Review Joey Kelowna - Kelowna

I'm always so happy with my dining experience when I come to Joey's Kelowna. I enjoy doing working lunches there and often get served by Kelsey who is an absolute dream server. She's so attentive, personable, and has such great energy, even when she seems very busy. She's one of those people who remembers you and makes you feel so welcome each and every time I come in. 5 stars doesn't seem like enough... 100 stars is more like it. Joey's is lucky to have her! What an awesome night we had celebrating hubby’s birthday at Joey’s last night. When we walked in they poured us each a lovely glass of bubbly. We were told this is a standard greeting which is very welcoming and certainly makes a great start to the evening. After we finished our meal the manager came by to wish hubby a happy birthday and offer him a dessert of his choice. This was all served by our very polite and efficient server, Noel. The most amazing part of the evening came when Noel came by to tell us that our entire bill had been looked after by the people who were sitting at the table across from us. They wanted to treat us because of the birthday (possibly we reminded them of their grandparents)! How generous and kind, I am not sure we thanked them enough because I started to cry, with happiness of course. To that couple, I hope you might read this post. Your gesture was the best surprise and most lovely treat we have ever experienced. Thank you, thank you. Thanks also to Joey’s and all the staff, it was a night we will not forget.

Dec 31/23 update Quick and efficient and friendly service Joey's classic steak cooked to perfection and crispy mashed potatoes OMG so friggin amazing 🤩 First time here while visiting the area and the ambiance is great, the gyoza Appy and chicken we're a bit salty bit very tasty. We had the salmon and mashed potatoes and they were surprisingly tasty and the potatoes were creamy and cooked to perfection in my opinion. I would definitely go back. Service was great temperature in the restaurant is also very comfortable compared to some other places where it feels like an icebox.

This is a really nice place but without all the stuffiness. I had the classic steak medium rare and they got it right on. The mashed potatoes were in the shape and outer texture of spring rolls, nice and crispy outside and soft and flavorful inside. The waitress was professional and friendly. All in all, this is a place I'd take some one if I wanted to impress but not overwhelm.

My friend and I went here on New Year’s Eve. We were greeted with a glass of nice champagne while we waited as we didn’t have a reservation. We were willing to sit at the bar if that is all that they had. 5 minutes Later kanwar greeted us and took us to a nice booth! Very unexpected and lovely. We ordered a couple of lime margaritas that were amazing!!!! Thanks to Michael the bartender! We shared how much we enjoyed the experience so far with kanwar when he walked by again and he then said he wanted to comp both of our margaritas!! Wow then the food came out .. we had a share plate of steak and ravioli and a salad . Everything was delicious and steak cooked to perfection! We had a wonderful evening here thanks to the great team at joeys!!! This is our new favourite place to go! Will try to make it more often! Thanks Joeys!!!!

Mike the bartender and Daniel our waiter were Absolutely amazing. We started at the bar and moved to our table for 8. Service and food was excellent. It was very nice to such great service from both of them. Next time I'm back in Kelowna I will be sure to stop in again for dinner, and will not be afraid to book another customer dinner. Than you Daniel and Mike ;-)

Great service! I highly recommend it. I say at the bar as it was a busy night but I was solo so it was totally fine. The place was busy and regardless my food came super fast. Love how they love to greet you with a glass of bubbly. What a nice welcome. I had the she is pretty drink and Yellowfin Tina salad.

Super awesome happy hour that's very affordable and delicious! Staff are super friendly and cheerful. The atmosphere feels fancy and classy which is always fun for a nice happy hour or a dressy dinner.

