Dee's catered the banquet at our convention last weekend and it was absolutely top notch.  She had a great variety of foods including your choice of either ham or roast.  The roast was so tender you did not even need a knife. Dee, herself was there along with some helpers who were all very friendly and willing to help. After everyone was served, Dee moved around the banquet room to make sure everyone was enjoying and answering any questions. What a great personal touch.  I have been to banquets catered by Dee before and certainly will always put her name forward whenever the opportunity arises.  Thanks Dee...you made our convention team look good!

Wow...A must try!. I work just down the road from Dee's Country Corner Cafe, and I must say, every time I eat lunch there I am thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and the ever-changing lunch specials. Generally Dee's, by lunch time, is filled with regulars and new faces, probably because of the affordable pricing to go along with a friendly atmosphere that make your home-style breakfast/lunch an experience you will remember.

Hidden Gem. Every Friday I go out for a lunch with a friend and he picked Dee's knowing nothing about it - a drive-by noticing. Urban Spoon didn't offer much help so we went in blind with our fingers crossed. But, as it turns out, we didn't need any luck at Dee's because these folks know what they are doing!

Let me start by the saying the staff were amazing. They made us feel at home, joked around with us and were very fun to be a round. I couldn't help but notice the place was filled with "working-class" people who all seemed to be enjoying their meals.

As we waited, several plates walked by and my eyes were popping over how good the dishes looked, and the size of the servings. I saw a huge club sandwich, and chicken burger that was half the plate and a down-home breakfast. We couldn't wait to get our mitts on the burgers we ordered.

When the food arrived, the visual did not disappoint. The fries were golden brown, the burger was juicy, the bacon crispy, the cheese melty and lettuce fresh. Then came the first bite - amazing! This is how a burger should taste. Mine was called the North, or Northern, and it was a cheeseburger with a fried egg and bacon. Everything on it, along with a "special sauce" worked together to be music in my mouth. The fries were crisp and I had a side of gravy which was a good compliment. My friend reports his double cheeseburger was as good as it gets and agreed the fries were a hit. Where has this place been hiding?

Other mentionables: we both had coffee and never saw the bottom of the cup. The friendly staff were all over making sure the creamers were out and the cup filled. As well, the décor is very relaxing. Nothing is new and shiny; it is all well worn and held together with staples, funny signs and an eclectic décor.

I left full with food still on my plate and we agreed we cannot get back to Dee's soon enough. Next time is breakfast!!
