delicious!!! 🤤🤤🤤🙌🙌 I also had the bolognese fettuccine and very good! You definitely could tell the pasta was made in house. Has a very large patio, great views of the lake as well!

Beautiful waterfront restaurant !! Excellent service, dinner was delicious and a nice selection of local wines to choose from. Staff were very friendly and followed all covid protocols. Dinner came out promptly and neither of us could finish our meals, good portion size. Will definitely be going back !!

First off, Beautiful location. A friend of mine recommended this place and it was well worth it. We hit up happy hour and the food was filling (pizza was great and a good size), and the sangria was delicious. We were on the patio. It was very comfortable. It had a great view of the lake and beach. Also if you are there on a windy day, the entertainment from the kite boarders nearby is also very enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend a stop in here. I will be back.

Went there again last night, had the WORST Saturday bar night experience, went inside at 10:15pm and was told the kitchen was already closed, that sucked but I understood since it was slowing down and they were closing at 11pm, so had a couple drinks, vodka soda, Italian surfer 2oz, and shot of vodka and felt absolutely nothing with an empty stomach, drinks were obviously watered down or improperly measured and that's the biggest disappointed beiside the super rushed and uncomftable experience I went through with the guy who helped us, he was kind just very awkward. I managed a restaurant in Calgary Downtown and always ensured that every guest that walked in our place, no matter what time of the day, would leave happy. Never felt so unsatisfied and awkward, had to order pizza while waiting for the bill.. cost way less and was way more satisfying than my watered down or unproperly measured liquor!! Our server or Manager, hopefully not Manager because he was obviously not meeting expectations for that, kept spending his quality time and service with the table with two girls closest to the bar, when we were willing to buy lots of drinks within the last 30 mins of closing.. just terrible and really nasty tasting cocktail.

Excellent food, beautiful view and even though it was a busy Friday not once did we wonder where our server was and I will never visit Kelowna again without providing my patronage to this world-class establishment

We stopped by... had the steel head trout with warm potato salad... and steak smothered in mushrooms covered by a reduction...fish was cooked perfect...atmosphere was great...view of the kite flyers on the lake was awesome during dinner...service was great...we loved it

The calamari was one of the best we have had in Kelowna. Service was good. Perfect afternoon to be sitting on the patio. Will definitely be back!

Very beautiful patio, good food, and really friendly staff!

Wine and food options are sub par but view is awesome. Would come back for appies only but not an entree or for dinner l would love to see more elaborate wine list and dinner options (dairy free)

Service was awesome, good drink choices, the fried mozerella, meatballs and mussels were superb, chicken wings not crispy enough for me and Calamari had too much of a seasoning “dust” on it! Just my two cents, but I would definitely go back! 👍

My husband and I were celebrating our 23 wedding anniversary last night. We had never been there for dinner, and let's just say we will be back. Our waitress had only been working there for over 1 month, and she was amazing. Recommended our appetizer, and the calamari was great. I ordered the NY steak and my husband the spagehetti & meat balls. Both meals were amazing, seasoned to perfection ��

Great! Good food and good service plus a fantastic outside (seasonal) patio with beautiful views of the lake.

Terrific patio, great location, friendly and helpful staff. But the service is scarily slow, food portions are tiny with misleading and innacurate descriptions on the menu. Did I mention the patio is terrific? :)
