Review D'arcy Mcgee's - Kanata

Would give five stars for the quality of food. The steak was perfectly done, the steak and mushroom bowl was awesome. Just a few cons, we had to switch tables 3 times to find a stable one and I ordered a house salad and got a Caesar salad instead. Although it was good 😃 would recommend!

We booked a large group seating on a weeknight, including kids. The facility was very accommodating to our requests. Servers were friendly and attentive. I'm positive they were smiling under their masks. Food was delicious. Atmosphere was great. Many thanks to everybody that made it a wonderful evening. Definitely recommend! 👍

Went here for just some drinks and I ordered the red sangria. I wouldn't recommend it.. there are no layers of different juices, liqueur and wine, it is just not very complex in flavor. I like this drink at st Louis or 3 brothers much more.. The decor is very dark.. not classy dark just dark.

Service and food were good. Drinks are okay. Live music is always a treat. We enjoyed our visit.

Food was great. Service was subpar. Had the fish and chips (exactly how I love it with crispy batter). Problem is I had to ask twice for the salt and vinegar. Had to ask twice for the bill as well. Had been asked a few times by the rest of the party wether I had actually asked for the bills it had taken so long. Food took 40 or so minutes to get to the table. Once the order for the table was taken we didn't see our server for most of the night as she was working behind the bar the entire night so wasn't able to get free from pouring to really serve the table. There was a sizable party and the food didn't come out once so some had started eating before some even had their food. Felt guilty about it. Having worked in a bar kitchen and other restaurants this is a huge no no in any place I've worked. Have been at places where 25 plus ordered and the food all came out at once so if other restaurants are that organized, this place shouldn't be struggling to serve 8. All being said it seemed under staffed as we kept having to ask other servers not serving our area for service. Food was good, service needs work.

Nice place! Good friendly staff and great service! I always went with the fish and chips! Never an issue! Patio nice in summer! We all walked over from the rink last week for lunch.. great to be back inside!! Service was great as always! Food was awesome!

The servers are always friendly and quick. We go here often because while it's not crazy busy the food and live entertainment are always good. Great spot for a date or to catch up with a friend.

Ordered chicken nachos and didn't get any chicken. Hardly any cheese and so many chips around the edges and underneath without any cheese. What's the point? Guacamole was not really Guacamole, it was mashed up avocado. Service was great though.
