Great pizza , great service and a cracking price on a tuesday. taste wise blows dominos out of the water

I am not the biggest pizza fan after working in a pizza joint when I was younger. I guess you can say I got sick of it...
But I Love Papa John's Hawaiian BBQ Chicken it's the only thing I order when everyone wants pizza.
Good food terrible service The pizza is awesome and very fresh tasting. The prices are great. The service on the other hand is easily worst in town. I've been there 3 times since it opened and the first time there was a 1.5 hour wait and every time the staff is rude and will answer the phone before dealing with customers at the till. They will look you in the eye then when you try to get there attention they ignore you and go about there business. They did this to everyone not just me. Every time I've been there there has been at least a 45 min wait. But the pizza is better than most. Better people at the till and shorter waits this place could be awesome.
Competition For Dominos. I am a pizza fan. When I want good I go to Dominos and when I want better I go to Panagos. Papa John's falls somewhere in the middle.
I have dined twice - the first was a chicken bacon ranch pizza and I found the taste unique; the crust was great and I liked that it came with a garlic dip. The next time I had a BBQ Hawaiian Chicken and it was awesome. Both had a little pickled pepper in the box which I guess is their quirky signature.
If you care for a little slice of heaven, try the cinnapie. It is simple - pizza crust with sugary cinnamon topping swirled with icing. You'll have no teeth and a small piece is enough.
The staff struggled a bit with the order and speed, but they are new and growing pains are to be expected.
I still need to try a few more pizza creations to decide if they are a keeper. I haven't tried anything with pizza sauce yet - that's next. But they are definitely off to a promising start.
Not everything was positive though. The garlic dipping sauce tasted horrible. It tasted like melted butter, not something that I would want to use as a dip for my pizza. On both occasions, the garlic sauce was added to the pizzas by default but next time, we will be requesting something different.
