Review Bangkok Buri - Kanata

I had the Penang curry with ginger tofu, the ingredients was fresh and very flavourful. The portion size was very reasonable. The staff are friendly and helpful explaining the menu and options available. Looking forward to trying different dishes here and the many combinations.

It is impressive especially u miss Thai food so bad. We ordered pad Thai, drunken noodle and spring roll, we loved the noodles soooo much. It tasted really close we had in Thailand. I would like to try green curry and others for sure. I am really excited I found one more “like” restaurant in Ottawa.

We were two to order beef (steak) pad Thai. We were super hungry and had not eaten all day so we were looking forward to our meal. But the Pad Thai was so strangely SOUR!!! Both of us took a bite and looked at each other a bit shocked. We didn't even add in lime juice or anything. It was so sour that it was difficult to eat (we were cringing- felt like we were eating limes) so both of us threw out our food after a few bites even though we were so hungry! We did order one spring roll and that was good. We eat pad Thai all the time elsewhere so we are confused as to why it was so painfully sour!

I visited Ottawa for work recently and wanted to try this cute little place during my stay. I had the pineapple fried rice with tofu (top dish in photo) and yellow curry with chicken (bottom dish) and I was shocked but how amazing they both were! I ate at my hotel and didnt realise they were big portions. Ate the curry the first night and fried rice the second night for dinner. The tofu is cooked so perfect and went well with the delicious rice with pineapple in it. The yellow curry was so delicious! The chicken was also amazing. I am a texture person and grossed out by chewy fat textures but there was none of that. The second time I went I ordered the mango coconut thai donuts and they were so good as well! You will not be disappointed here.

Obsessed! So thankful to have found this amazing little spot. I got the drunken noodles with chicken and asked for it to be made extra spicy. Perfect! Super fresh, healthy, and delicious. Major bonus: Almost everything on the menu is gluten-free and dairy-free. And everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful!

The pineapple fried rice felt more like a risotto, way too wet and mushy. It was also way too sweet. However, the drunken noodles were pretty good and closer to authentic Thai flavours than the fried rice.

Pineapple fried rice. Was very tasty and just the right amount of heat. Well priced too and didn't wait long for it. All made fresh in front of you. Will come again

Tried this place today and got the spicy red curry rice. The food was delicious, just felt to portion to price aspect was a little low.