I want to first of all say how impressed I was with Joey's yesterday at lunch! My husband and I went in for lunch and were offered complimentary champagne. I was pleasantly surprised by this and thought it was a nice touch! After we ordered our lunch, I realized what day it was and that it was our wedding anniversary. I told the waitress that, and that I had wanted to try the ravioli but they were a bit expensive so I went with something else, but since it was our anniversary I decided to splurge and we wanted to add it on and split it so we could try it. Everything we ate was delicious!! After we were done she asked us to choose a dessert and that it was for our anniversary. I was so touched by this! We ordered the molten lava cake, which was also delicious! They even decorated the plate for us. I wish I remembered the name of my waitress, she was amazing and I want to say a big thank you to her. She was pleasant, friendly and made our day! I also want to thank all the kitchen staff who did an amazing job to make our lunch so special. We hadn't been to Joey's for years but we definitely will be back and highly recommend this restaurant!

Enjoyed Joey steak and crusted Salmon. Friendly staff, 1/2 price bottles of wine on Tuesdays was a bonus!

Is it possible to please everyone at lunch? It is at Joey Kelowna. Three generations gathering for lunch and everyone, including my 101-year-old Nan, loved their meal. The seared tuna salad was delicious and fresh.

Holy smokes. This was one of the best steaks I have had in years. Cooked perfectly, right amount of seasoning. When I say perfect, I mean tender, juicy, pink and just perfect. I was actually impressed. The staff, well, suffice to say, they seem to do a really good job of hiring younger, stylish attractive people. Aside from that, service was spectacular. Friendly, attentive and fast. Not one complaint. The place itself is very stylish, with a great decor. Nothing looks cheap. I was actually impressed. Place was also very clean. Try this place. I would not say it's cheap, but here, you get alot for the money and food to remember.

After our long drive, ate here for dinner. Friendly front staff, greeted us with a glass of bubbly. Nice touch! Our server, Justin was awesome! Learned a bit about him and his family, having been born and raised in Kelowna. Everything from appetizers to main course was well done, thoughtfully prepared. Hats off to management for hiring the right crew!

Wow!!! I wish we had a Joey's in Vancouver. I would go there all the time. What a great meal. Great food, service, food and atmosphere. Complimentary champagne the moment we walked in the door.

I haven’t visited Joey’s in a few years and have just reacquainted myself with their restaurant and menu. Was really impressed with our waiter, Asad/Austin, he genuinely shared his enthusiasm about the dishes which encouraged me to try their seafood tacos with mashed potatoes mixed with sour cream and herbs folded into a spring-roll wrap and lightly deep fried…delicious!! My husband had the blackened chicken with the warm potato salad underneath, that too was also deliciously impressive! Will definitely stop in way more often to enjoy their food and service. 😋

The food was great. The atmosphere is good, but my server was amazing. She was interesting funny a lot of personality knew the menu. Well gave great suggestions. She is it efficient as she is kind was a pleasurable experience and I will be sure to come back and ask for her as my server. Her name was Kelsey. Such an amazing server .

Michael is the man. If Michael the bar manager doesn't own the place soon I'll be shocked. If there's one thing among others that he knows best its service. My girlfriend and I went to Joeys on our first ever date 2.5 years ago and he served us, during this service he kept things fun he let us get to know each other and overall showed us exactly what 5 star service is about. Since then we've visited Joeys countless time and never once have we been let down. Michael remembers every time what "our' seat is he remembers what we like to eat, our custom orders, our drinks, and is even able to make great recommendations based on what we liked before. Michael has gone above and beyond time after time and performed at a 5 star level in a way others cannot. I know I am not alone in this experience either as I've mentioned Micheal to clients of mine and we were both shocked to find out that we've both had the exact same stellar service. I leave this review with Joey restaurants to let them know just how special and and rare this type of person is to get within your business and I hope he is valued accordingly. Most importantly I leave this review for any readers to know that if you're going to Joey's make sure you request Michael!!

This was one of the best dinners I have had in a long time. Our waitress, Jeanette (hope I spelt it correctly) was amazing! Super friendly, and her wine pairing recommendation for the dinner was spot on. I had the steak and lobster ravioli. It was cooked perfectly and the ravioli tasted absolutely amazing! Loved it here!

Steak and ravioli starter is phenomenal and worth the price
